Here is my latest book:
Shiva Temple in Australia
Foreword
I have visited Australia twice in the last ten years. During 2024-2025, I was lucky to stay there for three months continuously. Australia is the sixth largest country in the world. Unless one is young and wanderlust, it is difficult to cover all the important tourist spots. There are 10,000 beaches!
When I mentioned that I should go to Uluru/ Ayers Rock in the middle of the continent, even my relatives who have been living there for over three decades, advised me against the trip. But the East coast of the continent lashed out by the vast Pacific Ocean is the area where 87 % of the people live. I have covered all the important places in the New South Wales where Sydney is located. Of the seven states, I have covered only two states New South Wales and Queensland.
Though I have visited the most famous natural wonder Great Barrier reef, Brisbane city, Bondi Beach and Nantien Buddhist temple, I have not written much about them in this book. But I have written detailed articles in Tamil. I have travelled by train, ferry, plane and car which helped me to understand the actual life there. Hope this book with lot of useful tips will encourage new visitors to see all the places without any difficulty.
Australian Weather is a problem for travellers. Even Sydney experiences rain in 140 days in a year. So, people walk with umbrellas. I would suggest everyone to study the weather before travelling to a tourist spot.
