Mitraseva UK conducted its Third Maha Rudra Japa Yajnam in Harrow (London ) on Sunday 25^th May 2025. It was their third successful Homam with over 700 participants. They recited the Rudram and Chamakam Mantras of Yajur Veda 11 times while the priests conducted Homam (Havan). The stage was decorated with a beautiful Mont Kailash image. At the end of each recitation there was arti and abishekam to the beautiful crystal Shiva Linga on the stage.

It is significant that even many boys recited the Rudra- Chamaka by heart. Women folk made Prasad and decorations.

Last evening, a prayer session was held by women.

Sri Kalyanasundara Sivacharya lead the priests, and he dedicated each recitation to all the famous Hindu Shiva Shrines in India.

Mitraseva organisers Sri M Rajagopalan, Mrs Uma Rajagopalan, Mr Raj Iyer, Mr Subramanyam (Subbu Iyer ) and Mrs Gayatri Subramanyam and scores of volunteers made elaborate arrangements. After the Poorna Ahuti prasad was given to all the participants.

Another significant thing is the participants travel from far off cities in the Uk to participate in the event. Now the Rudra Mahayajnam has become a permanent annual event of Mitra seva. It has been conducting Radha Kalyanam in November every year with Sri Udaiyalur Dr Kalyana Raman team. Over thousand people attend its annual Radha Kalyanam .

Mitraseva is a registered charity and people can contribute to it if they can’t attend the events personally. Their web site has the bank details. They have a WhatsApp group through which you can get event details in advance.
