Swami Swaroopananda, Global Head of Chinmaya Mission , gave Talks on Sacred Sounds (Siva Panchakshara Stotram).
On the last day a young dancerVarun danced for Siva Shambo song for ten minutes. All gave him a big applause.
All the five days the attendance was very good- ranged between 800 to 1000 devotees; no food Prasad but only a new booklet prasad.
Started right on time like RSS meetings and finished on time like RSS meetings.
A lot of youths like RSS meetings. No old goose sleeping like in religious discourses and Bhajans.
Swamiji explained PANCHA AKSHARA -one letter each day Na, Ma, Si, Va, Ya. That removed all the five fears including death.
Dhyana for ten minutes and Stotra recitation every day for ten minutes in the beautiful voice of Madhu.
Big difference between Chinmaya meetings and other meetings:
1 A lot of boys and girls, youths.
2.Book shop with lot of Hinduism books, puzzles, toys etc.
3. No food prasad but the attendance was 1000.
4.Admission is absolutely FREE like RSS meetings and Sathya Sai Baba meetings/Bhajans
5. Voluntary donations as Guru Dakshina was accepted on the last day.
I always buy books and give Guru Dakshina. Anyone who listened to his in-depth lectures would voluntarily give Guru Dakshina.
