திரெளபதி
PARIKSHIT– Posthumous son of Abhimanyu. When he was in the womb of his mother Uttara , Krishna saved him from the weapon of Ashwaththama. When Parikshit went on a hunting expedition he threw a dead snake on the meditating rishi Shamika. His son Shrungi cursed him that he would be killed within seven days by snake king Takshaka naga. Before he died, Shuk , son of Vyasa recited him Bhagavata purana.
பரீக்ஷித்
அபிமன்யு – சுபத்ராவுக்குப் பிறந்தவர் பரீக்ஷித் . சுபத்ராவின் கர்ப்பத்தில் இருக்கும்போதே அபிமன்யு , யுத்தத்தில் இறந்தார் . பரீக்ஷித் மூலமாக சந்திர வம்சம் பிழைத்தது ஆயினும் அரசனாக இருந்த காலத்தில் காட்டிற்கு வேட்டையாடச் சென்றபோது ஷமிகா என்ற ரிஷியின் மேல் செத்த பாம்பினைத் தூக்கி எறிந்தான். இதைக்கண்டு ஆத்திரம் அடைந்த ரிஷியின் மகன் ச்ருங்கி, ஏழே நாட்களுக்குள் பாம்பினால் கடிபட்டு மன்னன் இறப்பான் என்று சபித்தான். அதன்படியே தக்ஷ நாகன் கடித்தவுடன் பரீக்ஷித் இறந்தான் அந்த ஏழு நாட்களில் வியாசரின் மகன் சுகர், அவனுக்கு பாகவத புராணத்தை விரித்துரைத்தார்

சிகண்டி
JAYADRATHA– INDUS VALLEY KING-King of Sindhu Desa. Husband of Duschala, sister of Duryodhana . Once he tried to kidnap Draupadi, but Pandavas spoiled it. He did severe penance and asked Mahadeva for a boon to defeat all the Pandavas. Mahadeva told him he would be able to defeat Pandavas except Arjuna. On the fourteenth day of Mahabharata war Krishna created darkness by concealing sun with his Wheel . Thinking that the day’s fighting was over Jayadratha appeared without weapons. Arjuna killed him at once. Scholars believe that Krishna knew about the impending solar eclipse on that day and used it. This episode of Solar eclipse is in Sangam Tamil book Purananuru verse 174. The war took place on alternate days.

சிந்து தேச மன்னன்; துரியோதணனின் சகோதரி துஸ்சலாவின் கணவன் ; அவன் மஹாதேவனிடம், பாண்டவர்களை அழிக்க வரம் கேட்டபோது , அர்ஜுனனைத் தவிர அவன் வேறு எல்லோரையும் வெல்லலாம் என்று வரம் கொடுத்தார். பதினாலாவது நாள் யுத்தத்தில் கிருஷ்ண பகவான் தனது சக்கரத்தால் சூரியனை மறைக்கவே யுத்தம் முடியும் மாலை நேரம் வந்து விட்டது என்று எண்ணி, ஜயத்ரதன் பாதுகாப்பின்றி வெளியே வந்த போது, இருள் நீங்கியவுடன் அர்ஜுனன் அவனைக் கொன்றான் ; மகாபாரத யுத்தம் ஒரு நாள் விட்டு ஒரு நாள் நடந்ததால் அந்த நாள் சூரிய கிரகணம் நடந்திருக்கலாம் என்பது சில ஆராய்ச்சியாளரின் கருத்து.. இந்த நிகழ்ச்சி சங்க இலக்கிய புறநானூற்றுப் பாடலிலும் (174) உள்ளது

KRTIAVARMA– a Yadava of the Bhoja lineage. Son of Hradika. In the Mahabharata war, he fought on the Kaurava side as one of the 11 commanders. At the end of the war, only three of the commanders including him survived. He was against another Yadava commander Satyaki who fought on the Pandava side. Years after the war all Yadava leaders assembled in Dwaraka. During a drinking party they fought among themselves and all of them were killed.
கிருதவர்மா
கெளரவர்களின் பதினோரு படைத் தளபதிகளில் ஒருவர்; பாரத யுத்தத்தின் முடிவில் தப்பிப் பிழைத்த மூன்று தளதிகளில் கிருத வர்மாவும் உள்ளார் . பாரத யுத்தம் முடிந்து நீண்ட காலம் ஆனபோது துவாரகா கடற்கரையில் யாதவர்கள் குடித்துவிட்டச் சண்டை செய்தனர் அதில் கிருதவர்மா, யாதவ தலைவர் சாத்யகி முதலியோர் இறந்தனர்.

த்ருஷ்டத்யும்னா
BHURISHRAVA – he was one of the 11 commanders of the Kaurava army. His arch enemy was Satyaki. He caught hold of Satyaki in the battle field and was about to cut his head with his right hand. At that time Arjuna came to help Satyaki and cut off Bhurishrava’s right hand. Saying this was against the rules of war he sat in the middle of the battle field and did Satyagraha. But Satyaki cut off Bhuri’s head without any hesitation.
பூரிஸ்ரவன் .
போர்க்களத்தில் சத்யாக்ரஹம் செய்த முதல் அரசன். சந்தனுவின் சகோதரன் பாஹ்லிக. அவனுடைய புதல்வன் பூரிஸ்ரவன் . கெளரவர்களின் 11 படைத்தளபதிகளில் ஒருவன்; சாத்யகி அவனுடைய பரம எதிரி; சாத்யகியைப் போர்க்களத்தில் பிடித்து இடது கையால் குடுமியைப் பிடித்து வலது கையால் வெட்டப்போனபோது அரஜுனன் பூரிச்ரவனனின் வலது கையை வெட்டினான். இது போர் விதிகளுக்கு முரணானது என்று சொல்லி ஆயுதங்களைத் தூக்கி எறிந்துவிட்டுப் போர்க்களத்தில் அமர்ந்து சத்யாக்ரஹம் செய்தான்.
சாத்யகி எழுந்து வந்து பூரிஸ்ரவன் தலையைச் சீவினான்.

INDRA : Arjuna was born to Kunti with the grace of Indra. During the war Karna announced that he would donate anything to Brahmins. Just to save his son Arjuna, Indra went in the guise of a Brahmin and asked for his armour. Karna gave it to him without any hesitation. At the end it cost his life; Karna was killed by Arjuna.
இந்திரன்
இந்திரனின் மந்திரத்தை ஜபித்து கர்ப்பம் அடைந்த குந்தி அர்ஜுனனைப் பெற்று எடுத்தாள்; போர் துவங்கும்போது பிராமணர்கள் எல்லோருக்கும் கர்ணன் தானம் வழங்கினான். இந்திரன் தனது மகன் அர்ஜுனனைக் காப்பாறுவதற்காக பிராமணர் வேடத்தில் சென்று கர்ணனின் கவச குண்டலங்களைத் தானமாகப் பெற்றான். அவை கர்ணனிடம் இருந்தால் அவனை யாரும் வெல்ல முடியாது
