For the fourth year the Radha Madhav Kalyana Mahotsav was celebrated in London in a grand manner where over 2500 devotees attended. A registered charity organises it every year. This year it was celebrated in Sattavis Patidar Centre in Wembley (part of greater London).
Top most Sampradhaya Bhajan singer Udayalur Dr Kalyanaraman lead the three day wedding event with his beautiful team of musicians. The team travelled all the way from Chennai and visited Reading, Manchester, Birmingham, Slough and other places to perform Bhajans in the past two weeks.
On 24, 25 and 26th November 2023, the wedding was organised in London.
On Saturday and Sunday over 1000 people attended the events each day. All the devotees had good feast on all the three days. Devotees contributed their mite whole heartedly. A committee was planning the event at weekly gatherings of well wishers for the past three months. Several London businesses also contributed and made the event a success.
Though there are scores of young and old volunteers who worked very hard for the success of the event, all appreciated the dedicated service of Rajagopalan (Raj Iyer) and Mrs Meena Rajagopalan, M Rajagopalan (rajja) and Mrs Uma Rajagopalan, Suubu Iyer alias Subrahmanyam and Mrs Gayathri Subrahmanyam, Chandrasekhar and Purnima Chandrasekhar,Balasubrahmanyam and Mrs Padma Balsubrahmanyam of Ilford, N.Ganesan, and Mahesh.
It was the fourth year that devotees came forward with same enthusiasm. Dr Udayalur has a brilliant team with Brigha Balasubrahmanyam and Mridanghist and Harmonium player. The Divine Wedding of Sri Madhav with Sow Radha is considered auspicious by all the Hindus. Dr Udayalur Kalyanaraman also mentioned that all the good wishes of every family will be fulfilled after attending today’s wedding. He was in all praise for the organisers and participants for their chanting of the Divine Names.
A remarkable thing is that the devotees travelled over 200 miles from all the four directions in the U K to attend the holy wedding.
