· India exports most of it’s Eclipta to Netherlands, United States and Franceand is the largest exporter of Eclipta in the World.
· The top 3 exporters of Eclipta are India with 830 shipments followed by China with 47 and United States at the 3rd spot with 38 shipments.

Eclipta Prostrata எக்லிப்டா ப்ராஸ்ட்ரேட்டா அல்லது Eclipta Alba ஆகிய இரண்டு வகைகளையும் இதே பெயரில் அழைக்கின்றனர். சம்ஸ்க்கிருத்தத்தில் பிருங்கிராஜ் என்று சொல்கிறார்கள் கரிசல், பிருங்கிராஜ், கரப்பான், கைகேசி என்று இதற்கு பல பெயர்கள் .
இது Asteraceae ஆஸ்டிரேசி குடும்பத்தைச் சேர்ந்த தாவரம்.
தமிழ் நாட்டுவைத்தியத்திலும் ஆயுர்வேத யுனானி வைத்தியத்திலும் கரிசலாங்கண்ணியை உபயோகிக்கிறார்கள் .

Eclipta alba (Bhringaraja) having important role in the traditional Ayurvedic and Unani systems of holistic health and herbal medicine of the east. The principal constituents of Eclipta alba are coumestan derivatives like wedololactone[1.6%], demethylwedelolactone, desmethyl-wedelolactone-7glucoside and other constituents are ecliptal, β-amyrin, luteolin-7-O-glucoside, hentriacontanol, heptacosanol, stigmasterol.

A group of study participants took two capsules containing 500 milligrams (mg) of bhringraj leaf powder by mouth three times daily for 60 days.
Results from the trial suggested that bhringraj may act as a diuretic (water pill), lowering blood pressure in mildly hypertensive adults (people with mild high blood pressure) assigned male at birth between 45 to 55 years old
