In the past 200 years a lot of books and articles were written comparing the Hindu Gods with Greek gods and other gods in Rome (Italy). But no one has mentioned the time gap between them. In fact, there is a big gap. Professor Wilson, Max Muller’s guru, dated Rig Veda 2000 BCE. Max Muller said 1200 BCE and after a backlash said Rig Veda may be 5000 year old or more than that and nobody could date it. But Baba Research centre (BARC) and NASA did reveal the secrets of mysterious disappearance of the Great Sarasvati River of Rig Veda which confirmed it was a pre Indus Valley Civilisation one.
So, one must tell the date of each God when they compare two different Gods from two different cultures. The whole world agree that the Greeks had their first literature from 800 BCE only. We know the date of Homer’s Iliad and Odyssey. Except some portions in Old Testament of the Bible, there is nothing nearer to Vedic civilisation. There is a gap of 1200 years between the Vedic and Greek Gods. Apart from Greek literature we have some fragments from old Greek Mycenaean and Minoan civilizations. Even those fragments disappeared into mist because of the discovery of Vedic Sanskrit names in Cuneiform tablets dated 1400 BCE in Turkey. Around the same time, we have Dasaratha (Amarna) letters in Egypt. This archaeological evidence was the final nail in the coffin of Max Muller gang. Asko Parpola, famous Indus Civilization researcher, has shown us that the names of Vedic Gods in Mitanni Civilization of 1400 BCE inscription in the same order as in Rig Veda. It shows that the Rig Veda was in the Middle East and Egypt in and around 1500 BCE. Further evidence came from Kikkuli’s Horse manual with Sanskrit numbers from the same period.
Hittite and Kassite cultures (1800 BCE) have a very few Sanskrit words .
Nicholas Kazanas from Athens, Greece , after quoting from all the latest books in this field , say that Hindus migrated from Sapta Sindhu (modern Punjab in India and Pakistan) to different parts of the world. Parsees/Zoroastrians also confirmed that they were in Sapta Sindhu and Aryana (modern Haryana) before coming to Iran/Persia.
Kanchi Paramacharya (1894-1994) also has spoken about it and said in one of his lectures that Zoroastra is the corrupted form of Saurashtra. This is also proved correct from the fact that they came back to Gujarat when Muslims occupied Iran in eighth century CE.

Agnis in Hittite (Ht), Ignis in Latin (L).Note : Even the Iranians who had Fire Worship did not preserve this name, not even as a demon like Indra, Sauru etc. though the stem appears in the name Dastayni.
My comment: This is a very important point. Rig Veda begins with the word Agni and finish with this. When Zend Avesta portrayed Indra as a demon, they did not even know the word Agni! By this and other linguistic evidence we know that Avestan language and Zend Avesta came later than Rig Veda.
Aryaman

My comment: All these appear very late; there is more than 1000-year gap from the Rig Veda.
It is strange that it is not in Avestan which is closer to Sanskrit than any other language in the world.

My comments: Asvins are twins. Note there is no linguistic affinity. Moreover, Rig Veda call them Nasatya as well; also we have separate names for the two Gods . In the above comparisons they ride horses but not twins. So ,I reject it.

My Comment: Max Muller gang used this minor god out of proportion and claimed that Aryans are Germans. Lter Hitler used this in his book and killed Jews, Non Aryans.

My comment: English name Andrew, Sangam Tamil Name Ay Andiran= Ajendran are derived from Indra. Till this day Indra is used in baby names around the world.

It is a very important Vedic deity. No Greek or Avestan comparison!
Manu
Mannus (Germanic/Gm) ; father of the Germanic people.
My comments
This word exists as Man in English, Manithan in Tamil, but no comparison from other languages. At least five different Manus are referred to in the Rig Veda. Later Hindu scriptures mentioned 14 Manus. None of them is found in any other ancient language)
When we see such names referred in one community in one part of the world, we can guess the migrants retained one or two words.
With only two Tamil words (Onnu, Munu=1,3) in Brahui language the idiots are still saying they were Dravidians; and the language is not ancient; they use more Sanskrit words . If we accept those idiots’ argument then I can claim English are Tamils because they also have two Tamil numerals One, Eight (Onnu, Ettu, 1, 8)!
As a matter of fact over one thousand Tamil words are in English ( I have published the list in this blog)
Mitra
Mithra (Av), Mitra (Gk) but not God’s name; in Rome we have Mitra cult later ; that God is different from Vedic Mitra; in the Rig Veda, Mitra and Varuna are a pair.
Apaam Napaat
Neptunus (Roman), Nech tan (Ireland, Celtic), anepsios (Gk)
My comments
In the above words, the comparisons are not acceptable because they mean different things not the Vedic meaning.

My comments
In Greek and Persian there is no S. They use H instead.
Kassite/Ks and Hittite/Ht are older than Greek and Avestan. So, they are important.

Money= Pana= Vanik
Every one of us use the word “Pana” for money in India. All of us use the word “Vanik(a)” for the business people or commerce. The entire English speaking world use the word “MONEY”. All these are derived from the Rig Vedic word “Pani”.
Linguists know that P=V=M are interchangeable. If you apply this rule, you get:-
Pani=Vanik= Vanij= Pana= Money
P=V=M interchange is very common in several languages including Tamil.
According to Western encyclopaedias, Phoenicians’ contribution to the world are 1)Alphabet and 2)Money. Even the Indian Brahmi which gave birth to Tamil script and all the South East Asian scripts are developed from the Phoenician alphabet according to them.
My Conclusion
No language or no book mentioned all the Vedic Gods . Not even Avestan. This shows Hindus did not come from outside. They were the sons of the soil. They went outside to spread their culture.
