Ahah -samvartah – word number 232
Tamil word PAKAL is derived from Ahah/day.
Tamil word IRAVU is derived from Raatri/Night.
Or both Sanskrit and Tamil have come from different sides of Lord Shiva’s kettle drum. That is what Tamil saints say.
The meaning of word 232 according to Adi Shankara is,
The Lord who, as the sun, regulates the succession of day and night.
Sun is the biggest source of energy for earth.

jahnuh- word number 244
One who dissolves all beings in Oneself at the time of dissolution. Or one who abandons the evil doers and leads the devotees to salvation.
My Comments
Western scientists have not yet confirmed Dissolution/ Big Crunch. According to them, TIME is linear; according to Hindus, TIME is cyclical; Big Bangs and Big Crunches happen again and again. When Biblical scholars said Earh appeared in 4004 BCE, No Max Muller, No Keith and Mc Donald, No Griffith, in short no half baked westerner opened his mouth against it. But Hindu scriptures repeatedly said Sahasra Koti Yugadharine- Oh God you carry in You, 1000 million YUGAS ( 432,000 years). An unimaginable number.
Was the Earth created in 4004 BC?
4004 BC: On 23 October 4004 BC, the world was created, according to Archbishop James Ussher of Armagh (1581-1656). Ussher was highly regarded in his day as a churchman and a scholar.

Vaayuvaahanah- Word No.331
Adi Shankara interpreted it as follows,
One who vibrates the SEVEN Vaayus or atmospheres beginning with Aavaha.
My Comments:
Meteorology as science is studied for the last 150 years or so and they divided atmospheric layers from Troposphere to Exosphere. But all Tamil and Sanskrit poems talk about seven types of clouds and seven types of gases or atmospheres.
Is it not amazing to know they even thought about gases, atmospheres, different layers up and down? (7 Lokas up, Seven lokas down!)
Tamil and Sanskrit Inscriptions praised kings as Tri Bhuvana Chakravarti. To cut it short , they always thought beyond earth entities.
(The atmosphere is comprised of layers based on temperature. These layers are the troposphere, stratosphere, mesosphere and thermosphere. A further region at about 500 km above the Earth’s surface is called the exosphere).
Adi Shankara and his predecessors knew it.

somah – word No.505 in VS
Soma plant is referred to thousands of times in Four Vedas. It is a mystery plant that gave the elixir of life. But 200 years ago, two half- baked white men identified it with two hallucinate drug plants. It is in the very first page of Griffith’s Rig Veda translation which is on my table along with Bhagavad Gita and Tamil Tirukkural.
According to Shankara
One who as the Moon invigorates the plants. Or one who is with Uma
(God Shiva is also Soma; Sa+Uma= He who is with Uma)
My Comments
Soma has three meanings:
1.Moon
2.Shiva (ne who is with Uma; in all Tamil Temple we have Somaskandar idols; Shiva+Uma+ Skanda)
3.Mystery Plant; Rig Veda has one big chapter exclusively for this mysterious tonic. Unfortunately, we lost Soma like Dodo.
The moon’s link to plants is not yet established by any modern scientist. They say Lotus blooms when the sun rises; Lily blooms when the sun sets. That is all.
(Soma Rasa is rejuvenating, refreshing, life lengthening , health giving etc. I have written several articles on it)

More SOMA words
Somapah – word No.503 in VS
Soma occurs as 503, 505 and in 974
For 503 Shankara says,
One who drinks the Soma in all Yajnaas in the form of Devataa (deity). Or one who takes the Somas as the master of sacrifice for the sake of Dharma.
And in 974 (Yajnaangah) Harivamsa Slokas are quoted where it says The Soma juice is His blood)
My comments
If we believe that Soma is a hallucinate drug, then we accept Hindus are pukka drug users, Hindu Gods are pukka drunkards, Hindu Gods blood is nothing but Soma drugs. Christian interpreters of Vedas (the Max Muller Gang) wanted to show Hindus and Hindu Gods as Drug users and destroy Hinduism. But they did not succeed. Then they showed Krishna as a womaniser with 60,000 Gopis. Swami Vivekananda blasted them and explained who the Gopis women were and now we see those things only in 100 year old British Library books ( I have facebooked and blogged those booklets)
If our forefathers were pukka drug users we would not be here today. Our race would have died long before, like Dinosaurs or Dodos.
The Rig Vedic translators repeatedly tried to destroy Hinduism and failed miserably. Then they used girls and money for conversion and succeeded ten percent.

ATOM and the huge
brhat (836), Krsah (837), Sthuulah (838)
Shankara shows God as BIG, HUGE, GIGANTIC in all the three words. He quoted Katha Upanishad 1-2-20
Mahato Mahiyaan
My Comments
In the Katha Upanishad (1.2.20) it is said:
anor aniyan mahato mahiyan
atmasya jantor nihitah guhayam
tam akratuh pasyati vita-soko
dhatuh prasadan mahimanam atmanah.
Aṇor aṇīyān mahato mahīyān: “The Lord is smaller than the smallest and greater than the greatest.
Hindus knew that ANU is the smallest particle. Tamils also used the Sanskrit word; later Tamil poets like Avvaiyar and Tirumular speaks about it more elaborately.
Tamil Poetess says in praise of Tamil Veda Tirukkural,
‘He has put so much into this book as if one pierces an atom and puts Seven Oceans into it’.
Tiruvasagam of Manikkavasagar also depicts Anu as the smallest particle.
Tirumular also talks about dividing a hair into 100 or 1000pieces.
Acharya Kanada, also known as Kashyapa, an ancient Indian natural scientist and philosopher, formulated the theory of atoms 2500 years before John Dalton’s discovery. He founded the Vaisheshika school of Indian philosophy that epitomized the earliest Indian physics.
Later Greek philosopher named Democritus (around 400 B.C.), used the Greek word atomos, which means uncuttable. And so as he explained, all matter was eventually reducible to discrete, small particles or atomos. The word atom arrived from this Greek word. My research shows it is derived from Adhama in Sanskrit which means lowest, meanest.
Adhama (अधम).—a. [av-ama; avateḥ amaḥ, vasya pakṣe dhaḥ Uṇādi-sūtra 5.54.] The lowest, vilest, meanest;
Wisdom Library says,
Aṇu (अणु).—a. (ṇu-ṇvī f.) [अण्-उन् (aṇ-un)] Minute, small, little, atomic (opp. sthūla, mahat); अणोरणीयान् (aṇoraṇīyān) Bhagavadgītā (Bombay) 8.9; सर्वोप्ययं नन्वणुः (sarvopyayaṃ nanvaṇuḥ) Bhartṛhari 3.26. insignificantly small; अण्वपि भयम् (aṇvapi bhayam) Manusmṛti 6. 4; अण्वपि याच्यमानः (aṇvapi yācyamānaḥ) Pañcatantra (Bombay) 4.26 asked but an atom, a very small quantity, न कन्यायाः पिता विद्वान् गृह्णीयात् शुल्कमण्वपि (na kanyāyāḥ pitā vidvān gṛhṇīyāt śulkamaṇvapi) Manusmṛti 3.51.
-ṇuḥ 1 An atom, a very small particle (an exceedingly small measure); the mote in a sunbeam, the smallest perceptible quantity; अस्थूलमनण्वह्रस्वमदीर्घं ब्रह्म (asthūlamanaṇvahrasvamadīrghaṃ brahma); अणुं पर्वतीकृ (aṇuṃ parvatīkṛ) Bhartṛhari 2.78. to magnify; cf. also ‘To make mountains of molehills.’
2) An atom of time (vyañjanamardha- mātrā tadardham aṇu); it is said to be 54,675, th part of a Muhūrta (48 minutes).
3) Name of Śiva.
4) Name of very small grain such as सर्षप, चीनक (sarṣapa, cīnaka) &c., अनणुषु दशमांशोऽणुष्वथैकादशांशः (anaṇuṣu daśamāṃśo’ṇuṣvathaikādaśāṃśaḥ) Līlā.
