On March 18, 2025 I was fortunate enough to have Darshan at Nanganallur Anjaneya Temple and Raja Rajeswari temple and Sri Muralidhara Swamikal at Maharanyam near Malaippattu in Chennai- Sriperumpudur route.
In fac,t I have to add two more temples to the above list. At the Maharanyam Ashram of Sri Muralidhara Swamikal there are two temples: one for Perumal/Vishnu and another for Anjaneya.
First, I went to Nanganallur Anjaneya temple and had good darshan (reverential viewing of god or saint). The huge Anjaneya is visible even from the road. By passers worshipped Hanuman sitting on bicycle or motorcycle.
Someone suggested that we should visit Rajarajeswari temple and my wife was very keen because her name and the goddess name are one and the same. It is a small but beautiful temple. Male devotees have to take off their shirt like Parikkaal Narasimhar temple.
And one has to climb steep steps covered with golden coloured metal. And there are other smaller shrines as well. Nearby there is a Vishnu temple too.

I had been in touch with Sri Muralidhara Swamikal’s devotees for over a decade in London. They advised me to visit the Swamiji and get his blessings. When I went to the Ashram, the doors were closed and there was a board Sying Restricted entry; fortunately, I left a message over telephone. But Swamiji himself came into the adjacent Perumal Temple. After paying pranams to him I introduced myself. He made kind enquiries and asked his disciple to take me around the temple, ashram and the dining hall for my lunch.
There is a beautiful Hanuman temple like Nanganallur Hanuman. After the arti I was taken around the Go Shala (cow shed), Veda Patassla, Library and the Dining Hall. I had lunch there and met Swamiji again.
Sri Muralidhara Swamikal is one of the few genuine saints in Tamil Nadu. I have been following him on Facebook for a decade. His main teaching is to recite god’s name every day. Unlike many Babas and many Gurus, there is no cult attached. He has Veda patasalas (Vedic Schools ) in several places. His devotees have started branches in different countries around the world. Only through London devotees I came to know about the good work of Swamiji and arranged meetings when his disciple Ramanujam came to London. Recital of God’s name is the gateway to God and so he called it Namadwar (naamadwaar=Name Door/Gate).
Please visit his Ashram and support his activities through donations. I also did it.

I attach below a writeup which his American devotees have placed in their website:
Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji
His Holiness Maharanyam Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji, hailing from Chennai, India, is a philosopher and spiritual preceptor who practices and propagates the practical aspects of Indian spirituality.
His key activities are in the direction of educating people of the fact that real happiness is very much within one’s own self and that inner peace and tranquillity will naturally lead to universal brotherhood and harmony. Realization of this truth in this age of haste and hurry is as much possible and practicable as it was in earlier ages, and can be attained by simple but sustained practices that include mind control and chanting of the Divine Name of God, especially the “Hare Rama…” Mahamantra.
He inculcates a spirit of universal acceptance, coupled with intense faith and steadfast devotion on the path the spiritual seeker is treading on.
Sri Swamiji believes that Nama Kirtan (singing the name of the Lord) is the easiest way to perform Bhakti and attain liberation in this Kali Yuga. Srimad Bhagavatam and many other scriptures in Sanatana Dharma advocate this as the simplest means to attain the Lord. Scriptures say, “While mental repetition of the Divine Names leads to the good of the individual, chanting the Divine Names loudly purifies the chanter, the listener and the very place where the chanting is done.”, Sri Swamiji advocates singing of the ‘Hare Rama…’ Mahamantra as the only way to overcome the ills of worldly existence and attain divine bliss.
