பைரன் என்னும் ஆங்கிலக் கவிஞரை பிரிட்டனை விட அதிகம் மதிப்பது கிரேக்க (Hellas= Greece) நாடுதான். அவருக்காக அஞ்சல் தலை வெளியிட்டு கவுரவித்தனர்.
லார்ட் பைரன் பாரதியாரைப் போலவே இலம் வயதில் மரணம் அடைந்தார். ஆனால் இலக்கிய உலகில் அழையாப் புகழ் பெற்றார்.
நான் 1992ம் ஆண்டில் நவம்பர் முதல் தேதி தினமணி பத்திரிக்கையில் எழுதிய ஆறு கட்டுரைகளில் பைரனின் உடைவாள் ஏலம் பற்றிய செய்தியைக் காண்போம்.
