What is the significance of Nidhivan?
Nidhivan which means “Tulsi Forest ” is one of the sacred sites of Vrindavan, nobody is allowed to stay inside the premises. Nidhivan is considered as one of the mysterious places of Vrindavan. It is a dense forest with the lush green trees. The interesting thing is that the barks of the trees are hollow and the land is absolutely dry, but the tree remains loaded with green leaves throughout the year. Vrindavan saint Swami Haridas got an idol of Radha Krishna here. He was the Guru of Tansen, Akbar’s Royal Musician. Every year big music festival is organised at the site.
