Sayanam = sleeping position or slanted position
In Tamil also saay is slanted; also used for sleeping.
I was very tired. So oru arai mani neram thalaiyaich saaiththen.
This proves Tami l and Sanskrit have common roots.
சயனம் = தமிழ் சாய்; அவனும் களைப்பில் ஒரு பத்து நிமிஷம் தலையாகி சாய்த்தான்

Indra means leader. Foreigners mislead the world by translating Indra with capital I to show that it is the name of one person. That is wrong. Even at Paninis time Indra was used as suffix
Earlier one commentator showed கவீந்திர, கவேந்திர
Kaveendra. Under this sutra Gavendra is given. That means leader of the cows
In Tamil Nadu Rajendran, Mahendran, upendran are common names
இந்திரன்= தலைவன்; ராஜேந்திரன், மகேந்திரன், கஜேந்திரன்; ககேந்திரன்

We saw that
Sutra, is used for books and thread in both the languages.
In the same way Patha, paatha mean foot, feet in both these languages. In verses every line or syllable is called patha in Sanskrit and In tamil is Adi;
Patha = foot = Adi; used பத =அடி
செய்யுளிலும் நடப்பதிலு ம் பயன்படுகிறது
Both in walking and writing.

Coriander, in Tami l it is koththamalli.
Panini used Kustum buru for coriander. It is in Latin. It is closer to Tamil
கொத்தமல்லி என்ற சொல் குஸ்தாம்புரு என்ற சொல்லுடன் தொடர்புடையது.
குஸ்தாம்புரு — க்கு சம்ஸ்க்ருத மூலம் எதுவும் இல்லை

Aaspatham ஆஸ்பதம் , அஸ்பத்திரி
Meaning is Place to stay, place to reside, higher place.
After reading the meaning, I wonder whether Hospital and Tamil word Aaspaththiri for Hospital came from this. But I am not sure at the moment. Hospice is another word.

Here Panini Sutra is dealing with two words
Ascharya = wonder
Anithya = that which is not permanent, impermanence
ஆஸ்சர்யம் , அநித்யம்
வாழ்க்கை அநித்யமானது. இது மிகவும் ஆச்சர்யமானது
Both these words are in current use. Even Tamils use Aascharyam in daily newspapers and conversations.

In Sangam literature it was Uusal
Today both uusal and Unjal are used for swinging.
