One of the greatest poets of middle period of Tamil lliterature is Kamban. He lived 1000 years ago in Tamil Nadu and composed Ramayana in Tamil.
For the first time a great festival is being held in London on 13 and 14th July 2024. Over 1000 people attended the first day today. Famous tamil speakers from India and Sri Lanka are invited to speak.
I was there for only two hours because of prior commitments. Great donors of London made the event a grand success.
Those who missed today’s event may go there tomorrow Sunday. Free coffee and free food are arranged. Admission is free which is held in Alperton Community school in Wembley.
3 pm starting time 9 pm finishing time.
London Tamils thanked the organisers wholeheartedly.
