Hanuman Worship in Assyria (Post No.13,610)
Where was Assyriya? How long did they rue?
Assyria, kingdom of northern Mesopotamia that became the centre of one of the great empires of the ancient Middle East. It was located in what is now northern Iraq and southeastern Turkey. Assyria was a dependency of Babylonia and later of the Mitanni kingdom (VEDIC RULERS) during most of the 2nd millennium BCE. It emerged as an independent state in the 14th century BCE, and in the subsequent period it became a major power in Mesopotamia.
Assyrian power declined after the death of Tukulti-Ninurta I (c. 1208 BCE). It was restored briefly in the 11th century BCE by Tiglath-pileser I, but during the following period both Assyria and its rivals were preoccupied with the incursions of the seminomadic Aramaeans. The Assyrian kings began a new period of expansion in the 9th century BCE, and from the mid-8th to the late 7th century BCE, a series of strong Assyrian kings—among them Tiglath-pileser III, Sargon II, Sennacherib, and Esarhaddon—united most of the Middle East, from Egypt to the Persian Gulf, under Assyrian rule. My Comments
A very interesting theory about Hanuman is that he is mentioned in the Rig Veda. We find Rama’s name in the Rig Veda. But this Hanuman is not associated with Rama in the Veda. There is a character named Vrsa Kapi in the tenth Mandala of the Rig Veda. Foreigners consider that the last Mandala/Section of the Rig Veda which is not correct.
Vrsa kapi found in the tenth section (RV) is a friend of Indra, but he had a dispute with Indrani, wife of Indra. This is described in a dialogue. My view is that about 20 dialogue poems in the Rig Veda are dance dramas. We had only the plot of the drama in short poems. Once they must have staged them with elaborate prose. This Vrsakapi poem is a comedy drama. All the translators agree that it is a male monkey which is strong and sexually active. Even if we reject the research works on the Vrsa kapi poems, we see the monkey or Ape mentioned in the oldest work.
According to Sanskrit dictionary Vrsakapi has several meanings such as Indra, Siva, Vishnu, Agni. Even Vishnu Sahasranama has Vrsakapi.
Saint Tulsidas said in his Hanumaan Chaaleesaa that Hanumaan spread his fame in Four Yugas. We know for sure Hanuman lived during Rama’s period and Krishna’s period in Arjuna’s flag. Now in our Kali Yuga, he lives in places wherever the name RAMA is recited. But what happened in Krta Yuga?
Probably we have not got direct proof for his existence, but indirect reference is there in the word vrsa KAPI.
The Rig Vedic word KAPI for monkey is in Tamil as KAVI and throughout the whole world as (k)APE.
One type of apes is called LANNGUR; that is also a Sanskrit word LAANGOOLA= tail. Tamil word for female Monkey is MANTHI; that is also found in English as MONKEY. In Tamil dictionary VAAL= tail means monkey. If Tamil children do mischiefs or pranks, they are called VAAL (monkey). See CREA dictionary for more on this Tamil phrase.

All linguists around the world knew
R becomes L; vice versa
B becomes V; vice versa
Lusa Kapi
This word is in Assyrian epigraph in Cuneiform lipi according to a research paper of K N Prasad of Arunachal University in 2007.

Abstract
Vrsakapi is one of thé synonyms of Hanuman. The word Hanuman
– does not apparently exist in the Vedas, but one of the Rgvedic hymns (/0/
86) depicts Vrsakapi who appears to be demi-god. Some scholars have
equated Vrsakapi to Hanuman. But this analogy is not accepted by all. In
the present paper it has been justified that Vrsakapi basically denotes
Hanuman andit is perfectly logical..The content of the Rgvedic episode
has been elaborated in Brahma Purana (Gautami-Mahatmya), After a
comparative analysis of the two, it has been established that the Vrsakapi
of Rgveda is none other than cemi-god Hanuman

What they did not know about LUSA KAPI is
It is nothing but Vrsa Kapi. (v)Rusa kapi
L= R; it is a universal rule, found even in Sangam Tamil Literature, 2000 years ago Tamils wrote Amrut as Amiltham; R=L
It is found in all ancient languages.
Spanish use R=L even today.
In short all Vedic Vrusa Kapi was in Assyria as Lusa Kapi.
My Comments
The word Apa is used through out Western Europe for APE; they said it may be due to Monkeys came via water (aapa) to Europe. It is absurd and nonsense.
Aapa is used by Brahmins every day for water in their thrice a day Sandhyavandana worship. It has nothing to do with monkey.
Kape/ Kapi in the Rigveda becomes (k) APE in other languages. That is corrupted as Apa in Europe.

ABOUT LUSA KAPI
Lusakapi is another interesting word that occurs in wisdomlib.com as the name of a Hindu king. This word is found in Assyrian epigraph. Actually the real pronunciation is Rsakapi. R an L are transferrable if you replace L in Lusa kaphi it will be Vrsakapih. Only the spelling is wrong.
R -L transfers occur around the world. For us the best example comes from 2000 year old Sangam Tamil corpus. Tamils replaced Amruta= Amiltham
Wisdomlib.com says there was a king in India with that name. The name is in Assyria as well. So, Hindus spread their Sanskrit language up to Mesopotamia (now Iraq/Turkey). All agree that the Mitannian Civilization was a Vedic civilization. They ruled from 1600 BCE for 400 years in Syria and Turkey. Rig Vedic Gods and names like Dasarata are there. That Dasaratha’s letters are in Egypt now known as Amarna letters. Sumerian King Rama Sin (Rama Chandran) was the best ruler according to Sumerian scholars.
Conclusion
My earlier articles such as RAMAYANA IN BIBLE (Sringeri Magazine Sankara Kripa article), Rama in Sumeria, Ram(ses) in Egypt and Kanchi Sankaracharya’s (1894-1994) speech about Rama in Madagascar Island, Monkey God worship in Egypt – all show Rama was known, and Hanuman was worshipped around the world. But the king names such as Ram sin in Sumeria, 14 Ram Seshan kings in Egypt, Vrsa Kapi in Assyria came after our great Lord Rama, who lived many thousand years before Egypt, Sumer and Assyria. HIS name was used by all the rulers.
Jai Sri Ram; Jai Hanuman
