1..Situated in Punjab, this city is known to house some beautiful, pious gurudwaras and temples. A few notable ones worth visiting are the Saragarhi Memorial Gurudwara and the Jain Swetambar Temple, which is over 1,200 years old.

2.This Punjab town is also known as Bangla,  known for a style of jhumar dance promulgated by Baba Pokhar Singh (1916–2002).

7. The Gurudwara here is dedicated to the great martyrdom of younger sons of Guru Gobind Singh ; ancient Chakreswari temple is believed to be 1000 years old and largest banyan tree is in this area.

8.This well constructed fort town in Haryana bears connection to the Harappan era .The district was a part of Nanda empire, according to Puranas. This district also was a part of Mauryan empire, which was discovered from the Ashokan pillars here.
