Lakshmi in Japan

In Bessom Zakki (Desription of Gods) written in the 12th century, written in Siddham script,  a corrupt Sanskrit mantra reads as follows,

Sarasvatai svaha, namo Sarasvatyai mahadevyai svaha, namo bhagavata mahadevyai sarsvati sidhyatu mantrapadami svaha.

A description of Sarasvati occurs in the voluminous text Ashabasho by Shocho 1205-82 and the rituals connected with her worship have been recorded by Ryoson 1279 CE to 1349 CE in chapter CXLIX of his Byaku Hokku Sho (The White Jewel of Indian Tradition).

Scriptures of Nagarjuna and Aryadeva were known to Japanese.
