    The environmental and health dangers of meat and beef based diet were brought out years ago by John Robbins in his books. He is the scion of the Baskin Robbins ice cream empire, who refused to step into the management of the company as he felt that ice cream was not healthy. Robbins has shown how America is getting destroyed due to its dependence on the beef industry. It seems commercial greed and short sightedness will win over science.
