Nagarjuna was a great magician and Buddhist philosopher; he lived 2000 year ago. He is attributed with so many discoveries in chemistry and alchemy. He was said to be author of several books dealing with different subjects ; one of his books in Yogaratnamala. This book contains very strange and incredible things including becoming invisible, making people one’s slaves, destroying enemies, making people mad and creating enmity in families etc.
Born as a Brahmin, Nagarjuna converted himself as a Buddhist and founded Mahayana Buddhism. All his works were destroyed when Muslims burnt down world famous Nalanda University and its library. But fortunately Buddhists translated all his Sanskrit works in to Chinese and they were translated back into Sanskrit several centuries ago. There were also commentaries on his works. All these show that scholars took his works serious. His knowledge in Chemistry is proved by the Non- rusting Iron Pillar of Delhi. Hindus were far advanced in chemistry and alchemy at that time.

Prepare pills out of Rasanjana (Yellow oxide of Mercury) Shailaja (Premila perporata), honey, Yashti Madhu(Glycyrhiza glabra), menstrual blood of a girl on her first menses, flowers of fresh Languli (Gloriasa superba) and place it in a locket of gold, silver and copper. On putting this locket on the neck of a man becomes invisible to others.

Take the root of a green Ashoka (Saraca indica) and get it dried an powdered and then put this powder in the solution of Haritala (Dioxide of Arsenic) and get it dried in the sun. if you put this powder in a capsule made of gold, silver and copper and keep it inside the mouth, you will be invisible to others.
One commentator says Haritala is the blood of deer.

Take naked, the root of north side of Tagara /Walleriana Wallichi and put it in a capsule made of gold, silver or copper. On keeping this inside the mouth the man becomes invisible to others.

Grind Gorochana , flower of Ingudi (BalanitesRox Burgli) eyelashes of a woman who had committed suicide by hanging, and residue of food taken by a crow. These four things should be mixed together. Out of this mixture prepare pills and put them in a casket made of gold, silver or copper. By keeping this casket in the mouth, the man becomes invisible to others. This is termed kalpalata by Nagarjuna.

Mix the menstrual blood of unmarried girl with manasila (Dioxide of Arsenic) and then grind both in the crematory ground. On putting a mark/ Tilak in the forehead with this , a man becomes invisible to others.
Three more slokas/couplets talk about the use of some other chemicals and use of pigeon, crow etc. Yogaratnamala lays emphasize on doing several things on Pushya star.
Those we may consider many of his pharmacopeia absurd, scholars believed in these things for 2000 years and translated them and kept in China and Tibet.
