Max Muller Gang propagated the Aryan Invasion theory to destroy Hinduism. They wanted to show that Hinduism and Vedas were imported products. Max Muller proudly said that being a German he was also of Aryan stock. Hitler caught this point and proclaimed that Germans were Aryans and they alone can rule the world and caused millions of deaths. In short Max Muller created a demon.
In the past 50 years, latest discovery about Sarasvati River debunked Max Muller theory. The interpretation of Soma Rasa/juice filter in Indus Valley seals also pushed back the date of Vedic Civilisation. But many people deliberately hid the’ Sesame seed and Water factor.’
Hindus use water in all the ceremonies from birth to death. No other culture does it. It shows that Hindus are sons of the soil and they did not come from cold regions of Central Asia. Another proof lies in the use of sesame seeds and rice with water in all the funeral ceremonies. Both rice and sesame seeds are tropical plants and native to India. It is very hard to change old customs or to introduce something new in the wedding or funeral ceremonies. Every culture is very keen to follow their own tradition. From Kanyakumari to Kashmir the Hindu wedding ceremonies and funeral rites are one and the same for at least 2000 years. Unfortunately, no books are available except Sanskrit books before 2000 years. But Sangam Tamil books, which are 2000 years old, confirm the Vedic rites practised in the southernmost part of India.

Sesame seeds
Sesame plant is a tropical plant. We have found this in Indus- Sarasvati valley civilization as well. The botanical name is Sesamum orientale or indicum.
The souls of the dead ancestors are worshipped with this seed. The Sanskrit word for sesame is Til or Tila. Tilanjali or til mixed with water is a necessary offering to pitris (spirits of the dead ancestors).
It is associated in Bengal with the worship of Goddess of Wealth, possibly owing to its utility as a commercial product. Tamils traditionally use its oil for cooking. They use it for twice a week oil bath. Tila expellers are common scenes in villages and towns. Hindu communities in other states use Tila+ Jaggery mixture on Sankranti days and New Year days.
In Maharashtra sugared sesame seed is given to all the members of the family and friends with the words “thilagula dhyaa god bola (Eat Sweet Sesamum and Speak to me Sweetly) , to ensure the absence of quarrelling throughout the year. Sesamum oil is burned in the lamps, offered to Sankara and rubbed on the body before bathing.
Rubbing sesamum oil (gingelly oil) on the body is followed twice a week in Tamil Nadu. All temples burn lamps with gingelly oil only.
On Saturdays sesamum seeds with oil is lighted in front of Sani Bhagwan shrines (Planet Saturn) in all the Tamil temples; Til is associated with Planet Saturn in Hindu astrology.

Mahabharata on sesame seeds
This use of sesamum may be due to the belief that it is able to ward off evil spirits. The following dictum on the use of sesamum occurs in the Mahabharata:
The gift of sesame seeds is a very superior gift. It produces ever lasting merit. The gift of sesame seeds in the Sradhdha is also applauded. One should, on the full moon day in Vaishaka make gifts of sesame to Brahmins. They should also be made to eat sesame seeds on every occasion that one can afford.
(Anusasana Parva of Mahabharata)

Brahmins do Tarpana at least 90 times in a year. Tarpana is offering sesamum seeds with water to the ancestors. Non brahmins join brahmins at least twice a year during Adi and Thai new moon days (Ashada and Pausa months. During Yughadi (new year day) and Sankranti, such tarpana is done. On the death anniversary of father and mother also Tarpana is offered to dead spirits.

Shat Tila Ekadasi
The Pausa month Krishna Paksha Ekadasi is called Six Sesamum Eleventh day. On this day sesamum should be used in six ways 1.Thrown into water used for bathing, 2.Pounded and rubbed on the body, 3.Eaten (six only), 4.thrown into one’s drinking water, 5.Given as alms to Brahmins and 6.Sacrificed to Gods.
The Brahma Purana says that Yama created sesamum seeds this day after a long penance, to obtain purification for sin.

Bhishmashtami
Magha Sukla Eigth day is called Bhishma Ashtami. This is the anniversary of the death of Bhishma, one of the great heroes of Mahabharata and a relative of both Pandavas and Kauravas. He had made a vow of celibacy, in order that his step mother’s children should have no rival but should succeed to his father’s inheritance. But the step mother proved childless and there were no descendants to perform Bhishma’s Sradhdha (offering of food on death anniversary), which they would have done in place of the sons whom he had so nobly foregone. His sacrifice (of married life) is considered the greatest sacrifice by the Hindus. So the whole nation, including men of all castes, were enjoined to perform this rite to his memory at noon, on the anniversary of his death, offering water, sesamum seeds and boiled rice. By observing this, the sins of a whole year committed by a man (and his family) will be expiated.
Sesamum seed is very important for Hindus not only in the worship of ancestors but also in the worship of Ganesh, Gauri and Lakshmi. This is practised over a vast geographical area for thousands of years. So this cannot be an imported custom. This explodes the myth of Aryan Migration into India from a colder region and thus gives a big slap on the face of Max Muller gangs.
