  5. No, the answer is not Rs 1/. If the cost of the bottle were Re 1/ and that of the cork 10 Paise then the bottle would cost only 90 Paise more than the cork. Considering it more carefully we come out with the correct answer : 105 Paise.
  6. ‘Cipher’ means Zero. The word ‘Cipher’ comes from the Arabic Sifr. Our word ‘Zero’ is derived from the word.
  7. The answer is not 30 hours. At the end of 27 hours he is 3 ft from the top. And during the 28th hour he climbs the remaining 3 ft and he is out. So the answer is 28 hours.
