1.With the lofty hills of Nallamala and Palamuru forming a majestic backdrop, and the river Pennar and its many tributaries flowing by serenely, this town is  located in the Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh, known for its  black limestone.

2. It is a small 11^th century town located in northern part of Madhya Pradesh. It is known for its quaint forts, hills and elegant hand-woven sarees. This six yard of piece is adorned around the globe for the artistry behind their creation.

3. This city is also known as the Millennium City as well as the Silver City due to its history of 1000 years and famous silver filigree works. It is also considered as the judicial capital of Odisha as the Odisha High Court is located here.

7. This Madhya Pradesh town  is famous for its forest and mineral wealth and also for a few eminent tourist spots such as Tamia, Patalkot, Devgarh Fort, Tribal Museum and renowned ‘Gotmaar fair’. One of the adjacent tourist spots is Bhartadev where a stone thought to weigh 10,000 kg apparently stands on a pin point.

8.This Tamil town is the place where the Ponnaiyar, Kedilam, Uppanar and Paravanar rivers join. Pitchavaram Mangove forest is very near. Famous temples are also located . Because of French rule it has got a strange spelling.
