MANU SMRITI -Chapter- 9
9-1. I will now propound the eternal laws for a husband and his wife who keep to the path of duty, whether they be united or separated.
2. Day and night woman must be kept in dependence by the males (of) their families, and, if they attach themselves to sensual enjoyments, they must be kept under one’s control.
9-3. Her father protects her in childhood, her husband protects her in youth, and her sons protect her in old age; a woman is never left without support.
4. Reprehensible is the father who gives not his daughter in marriage at the proper time; reprehensible is the husband who approaches not his wife in due season, and reprehensible is the son who does not protect his mother after her husband has died.
5. Women must particularly be guarded against evil inclinations, however trifling they may appear; for, if they are not guarded, they will bring sorrow on two families.
6. Considering that the highest duty of all castes, even weak husbands must strive to guard their wives.
7. He who carefully guards his wife, preserves the purity of his offspring, virtuous conduct, his family, himself, and his means of acquiring merit.

9-8. The husband, after conception by his wife, becomes an embryo and is born again of her; for that is the wifehood of a wife (jaya), that he is born (jayate) again by her.
9. As the male is to whom a wife cleaves, even so is the son whom she brings forth; let him therefore carefully guard his wife, in order to keep his offspring pure.
10. No man can completely guard women by force; but they can be guarded by the employment of the following expedients:
11. Let the husband) employ his wife in the collection and expenditure of his wealth, in keeping everything clean, in the fulfilment of religious duties, in the preparation of his food, and in looking after the household utensils.
9-12. Women, confined in the house under trustworthy and obedient servants, are not well guarded; but those who of their own accord keep guard over themselves, are well guarded. (Tirukkural 56 in Tamil say the same)
Six causes for women’s ruin
13. Drinking (spirituous liquor), associating with wicked people, separation from the husband, rambling abroad, sleeping (at unseasonable hours), and dwelling in other men’s houses, are the six causes of the ruin of women.
14. Women do not care for beauty, nor is their attention fixed on age; thinking), ‘It is enough that he is a man,’ they give themselves to the handsome and to the ugly.(LOVE IS BLIND)

9-26. Between wives (striyah) who are destined to bear children, who secure many blessings, who are worthy of worship and irradiate their dwellings, and between the goddesses of fortune (sriyah, who reside) in the houses of men, there is no difference whatsoever.

15சதவீதம் சரிவை கண்ட ஹிந்து மக்கள் தொகை: சம்பல் வன்முறை விசாரணை அறிக்கையில் அதிர்ச்சி
சுதந்திரத்திற்கு பின்னர் உத்தரபிரதேச மாநிலம் சம்பலில் ஹிந்து மக்கள் தொகை, 15 சதவீதம் சரிவை கண்டுள்ளதாக, 2024- சம்பல் வன்முறை குறித்த குழு அறிக்கையில் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
சம்பல் வன்முறையை விசாரிக்க, ஓய்வுபெற்ற உயர் நீதிமன்ற நீதிபதி தேவேந்திர அரோரா தலைமையில், முன்னாள் ஐபிஎஸ் அதிகாரிகள் ஏ.கே. ஜெயின் மற்றும் அமித் பிரசாத் உறுப்பினர்களாக மூன்று பேர் கொண்ட குழு அமைக்கப்பட்டது.
இந்த விசாரணைக்குழு, தனது அறிக்கையை உத்தரப் பிரதேச முதல்வர் யோகி ஆதித்யநாத்திடம் சமர்ப்பித்துள்ளது. 450 பக்கங்களைக் கொண்ட இந்த அறிக்கை, நவம்பர் 24, 2024 மோதல்களை மட்டுமல்ல, சம்பலில் நடந்த கலவரங்களின் வரலாறு, சுதந்திரத்திற்குப் பிறகு ஏற்பட்ட மக்கள்தொகை மாற்றங்கள் மற்றும் வகுப்புவாத அரசியலின் பங்கு ஆகியவற்றையும் உள்ளடக்கி குறிப்பிடப்பட்டிருந்தது.
விசாரணைக்குழு அறிக்கையில் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளதாவது:
1947 முதல் இப்பகுதியில் ஹிந்து மக்கள் தொகையில் குறிப்பிடத்தக்க மாற்றம் ஏற்பட்டுள்ளது. சுதந்திரத்தின் போது, சம்பல் நகராட்சிப் பகுதியில் ஹிந்துக்கள் 45 சதவீதம் பேர் இருந்தனர். அது தற்போது15 லிருந்து 20 சதவீதமாக சரிந்துள்ளது. சுதந்திரத்தின்போது, 55 சதவீதமாக இருந்த முஸ்லிம்கள், தற்போது 85 சதவீதம் பேர் உள்ளனர்.
1947 முதல் சம்பல் 15 கலவரங்களைக் கண்டுள்ளது,
சம்பலில் ஒரு காலத்தில் 68 புனித யாத்திரைத் தலங்களும் 19 புனித கிணறுகளும் இருந்ததாகவும், அவற்றில் பல காலப்போக்கில் ஆக்கிரமிக்கப்பட்டது.
யோகி ஆதித்யநாத் தலைமையிலான அரசாங்கம் அவற்றை மீண்டும் கட்டுவதற்கான திட்டத்தைத் தொடங்கியுள்ளது.

பெரிய கோயில்களில் தேவஸ்தானங்களை அமைப்பது குறித்து யோசிக்க வேண்டிய தருணம் – சென்னை உயர் நீதிமன்றம் அறிவுறுத்தல்!
தமிழகத்தில் உள்ள பெரிய கோயில்களில் தேவஸ்தானங்களை அமைப்பது குறித்து யோசிக்க வேண்டிய தருணம் இது என இந்து சமய அறநிலையத்துறைக்கு சென்னை உயர்நீதிமன்றம் அறிவுறுத்தியுள்ளது.
கடந்த 2023-ம் ஆண்டு திருவண்ணாமலை அருணாச்சலேஸ்வரர் கோயிலின் கோபுரம் முன்பு, 6 கோடி ரூபாய் செலவில் வணிக வளாகம் கட்ட அறநிலையத் துறை அனுமதியளித்து அரசாணை பிறப்பிக்கப்பட்டது.
இதனை எதிர்த்து உயர்நீதிமன்றத்தில் தொடரப்பட்ட வழக்குகளில், வணிகவளாகம் கட்டும் பணிகள் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட போவதில்லை என அறநிலையத்துறை ஏற்கனவே உத்தரவாதம் அளித்திருந்தது.
இந்த வழக்கு விசாரணையில், திருவண்ணாமலை ராஜகோபுரம் முன் பக்தர்களுக்கு வசதிகளை ஏற்படுத்துவது குறித்த மாற்றுத் திட்டத்தின் அறிக்கையை தாக்கல் செய்ய அவகாசம் வழங்க வேண்டும் என அறநிலையத்துறை தரப்பில் கோரிக்கை விடுக்கப்பட்டது.
இதனை ஏற்று 2 வாரங்கள் அவகாசம் வழங்கிய நீதிபதிகள், கோயிலுக்கு அருகே அரசு புறம்போக்கு நிலமாகவே இருந்தாலும் எந்த கட்டுமானங்களும் மேற்கொள்ள அனுமதிக்க முடியாது என திட்டவட்டமாக மறுப்பு தெரிவித்தனர்.
மேலும், தமிழகத்தில் உள்ள பெரிய கோயில்களில் தேவஸ்தானங்களை அமைப்பது குறித்து யோசிக்க வேண்டிய தருணம் இது என இந்து சமய அறநிலையத்துறைக்கு அறிவுறித்திய நீதிபதிகள், வழக்கு விசாரணையை வரும் செப்டம்பர் 11ம் தேதிக்கு தள்ளிவைத்தனர்.

மதுரை : பழனி தண்டாயுதபாணி கோவில் நிதியில் இருந்து திருமண மண்டபம் கட்டும் தமிழக அரசின் அரசாணையை ரத்து செய்த ஐகோர்ட் கிளையின் உத்தரவை சுட்டிக்காட்டி, ‘கோவில் நிதியை, அரசு நிதியாக கருத முடியாது. அந் நிதியை மத நடவடிக்கைகளுக்கு மட்டுமே பயன்படுத்த வேண்டும். கோவில்களுக்கு சொந்தமான நிதியிலிருந்து திருமண மண்டபங்கள், வணிக வளாகங்கள், கல்வி நிறுவனங்கள் என, பொதுப் பயன்பாட்டுக்கான கட்டடங்களை அமைக்கும் தமிழக அறநிலையத்துறையின் அறிவிப்பு ரத்து செய்யப்படுகிறது’ என, உயர் நீதிமன்ற மதுரை கிளை உத்தரவிட்டது.

கோவில்களுக்கு சொந்தமான நிதியிலிருந்து திருமண மண்டபங்கள், வணிக வளாகங்கள், கல்வி நிறுவனங்கள் அமைக்க அறநிலையத்துறை, 2021 – 2022ல் அறிவிப்பு வெளியிட்டது; இது அறநிலையத்துறை சட்டத்திற்கு புறம்பானது.
கோவில் நிதியை, ஹிந்து மத கொள்கைகளை பரப்புதல், அர்ச் சகர், ஓதுவார் பள்ளிகளை நிறுவுதல், ஹிந்து மதம், தத்துவம் அல்லது சாஸ்திரங்கள் ஆய்வு அல்லது கோவில் கட்டடக்கலை பயிற்றுவிக்கும் பல்கலை, கல்லுாரியை நிறுவுதல், ஹிந்து குழந்தைகளுக்கான ஆதரவற்றோர் இல்லங்கள், பக்தர்களின் நலனுக்கான மருத்துவமனைகள், மருந்தகங்கள் நிறுவ பயன்படுத்த வேண்டும்.

பக்தர்கள் மற்றும் நன்கொடையாளர்களிடமிருந்து கோவில்களுக்கு நிதி வசூலிக்கப்படுகிறது. மத நோக்கங்களுக்காக அல்லது திருவிழாக்கள் நடத்த அல்லது கோவில்களின் பராமரிப்பு மற்றும் மேம்பாட்டிற்காக நன்கொடை வழங்கப்படுகிறது.
கோவில் நிதியை பொது அல்லது அரசு நிதியாக கருத முடியாது. அதை பொது நோக்கங்களுக்காக அரசின் நிதியாக பயன்படுத்த முடியாது.

.குருவாயூர் கிருஷ்ணர் கோவில் உலகம் முழுவதும் புகழ்பெற்றது. ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் கோடிக்கணக்கான பக்தர்கள் வந்து வழிபட்டு செல்கின்றனர்.
இந்தக் கோவில் புனித குளத்தில் கடந்த சில நாட்களுக்கு முன் ஜாஸ்மின் ஜாபர் என்ற இளம் பெண் ரீல்ஸ் பதிவு செய்து வெளியிட்டார்.சோசியல் மீடியா பிரபலமான அந்தப் பெண் பிக் பாஸ் நிகழ்ச்சியிலும் பங்கேற்றவர். குருவாயூர் கோவிலில் ஹிந்து அல்லாத பிற மதத்தவர்களுக்கு அனுமதி கிடையாது.
அப்படி இருந்தும் ஜாஸ்மின் ஜாஃபர் ரீல்ஸ் பதிவு செய்து வெளியிட்டது பக்தர்கள் மத்தியில் பெரும் கொந்தளிப்பை ஏற்படுத்தியது.
இதையடுத்து கோவில் நிர்வாகம் சார்பில் கோவிலில் வெவ்வேறு வகையான பரிகார பூஜைகள் நடந்து வருகின்றன. இதனால் மதியம் வரை பக்தர்கள் யாரும் அனுமதிக்கப்படவில்லை. ஆறு நாட்களுக்கு இந்த பூஜை தொடரும் என்று கோவில் நிர்வாகம் சார்பில் அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. பரிகார பூஜை நடக்கும் நேரத்தில் பக்தர்களுக்கு அனுமதி இல்லை என்றும், பக்தர்கள் அனைவரும் ஒத்துழைப்பு தர வேண்டும் என்றும் கோவில் நிர்வாகம் வேண்டுகோள் விடுத்துள்ளது.

கேரளாவில் மார்க்சிஸ்ட் கம்யூனிஸ்ட் கட்சியைச் சேர்ந்த முதல்வர் பினராயி விஜயன் தலைமையில் இடது ஜனநாயக முன்னணி கூட்டணி ஆட்சி நடக்கிறது.
,அடுத்த மாதம் 20ல் கேரளாவின் பம்பையில் உலக அய்யப்ப பக்தர்கள் சங்கமம் நிகழ்ச்சி நடக்கிறது. இந்நிகழ்ச்சியை கேரள முதல்வர் பினராயி விஜயன் துவங்கி வைக்கிறார்.
‘இந்த விழாவில் பங்கேற்க அண்டை மாநிலங்களை சேர்ந்த முதல்வர்களுக்கும் அழைப்பு விடுக்கப்படும்’ என தேவசம் போர்டு அமைச்சர் வாசவன், கடந்த 21ல் தெரிவித்திருந்தார்.
இதையொட்டி, சென்னை வந்த கேரள தேவசம் போர்டு அமைச்சர் வாசவன், தமிழக முதல்வர் ஸ்டாலினை சந்தித்து அய்யப்ப சங்கம விழாவில் பங்கேற்க அழைப்பு விடுத்தார்.

1 லட்சம் ஏக்கர் கோவில் சொத்துகளை இழந்துள்ளோம்: அண்ணாமலை
”1986 ஆம் ஆண்டிலிருந்து இப் போது வரை 1 லட்சம் ஏக்கர் கோவில் சொத்துக்களை நாம் இழந்துள்ளோம். திருச்செந்தூரில் கோவிலுக்கு கொடுத்த 16 ஆயிரம் மாடுகளைக் காணவில்லை,” என தமிழக பாரதீய ஜனதாக கட்சி முன்னாள் தலைவர் அண்ணாமலை கூறியுள்ளார்.
மேட்டுப்பாளையத்தில் ஹிந்து முன்னணி சார்பில் விநாயகர் சதுர்த்தி விழா பொதுக் கூட்டம் நடைபெற்றது. விழாவில் அண்ணாமலை பேசியதாவது:
விநாயகர் சிலையை உடைத்தவர்கள் ஆட்சியில் இருக்கிறார்கள். விநாயகர் சதுர்த்தி விழாவில் சாதி பார்ப்பது கிடையாது. பணக்காரன் பார்ப்பது கிடையாது. அனைவரையும் ஒருங்கிணைக்கும் விழாவாக உள்ளது.
வரும் செப்டம்பர் மாதம் கேரள மாநிலம் பம்பாவில் அனைத்துலக ஐயப்பன் மகாநாட்டினை கம்யூனிஸ்ட் அரசு நடத்துகிறது. அதற்கு முதல்வர் ஸ்டாலின் சிறப்பு விருந்தினர். அவரை கேரளாவில் கால் வைக்க விட மாட்டோம் என்றோம். உடனே ஒரு அரசு விழாவை ஏற்பாடு செய்து எனக்கு பதிலாக அமைச்சர் தியாகராஜன் கலந்து கொள்வார் என ஸ்டாலின் சொல்கிறார்.
4.78 லட்சம் ஏக்கர் கோவில் சொத்தினால் வரக்கூடிய வருமானம் குறித்து தமிழக அரசு தெரிவிக்க வேண்டும் ஹிந்து அறநிலைத்துறை இதுவரை சி.ஏ.ஜி.க்கு எந்த ஆவணமும் கொடுக்கவில்லை. ஆய்வு நடத்தப்படவில்லை. கோவில்களில் தங்கம் எவ்வுளவு உள்ளது போன்ற சொத்துக்களின் விவரங்களை யும் மக்களுக்கு தெரிவிக்க வேண்டும். என்று அண்ணாமலை கூறினார்.

சென்னை கொளத்தூரில் பித்தளைத் தட்டுகள் மூலம் செய்யப்ப்டட விநாயகர் சிலைக்கு பூஜை நடத்தப்பட்டது.
2 ஆயிரத்து 300 பித்தளைத் தட்டுகள், ஆயிரத்து 500 குங்கும சிமிழ்கள் மூலம் பிரம்மாண்டமாக உருவாக்கப்பட்ட 42 அடி விநாயகர்ச் சிலை வைக்கப்பட்டுப் பூஜை செய்யப்பட்டது.

ஆலயம் அறிவோம் தொடரில் இன்று நமது யாத்திரையில் இடம்
பெறுவது திவ்வியத் திருத்தலமான திருப்பெருந்துறை தலமாகும்.
இன்று இது ஆவுடையார் கோவில் என்று வழங்கப் பெற்று வருகிறது. இத்திருத்தலம் மயிலாடுதுறை – காரைக்குடி புகைவண்டிப் பாதையில் அறந்தாங்கிக்குத் தென்கிழக்கில் பதினைந்து கிலோமீட்டர் தொலைவில் இருக்கிறது.
இதற்கு அநாதி மூர்த்தித் தலம், ஆதிகைலாயம், உபதேசத் தலம், குருந்தவனம், சதுர்வேதபுரம், ஞானபுரம், திரிமூர்த்திபுரம், தட்சிண கைலாயபுரம் உள்ளிட்ட பல பெயர்கள் உண்டு. இத்தலத்தை திருவாசகம், சிவபுரம் என்று குறிப்பிடுகிறது.

தல விருக்ஷம் : குருந்த மரம். வெளி மதிலை ஒட்டினால் போல அமைந்த திருமாளிகைப் பகுதியில் இரண்டு குருந்த மரங்கள் உள்ளன.
தீர்த்தம் : சிவ தீர்த்தம், அக்னி தீர்த்தம்,தேவ தீர்த்தம், முனிவர் தீர்த்தம், அசுர தீர்த்தம், வாயு தீர்த்தம், சிவகங்கை தீர்த்தம், நாராயண தீர்த்தம், பிரம தீர்த்தம், அறுபத்துநான்கு கோடி தீர்த்தம், வெள்ளாறு, திருத்தொட்டி தீர்த்தம், உள்ளிட்டவையாகும்.
இந்தத் திருக்கோவிலில் பல தனிச் சிறப்புகள் உள்ளன. இங்கு உருவம் இல்லை. கொடி மரம் இல்லை. பலி பீடம் இல்லை. நந்தி இல்லை. சண்டேசர் சந்நிதியும் இல்லை.
இங்கு தீப ஆராதனை சமயத்தில் மற்ற கோவில்கள் போலத் தொட்டு வணங்கும் பழக்கமும் இல்லை. மணிவாசகர் ஜோதியில் கலந்துள்ளார் என்பதால் இந்தப் பழக்கம் இங்கு இல்லை.
இங்கு மூலஸ்தானத்தில் அமுது மண்டபத்தில் ‘படை கல்’ என்னும் ஒரு திட்டுக்கல் உள்ளது. இதன் உயரம் 3 அடி. நீளம் 7 அடி. அகலம் 6 அடி ஆகும். இது ஒரே பாறைக்கல்லால் ஆனது. இங்கு தான் ஆறு கால பூஜைக்கும் உரித்தான அமுதை படைத்து வடித்து ஆற வைக்கின்றனர்.
மற்ற ஆலயங்கள் போல பச்சை அரிசி அல்லாமல் இங்கு புழுங்கல் அரிசியே நைவேத்தியம் செய்யப்படுகிறது. ஆறு கால பூஜைக்கும் தொடர்ந்து நைவேத்திய அமுது படைத்துக் கொண்டே இருப்பதால் இங்குள்ள அடுப்பு அணைந்ததே இல்லை.
இத்திருத்தலத்தைப் பற்றி ஏராளமான புராண வரலாறுகள் உண்டு.
சிவபிரான் மஹாவிஷ்ணுவிற்கு ‘வேதம் நானே’ என்று உபதேசித்த தலம் இது.
அகத்திய முனிவர் உள்ளிட்ட ஏராளமான முனிவர்கள் போற்றி வணங்கிய தலம் இது.
மணிவாசகருக்கு அருள் புரிந்த திருவிளையாடலாலும், சிற்ப வேலைப்பாடுகளாலும் மிகவும் பிரசித்தி பெற்ற தலம் இது.
ஶ்ரீ ஆத்மநாதரின் திருக்கோவில் தெற்கு நோக்கி உள்ளது. உள்ளே மூன்று பிரகாரங்கள் உள்ளன. இறைவன் உருவம் இல்லாமல் அருவமாகவே எழுந்தருளியிருக்கிறார்.
ராஜகோபுரம் ஏழு நிலைக் கோபுரமாக அமைந்துள்ளது.
இங்கு ராஜகோபுர வாயிலுக்கு வெளியே அதனை ஒட்டினாற் போல ஆயிரங்கால் மண்டபம் உள்ளது. இதன் தெற்கு முகப்புத் தூண்களில் நரசிம்மர், காளி, ஊர்த்வ தாண்டவர், பிட்சாடனர், வேலேந்திய முருகன், ரிஷபாந்தகர், சங்கரநாராயணர் ஆகிய ஏழு சிற்பங்கள் உள்ளன. மண்டபத்தின் தெற்கில் உள்ள இரண்டு பெரிய தூண்களில் அகோர வீரபத்திரர், அக்கினி வீரபத்திரர் சிற்பங்கள் உள்ளன. வடக்கில் துவாரபாலகர் சிலைகளும், மற்றுமுள்ள நான்கு தூண்களில் நான்கு குதிரை வீரர்களின் சிற்பங்களும் உள்ளன.
மூன்றாம் பிரகாரத்தில் நான்கு கால் மண்டபத்தில் வெயிலுகந்த விநாயகர் எழுந்தருளியுள்ளார். இவரை முதலில் வணங்கிய பிறகே கோவிலுக்குள் சென்று வழிபட வேண்டும் என்பது மரபாகும்.
இங்குள்ள தியாகராஜ மண்டபம், ஊஞ்சல் மண்டபம், வசந்த மண்டபம், பஞ்சாட்சர மண்டபம் ஆகியவை பல்வேறு சிறப்புகளைக் கொண்டுள்ளன.
மூன்றாம் பிரகாரத்தில் மணிவாசகரின் மூலவர் கோவில் உள்ளது.
இன்னும் தில்லை மண்டபம், சுந்தரபாண்டியன் மண்டபம் ஆகிய மண்டபங்களையும் இங்கு காணலாம்.
தில்லை மண்டபத்தை அடுத்து முதல் பிரகாரத்தின் மத்தியில் ஆத்மநாதரின் மூலக்கோவில் உள்ளது. கர்பகிருஹத்தில் ஆவுடையார் பீடம் அமைந்துள்ளது. ஆவுடையாருக்குப் பின்புறச் சுவரில் 27 நட்சத்திர தீபங்களும் அதற்கு மேல் சூரிய, சந்திர, அக்கினி ஆகிய மூன்று தீபங்களும் சுடர்விடுகின்றன.
ஆத்மநாதரின் கர்பகிருஹத்திற்கு வடமேற்கில் முதல் பிரகாரத்தில் ஶ்ரீ யோகாம்பிகை அம்மனின் சந்நிதி உள்ளது. இங்கு அம்மனின் யோகபீடமும் அதன் மேல் அம்பிகையின் பாதங்களும் உள்ளன. அம்பிக்கைக்குத் திருவுருவம் இங்கு கிடையாது.
இந்தக் கோவிலை பூத கணங்கள் கட்டின என்பது ஐதீகம். கோயிலின் தாழ்வாரத்தில் உள்ள கொடுங்கைகள், சிற்ப அற்புதமாகும். ஒரே கல்லினால் ஆன கற்சங்கிலி காண்போரை வியக்க வைக்கும் சிற்பப் படைப்பாகும்.
இதர ஆலயங்களை அமைக்க வரும் பின்காலத்திய சிற்பிகள் ஆவுடையார் கோவில் சிற்பம் தவிர மற்றவற்றைத் தாங்கள் அமைப்பதாக உறுதி கூறியதிலிருந்தே ஆவுடையார் கோவில் சிற்பகளின் சிறப்பை உணரலாம்.
மாணிக்கவாசகர் பாண்டிய நாட்டில் ஒன்பதாம் நூற்றாண்டில் திருவாதவூரில் அவதரித்த சைவ சமயக் குரவர் ஆவார். பாண்டிய மன்னன் இரண்டான் வரகுண பாண்டியனின் முதல் அமைச்சராக அவர் பணி புரிந்து வந்தார்.
ஒரு சமயம் நல்ல குதிரைகள் கீழைக் கடற்கரைக்கு வந்துள்ளதை அறிந்த பாண்டிய மன்னன் மாணிக்கவாசகரிடம், ‘நமது பொக்கிஷத்திலிருந்து வேண்டும் பொருளை எடுத்துக் கொண்டு சென்று குதிரைகளை வாங்கி வாருங்கள்” என ஆணையிட்டான்.
மாணிக்கவாசகரும் நிறையப் பொருளை எடுத்துக் கொண்டு புறப்பட்டார். திருப்பெருந்துறை தலம் வந்தவுடனேயே அவர் சிவபெருமானால் ஆட்கொள்ளப்பட்டார். அங்கேயே தங்கி சிவத்தொண்டில் ஈடுபட்டு கொண்டு கையில் கொண்டு வந்திருந்த பொருளை எல்லாம் திருப்பணியில் செலவிட்டார். இதை அறிந்த மன்னன் உடனே அவரை வருமாறு அழைத்து அவரிடம் ‘குதிரைகள் எங்கே’ என்று கேட்க, ‘ஆவணி மூல நாளில் வரும்’ என்று பதில் உரைத்தார் மாணிக்கவாசகர்.
இறைவன் திருவிளையாடலால் நரிகள் எல்லாம் பரிகளாக மாற்றப்பட்டு அரசனிடம் காண்பிக்கப்பட்டன. ஆனால் நடுநிசியில் குதிரைகள் நரிகளாக மாற மன்னன் மாணிக்கவாசகரை சுடுகின்ற வெயிலில் நிறுத்தினான்.
அப்போது உடனே வைகை ஆற்றில் பெருவெள்ளம் தோன்றியது. ஆற்றின் கரையை அடைக்க மன்னன் அனைவரையும் வருமாறு அழைக்கவே சிவபிரான் பிட்டுக்கு மண் சுமந்த லீலையை நடத்தினார். கூலியாளாக வந்த சிவபிரான் உறங்குவதைக் கண்ட மன்னன் அவரை பிரம்பால் அடிக்க அது உலகில் வாழும் அனைவரின் மீதும் பட்டது. அப்போது வானிலிருந்து எழுந்த அசரீரி ஒலி இறைவனது திருவிளையாடலை உணர்த்த பாண்டிய மன்னன் மாணிக்கவாசகரின் பெருமையை உணர்ந்தான்.
அவரும் இறைவனின் திருவிளையாடலை எண்ணி மகிழ்ந்து போற்றி இறைப்பணியில் ஈடுபடலானார்.
மாணிக்கவாசகப் பெருமான் அருளிய திருவாசகத்துள் 51 பகுதிகள் உள்ளன. அவற்றில் 20 பகுதிகள் இந்தத் தலத்திலிருந்தே அருளிச் செய்யப்பட்டவையாகும். இந்தத் தலத்தில் அருணகிரிநாதர் மூன்று திருப்புகழ் பாடல்களைப் பாடி அருளியுள்ளார். ஶ்ரீ சாத்திரம் சாமிநாதப் புலவர் என்பவர் 1270 செய்யுள்கள் அடங்கிய திருப்பெருந்துறைப் புராணத்தை இயற்றியுள்ளார்,
காலம் காலமாக ஆயிரக்கணக்கான பக்தர்களுக்கு அருள்பாலித்து அருளும் ஶ்ரீ ஆத்மநாதரும் ஶ்ரீ யோகாம்பிகையும் அனைவருக்கும் சர்வ மங்களத்தைத் தர ஞானமயம் சார்பில் பிரார்த்திக்கிறோம்.

எல்லாமே எர்த் ஆர்பிட் எனப்படும் பூமியின் சுற்றுப்பாதையில் சுழலவில்லை. சில சந்திரனுக்கும், சூரியனுக்கும், எரிநட்சத்திரங்களுக்கும் இதர கிரகங்களுக்கும் சென்று கொண்டிருக்கின்றன.

இதற்கான காரணம் க்யூப்சாட்ஸ் என்னும் மிக குட்டி சாடலைட்டுகள் மற்றும் சிறிய சாடலைட்டுகள் தயாரிக்கப்பட்டதால் தான்.
முதல் முதலாக ஸ்புட்னிக் விண்ணில் ஏவப்படும் போது அதன் எடை 183, 9 பவுண்டாக இருந்தது. ஆனால் தொழில்நுட்பம் மேம்பட்டு விட்டதால் இப்போது 100 மிலிமீட்டர் அதாவது நான்கு அங்குல அளவில் கூட க்யூப்சாட் எனப்படும் சாடலைட்டுகள் உருவாக்கப்படுகின்றன. எடையோ வெறும் 4.4 பவுண்டுகள் தான்!

அணங்கு என்ற சொல் சங்க இலக்கியத்தில் எண்ணற்று இடங்களில் வருகிறது ; கடல், மலை, நீர் நிலைகள், இசைக்கருவிகள் முதலியவற்றில் வருத்தத்தைத் தரக்கூடிய அணங்குகள் வசிப்பதாக சங்கத் தமிழர்கள் நம்பினார்கள் . இவர்களை தேவ லோக நங்கைகளுடன்தான் ஒப்பிட முடியும்

அங்க என்பது நங்கை, அணங்கு என்றும் மாறி இருக்கலாம்

உலகின் அரிய கடல் வாழ் உயிரினமான நீலத் திமிங்கிலத்தின் பாடல் ஓசை குறைந்து கொண்டே வருகிறது. திடுக்கிட வைக்கும் இந்த உண்மையைக் கூறும் விஞ்ஞானிகள் உடனடியாக இந்த உயிரினத்தைக் காப்பாற்ற தக்க நடவடிக்கைகளை எடுக்க வேண்டும் என்று எச்சரித்துள்ளனர்.
உலகளாவிய விதத்தில் சுமார் 25000 நீலத் திமிங்கிலங்கள் வாழ்கின்றன என்று இண்டர்நேஷனல் யூனியன் ஃபார் கன்ஸர்வேஷன் ஆஃப் நேச்சரின் அறிக்கை கூறுகிறது.
திமிங்கிலத்தின் எண்ணெய்க்காக அவற்றைக் கொல்வது கடந்த நூறாண்டுகளில் அளவுக்கு அதிகமானது. சுமார் 3,80,000 திமிங்கிலங்கள் இதற்காகக் கொல்லப்பட்டன என்பது திடுக்கிட வைக்கும் ஒரு உண்மை.

இதன் ஓசை தான் உலக விலங்கு வகைகளிலேயே அதிக ஓசை ஆகும். அதாவது 188 டெசிபல் என்ற அளவில் இருக்கும். நீருக்கடியில் எழுப்பும் இந்த ஓசையை மனிதன் கேட்க முடியாது. ஒரு ஜெட் எஞ்ஜின் எழுப்பும் சத்தமாகும் இது. லோ ப்ரீக்வென்சி எனப்படும் குறைந்த அதிர்வெண் ஓசை என்பதால் 1600 கிலோமீட்டர் வரை இது கேட்கும்.. அதன் இதயம் ஒரு காரின் அளவு போல இருக்கும், அதன் இதயத் துடிப்பை இரண்டு மைலுக்கு அப்பால் இருந்தும் கேட்கலாம்.
நீலத் திமிங்கிலத்தின் பாடல் ஓசை மிகவும் பிரபலமான ஒன்று ஆனால் இந்த ஓசை இப்போது அருகி விட்டதால் விஞ்ஞானிகள் பெரிதும் கவலைப்படுகின்றனர்.
