மில்டன் கண்பார்வையற்றவர்; மிகப் பெரிய கவிஞர். அவருக்கு வந்து வாய்த்த மனைவி பெரிய சண்டைக்காரி. ஒரு நாள் மில்டன் ட்யூக் ஆஃப் பர்மிங்ஹாமைச் (Duke of Buckingham) சந்திக்கச் சென்றிருந்தார் பேச்சின் இடையில் ட்யூக், மில்டனின் மனைவியை ஒரு ரோஜா என்று கூறினார். உடனே மில்டன்,” எனக்கு வண்ணங்கள் பற்றி ஒன்றும் சொல்ல முடியாது. (அவர் குருடர் என்பதால்).ஆனால் நீங்கள் சொல்வது உண்மையாகத் தான் இருக்க வேண்டும். தினசரி என்னை முள்கள் குத்துகிறது” என்றார்!

வஞ்சப் புகழ்ச்சி!
பிரபல காமடி நடிகர் ஸ்டான் லாரல் இளம் வயதில் மேடையில் தோன்றிப் பாடுவது உண்டு. அவருடைய பாட்டைக் கேட்ட ஒரு ரசிகர், “நீ வெகு நன்றாகப் பாடுகிறாய்! ஆனால் நீ இருக்க வேண்டியது இங்கு இல்லை; பிரபல பாடகர் கார்ல் ரோசாவோடு அல்லவா நீ சேர்ந்து பாட வேண்டும்” என்று சொன்னார்.
இதைக் கேட்ட லாரல், “ஆனால் கார்ல் ரோசா இறந்து விட்டாரே” என்று திகைப்புடன் சொன்னார்.
“எனக்குத் தெரியும், அதனால் தான் சொன்னேன்” என்றார் அந்த ரசிகர்!

பிரபல ஆங்கிலக் கவிஞர்கள் வோர்ட்ஸ்வொர்த்தும் லேம்பும் நல்ல நண்பர்கள். இருவரும் ஒரு சமயம் சந்தித்துப் பேசிக் கொண்டிருந்தனர். வோர்ட்ஸ்வொர்த் சொன்னார்:” என்னால் ஷேக்ஸ்பியரைப் போல எழுத முடியும், எனக்கு மட்டும் மனம் இருந்தால்…” என்றார். லேம்ப் கொஞ்சம் திக்கித் திக்கிப் பேசுபவர்.

அழகான பேச்சு!
அமெரிக்க ஜனாதிபதியான கூலிட்ஜ் ஒரு முறை கட்டிட அடிக்கல் நாட்டச் சென்றிருந்தார்.
அங்கிருந்த கோடாலியால் தரையை ஒரு கொத்துக் கொத்தி அடையாளபூர்வமாக கட்டிட வேலையைத் தொடங்கி வைத்தார். அங்கு கூடியிருந்தோர், அவரிடம், “இந்தத் தருணத்தில் ஏதாவது பேசினால் நன்றாக இருக்கும். இந்த விழாவிற்குப் பொருத்தமாக இருக்குமே” என்றனர்.
உடனே கூலிட்ஜ், தான் தோண்டி எடுத்துப் போட்ட மண்ணைப் பார்த்தார்” “அதோ, என்ன அழகான மண்புழு அது” என்றார்.

ஜீரணசக்தி உள்ள டியூக்!
ட்யூக் ஆஃப் கம்பர்லேண்ட் (Duke of Cumberland) ஒரு முறை பிரபல நாடகக் கலைஞரும் நடிகருமான சாமுவேல் ஃபுட்டைச் (Samuel Foote 1720-1777) சந்தித்துப் பேசித்துக் கொண்டிருந்தார். நடிகரின் நகைச்சுவைப் பேச்சை அவர் வெகுவாக ரசித்தார். சாமுவேலை நோக்கி ட்யூக், “ மிஸ்டர் சாமுவேல், நீங்கள் சொன்ன எல்லாவற்றையும் நான் விழுங்கி விட்டேன்” என்று சந்தோஷமாகச் சொன்னார்.
உடனே சாமுவேல், “ மதிப்பிற்குரிய ட்யூக் அவர்கள் நல்ல ஜீரண சக்தி உடையவர், ஏனெனில் அவற்றில் எதையும் திருப்பி வெளியில் கொண்டு வர மாட்டீர்களே” என்றார்!

ராம ஜென்ம பூமி கோவில் வளாகத்துக்கு நிலம் வாங்கியதில் ஊழல் இருப்பதாக சில கட்சிகள் குற்றம் சாட்டி இருந்தன. அவர்களை, ஆதாரம் இருந்தால் வழக்கு தொடருங்களேன் என்று விஷ்வ ஹிந்து பரிஷத் சவால் விட்டது. இதுவரை எந்த அரசியல் கட்சியும் கோர்ட்டில் ராம ஜென்ம பூமி அறக்கட்டளைக்கு எதிராக வழக்கு தொடரவில்லை

நடிகர் அர்ஜூன் கட்டிய ஆஞ்சநேயர் கோவில் கும்பாபிஷேகம்
சொந்தமாக கோயில் கட்டி சிறப்பாக கும்பாபிஷேகம் செய்து முடித்திருக்கிறார் நடிகர் அர்ஜூன்.
நடிகர் அர்ஜுன் சென்னை போரூர் அருகே உள்ள கெருகம்பாக்கத்தில் ஆஞ்சநேயருக்கு கோவில் கட்டி இருக்கிறார். அவருக்கு சொந்தமான 20 ஏக்கர் பரப்பளவு உள்ள தோட்டத்தில் ஒரு ஏக்கரில் இந்த கோவிலை கட்டியுள்ளார். கர்நாடக மாநிலம் கொய்ரா என்ற கிராமத்தில் 200 டன் எடை கொண்ட ஒரே கல்லில் 28 அடி உயரம் 17 அடி அகலத்தில் ஆஞ்சநேயர் உட்கார்ந்து இருப்பது போன்று சிலையை வடித்து, 22 சக்கரங்கள் கொண்ட ராட்சத டிரக்கில் ஏற்றி கெருகம்பாக்கத்துக்கு கொண்டு வந்தனர்.
சில விஷேச பூஜைகள் நத்தப்பட்டபின்னர் கடந்த சில நாட்களுக்கு கோவிலின் கும்பாபிஷேகம் நடந்தது. இதற்காக குறிப்பிட்ட சிலரை மட்டுமே அழைத்த அர்ஜுன், தனது யூ-டியூப் சேனல் மூலம் நேரடி ஒளிப்பரப்பை செய்தார். பின்னர் அந்தப் படங்கள் இணையத்தில் வெளியாகியுள்ளன.

2 மாதங்களுக்கு பிறகு வழிபாட்டுக்கு அனுமதி: திருத்தணி கோவிலில் பக்தர்கள் சாமி தரிசனம்
திருத்தணி முருகன் கோவிலில் 63 நாட்களுக்குப் பிறகு பக்தர்கள் தரிசனத்துக்கு அனுமதி அளிக்கப்பட்ட நிலையில், ஏராளமான பக்தர்கள் திரண்டு வந்து சாமி தரிசனம் செய்தனர்.
திருவள்ளூர் மாவட்டம் திருத்தணியில் முருகப்பெருமானின் ஆறுபடை வீடுகளில் ஐந்தாம் படை வீடான திருக்கோவில் மலை மேல் அமைந்துள்ளது. இந்த கோவில் தமிழக அரசின் கொரோனா கால ஊரடங்கு உத்தரவு காரணமாக கடந்த ஏப்ரல் மாதம் 26-ந்தேதி மூடப்பட்டது. ஆனாலும் தமிழக அரசின் உத்தரவின் பேரில், திருக்கோவிலில் ஆகம விதிகளின்படி பூஜைகள் நடைபெற்று வந்தது.
தற்போது கொரோனா வைரஸ் தாக்கம் தமிழகத்தில் குறைந்து வருவதை முன்னிட்டு, முதற்கட்டமாக 4 மாவட்டங்களில் கோவில்களில் பக்தர்கள் வழிபாட்டுக்கு அனுமதி அளித்தது., திருத்தணி சுப்பிரமணிய சாமி கோவில் முழுவதும் கிருமிநாசினி கொண்டு தூய்மைப்பணி செய்யப்பட்டது.
காலை 6 மணி முதல் இந்த கோவிலில் பக்தர்கள் சாமி தரிசனம் செய்ய அனுமதி அளிக்கப்பட்டது. ஏராளமான பக்தர்கள் சமூக இடைவெளி மற்றும் முக கவசம் அணிந்து சாமி தரிசனம் செய்ய வந்தனர். 63 நாட்கள் கழித்து முருகப்பெருமானின் தரிசனத்தைக் காண பக்தர்கள் ஆர்வமுடன் வரிசையில் நின்று சாமி தரிசனம் செய்தனர்.

ஈஷா நிறுவனர் சத்குரு, ஆறு ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன் பதிவிட்ட, ‘மண்புழு ஓர் ஹிந்து’ என்ற டுவீட்டை தற்போது பகிர்ந்து, கேலியாக பதிலளித்து, அவரை வம்பிழுத்துள்ளார், தமிழக நிதியமைச்சர் தியாகராஜன்.
கடந்த 2015ம் ஆண்டு, சத்குரு டுவிட்டரில், ‘ஹிந்து என்பது புவியியல் அடையாளம். ஒரு யானை ஆப்ரிக்காவில் இருந்தால், அது ஆப்ரிக்கன். இந்த நிலத்தில் (இந்தியா) ஒரு மண் புழு இருந்தால், அது ஹிந்து’ என, பதிவிட்டிருந்தார். அந்தப் பதிவை தற்போது பகிர்ந்து, பதிலளித்துள்ள அமைச்சர் தியாகராஜன், ‘ஆப்ரிக்கா ஒரு கண்டம், இந்தியா ஒரு நாடு, குடியரசு (நிலம் என்பது இங்கு இந்தியாவைக் குறிக்கிறது).

Ram temple trust gives clean chit to trustees in land purchase
The Shri Ram Janambhoomi Teertha Kshetra Trust has given a clean chit to trustees involved in the purchase of land for the temple project.
Talking to reporters at a press conference on Thursday 2n July, Swami Govind Dev Giri, treasurer of the trust, said that he had studied all relevant documents in the past three days and found no discrepancy in the land deals.
He said that Swami Vishwaprasann Teerth and Kameshwar Chaupal had scrutinised all documents with him.
“All allegations levelled in the land purchase are false and baseless. If those who have levelled allegations can help us in getting cheaper land at the same location, the Trust would be obliged to them,” he said.
Swami Govind Dev Giri further said that the campaign against the Trust was unfortunate.
“However, I want to assure that the work on the Shri Ram temple will continue with full honesty and transparency,” he said.
The Swami’s statement now brings the curtain down on the controversy over the alleged land scam in Ayodhya.

Sikh leaders meet Minister Kishan Reddy, seek anti-conversion law
A delegation of Sikh leaders met Minister of State (Home) G Kishan Reddy on Tuesday to discuss the alleged forced conversion and wedding of Sikh women in Jammu and Kashmir. The delegation comprising BJP spokesperson and former BJP MLA from Delhi’s Rajinder Nagar RP Singh, Jago Party president Manjit Singh GK and others submitted a memorandum seeking a strong anti-conversion law.
After meeting the Sikh leaders, Reddy said: “Forced conversion and wedding of Sikh girls in Kashmir is wrong and the delegation has submitted a memorandum. I will discuss this with the Union Home Minister regarding the action that needs to be taken.”
The meeting took place less than 24 hours after members of the Sikh community staged protests in parts of Jammu and Kashmir. The Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) also took part in the demonstrations. Earlier, Union Home Minister Amit Shah
had also assured to meet these leaders to discuss the issue of religious conversion and possible action against those found guilty.
On Monday, a massive protest was staged at J&K House in New Delhi.

The Supreme Court on Wednesday asked Yoga guru Ramdev to place before it the original video and transcript of statements made by him which led to the registration of multiple FIRs against him in various states over his alleged remarks on efficacy of allopathy in treatment of COVID-19.
A bench headed by Chief Justice NV Ramana posted the hearing of Ramdev’s plea seeking clubbing of FIRs and transfer of cases to Delhi lodged against him for July 5, while asking him to place before it the whole video where the remarks were made by him.
Senior advocate Mukul Rohatgi appearing for Ramdev said he will file the original video and transcript before the court, and sought listing of the case next on Monday.
The plea of Ramdev also sought a stay on the proceedings in multiple cases lodged against him and sought protection from coercive actions in FIRs lodged by Indian Medical Associations (IMA) Patna and Raipur branches and asked the court to transfer the FIRs to Delhi.
During the hearing, Rohatgi contended that Ramdev is a public figure and in a private event he propounds a view that Ayurveda is better than allopathy. He said that Ramdev had clarified he has nothing against doctors. He is entitled to have a view whether Allopathy is better, Homeopathy is better or Ayurveda is better, Rohatgi argued.
Rohatgi further submitted that “all kinds of cases have been filed against Ramdev and as multiple FIRs have been filed in different parts of the country we ask the court to club them.”
The case has been posted further hearing tomorrow 5th of July.

Pak body for early drafting of Hindu Marriage Act
A delegation comprising members of Pakistan’s minority communities on Monday urged the provincial government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in northwest Pakistan to expedite the drafting of rules for the Hindu Marriage and Divorce Act.
The federal government approved the Hindu Marriage Bill in March 2017 with the consent of the governments in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, and Baluchistan provinces and issued necessary instructions to them to draft the required rules. Pakistan has about 3.8 million Hindus.

75 American Hindu temples and spiritual orgs write to Rutgers University expressing concerns regarding Audrey Truschke’s actions
A coalition of 75 American Hindu temples and spiritual organizations (including 17 from New Jersey) from across 20 states sent a letter to Rutgers University on 2nd July expressing anguish and concerns regarding Professor Audrey Truschke’s actions and statements. The letter, coordinated by the Coalition of Hindus of North America (CoHNA), included some of the largest temples and spiritual organizations, whose memberships include tens of thousands of attendees from diverse sectarian, social, ethnic, and national backgrounds – including from the United States, Canada, Bharat, Guyana, Trinidad & Tobago, Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Fiji, Malaysia, and Singapore, among others.
The letter comes against the backdrop of an ongoing controversy at Rutgers University, where Professor Truschke has continued to make disparaging comments about Hindu texts, deities, and festivals while denouncing concerns from Hindu and non-Hindu students and the broader Hindu community as the work of the “Hindu Right.”
“We cannot help but feel intensely hurt and abused when a professor uses her authority and deliberately misinterprets Hindu sacred texts or slanders Hindu deities while rationalizing such behavior as ‘academic freedom,’” remarked the letter.
K V Sampath Kumar (64), editor of ‘Sudharma’, the world’s only Sanskrit daily newspaper, passed away following cardiac arrest in Mysuru on Wednesday.
Sampath Kumar’s father Pandit Varadaraja Iyengar had launched ‘Sudharma’ in 1970. After Varadaraja Iyengar passed away, Sampath Kumar and his wife Jayalakshmi took over its mantle to ensure that it reached the readers.
He used advanced technology, made ‘Sudharma’ available online and launched the e-paper. The print edition of ‘Sudharma’ has nearly 4,000 readers from various Sanskrit universities and institutions across the country.
However, the digital edition of the newspaper has readers from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. The Union government announced the Padma Shri award to Sampath Kumar and his wife K S Jayalakshmi in 2020, under Literature and Education-Journalism category.
In a condolence message, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said Sampath Kumar was an inspiring personality who worked tirelessly towards preserving and popularising Sanskrit, specially among youngsters. His passion and determination were inspiring, he added.
முதல் தடவை அமெரிக்காவை ஒரு கலக்கு கலக்கி ஹிந்து மத மேன்மையை அங்கு அனைவருக்கும் உணர்த்தி விட்டு அவர் இந்தியா திரும்பிய சமயம் அது. பலராம் போஸ் வீட்டில் அவர் தங்கியிருந்தார். ஒரு நாள் அவரைக் காண அவரது சக துறவியான துரியானந்தர் வந்தார். ஸ்வாமிஜி வாரந்தாவில் தனியே நடந்து கொண்டிருந்தார். ஆழ்ந்த சிந்தனை அவருக்கு. அவர் துரியானந்தர் வந்ததைக் கவனிக்கவே இல்லை. சிறிது நேரம் கழித்து மீராபாயியின் கீதம் ஒன்றை ஹம்மிங் செய்யலானார் ஸ்வாமிஜி. அப்போது அவர் கண்களிலிருந்து நீர் பெருகி ஓடிற்று. அவர் தன் கைகளால் முகத்தை மூடிக் கொண்டார். அங்கிருந்த கைப்பிடியைப் பிடித்துக் கொண்டு அதில் சாய்ந்தார். தொடர்ந்து பாட ஆரம்பித்தார்.
“ஓ! யாருமே எனது துயரைப் புரிந்து கொள்ள மாட்டேன் என்கிறார்களே!
யாருக்கு இரத்தம் வடியவில்லையோ, அவருக்கு வேதனை புரியாது”
அவர் கீதம் தொடர்ந்தது!
பின்னால் இந்த சம்பவத்தைக் கூறிய துரியானந்தர், “ அவரது வார்த்தைகள் என் நெஞ்சைக் கூரிய அம்புகள் பிளந்தது போல் பிளந்தன. எனக்குக் கண்ணீரை வரவழைத்தன.” என்றார்.
ஸ்வாமிஜி எந்தக் காரணத்திற்காக இப்படி உருகுகிறார் என்பதை அறியாத துரியானந்தர் மிகவும் வருத்தப்பட்டார். ஆனால் அவர் மனதில் பளிச்சென ஒரு எண்ணம் தோன்றியது. “உலகினர் படும் துன்பங்களைக் கண்டு வேதனை தாள முடியாமல் தான் அவர் கண்ணீர் பெருக்கினார். ஒடுக்கப்பட்டவர்களுக்காகவே அவர் உருகி அழுதார்” – இந்த எண்ணம் தான் ஸ்வாமிஜியின் வருத்தத்திற்குக் காரணமாகத் துரியானந்தருக்குத் தோன்றியது.
ஸ்வாமிஜி உலகனைத்திற்கும் உரித்தானவர் அல்லவா!

இரண்டாவது முறையாக அமெரிக்க விஜயம் மேற்கொண்டார் ஸ்வாமிஜி. ஒரு நாள் நதிக் கரையோரம் அவர் நடந்து சென்று கொண்டிருந்தார். அங்கு நதிக்கரையில் ஒரு இளைஞர்கள் கூட்டம் குழுமி இருந்தது. அவர்கள் நீரில் தோன்றும் நீர்க்குமிழிகளைக் குறிபார்த்து சுட்டுக் கொண்டிருந்தனர். ஆனால் ஒருவருக்கும் வெற்றி தான் கிடைக்கவில்லை. ஸ்வாமிஜிக்கு இந்தக் காட்சி வேடிக்கையாக இருந்தது. அவர் பார்ப்பதைக் கண்ட இளைஞர்களுள் ஒருவன், “இது ஒன்றும் அவ்வளவு சுலபமான விஷயம் இல்லை, சார்! நீங்கள் வேண்டுமானாலும் முயற்சி செய்து பாருங்கள்” என்றான்.
ஸ்வாமிஜி ஒன்றும் சொல்லவில்லை. அவனிடமிருந்து துப்பாக்கியைப் பெற்றுக் கொண்ட அவர் குறி பார்த்து நீர்க் குமிழிகளைச் சுடலானார். ஒன்றல்ல, இரண்டல்ல, பன்னிரெண்டு குமிழிகளைத் தொடர்ந்து அவர் சுட்டார்.
இளைஞர்கள் அனைவரும் பிரமித்துப் போயினர். இவர் ஒரு மார்க்கர் – குறி பார்த்துச் சுடுவதில் வல்லவர் – என்று அவர்கள் பேசிக் கொண்டனர்.
ஸ்வாமிஜி அவர்களிடம் கூறினார்:” நான் எனது வாழ்க்கையில் ஒரு போதும் துப்பாக்கி ஏந்தி சுட்டதில்லை. இப்படிச் சுட முடிந்ததற்கான காரணம் கான்செண்ட்ரேஷன் – ஒரு முனைப்பட்ட கவனக் குவிப்பு தான் “ என்றார்.

இரண்டாயிரம் ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்னர் ரோமானிய சாம்ராஜ்யத்தில் வாழ்ந்த லூசியஸ் அப்யூலியஸ் (LUCIUS APULEIUS) எழுதிய ஒரே ஒரு லத்தீன் மொழி நாவல்தான் இன்று நமக்குக் கிடைத்துள்ளது .அந்த நாவலின் பெயர் மெடமார்பசிஸ் ( THE METAMORPHOSES); அதாவது உருமாற்றம்.
ரோம் நகர ஆட்சி ஒரு காலத்தில் வட ஆப்ரிக்கா வரை பரவி இருந்தது. அப்போது மடவ்ரா MADAURA (மதுரா??) எனும் நகரில் லூசியஸ் அப்யூலியஸ் ஒரு பணக்கார குடும்பத்தில் பிறந்தார். பெரிய அதிகாரியின் மகன் என்பதால் வட ஆப்ரிக்காவின் கார்தேஜ் நகரிலும் பின்னர் கிரேக்க நாட்டின் தலைநகர் ஏதன்ஸிலும் கல்வி கற்றார்.

அப்பா சேர்த்து வைத்த செல்வத்தைப் பயன்படுத்தி ஆசிய கண்டத்தின் தொலை தூர நகரங்களுக்குப் பயணம் செய்து நல்ல அனுபவம் பெற்றார். பல மதங்கள், பல கலாசாரங்கள், மாய ஜால வித்தைகள் முதலியவற்றை அறிந்தார். அவைகளைப் பயன்படுத்தி மெட்டாமார்பசிஸ் நாவலை எழுதினார். இதன் மற்றோரு பெயர் தங்கக் கழுதை THE GOLDEN ASS.
இது ஒரு பழி கரப்பு அங்கத நாவல் (SATIRE). ரோம சாம்ராஜ்யத்திலுள்ள மத குருமார்களையும் . போலி மருத்துவர்களையும் கிண்டலும், கேலியும் செய்யும் நாவல்.. எகிப்திய புராணத்தில் ஆசிரிஸ்- ஐசிஸ் (OSIRIS- ISIS) கதை மிகவும் பிரபலமான கதை. அதைப் பயன்படுத்தி இவர் புதினம் படைத்தார். இவரது கதையில் , கதாநாயகன் ஒரு கழுதை . அதை ஐசிஸ் என்னும் எகிப்திய தேவதை ஒரு ஆண்மகனாக மாற்றிவிடுகிறது இது மன்மதன்- ரதி காதல் கதை போன்றது.. கிட்டத்தட்ட கவிதை படிப்பது போன்ற உரைநடை நூல் இது.
அப்யூலியஸ் ஒரு விதவையை மணந்தார். இது பிடிக்காத சிலர், இவர் மாய மந்திரங்களை பயன்படுத்தி அந்தப் பெண்ணை வலையில் சிக்க வைத்ததாகக் குற்றம் சாட்டினார்கள் . அப்யூலியஸ் தன்னை நிரபராதி என்று காட்ட வழக்காடு மன்றத்தில் அழகிய உரை நிகழ்த்தினார். இது அப்பாலஜி (THE APOLOGY) என்ற நூலாக பின்னர் வெளிவந்தது. கோர்ட்டும் அவரை விடுவித்தது.. பின்னர் அவர் கார்த்தேஜ் (CARTHAGE) நகருக்குத் திரும்பி வந்தது தத்துவம் மற்றும் பேசும் கலை பற்றி (PHILOSOPHY AND RHETORIC) பாடம் நடத்தினார்.
இவர் சாக்ரடீஸ், பிளாட்டோ பற்றி கட்டுரைகளும் எழுதியுள்ளார்.. கார்த்தேஜ் நகரிலும் ஏனைய பல இடங்களிலும் இவருக்கு சிலைகள் சமைக்கப்பட்டன. இவர் ரோமானிய சாம்ராஜ்யத்தில் பெருமளவுக்கு மதிக்கப்பட்டார் என்பதற்குச் சிலைகள் சான்று பகர்கின்றன.

பகவான் ரமண மஹரிஷி வாழ்வில் அற்புத சம்பவங்கள்!

பகவான் ரமண மஹரிஷி வாழ்வில் ஏராளமான அற்புத சம்பவங்கள் நடந்துள்ளன. இவற்றை மஹரிஷியின் அணுக்கத் தொண்டர்கள் நன்கு பதிவு செய்து வைத்துள்ளனர். அவற்றில் சிலவற்றை இங்கு காண்போம்:

ஸ்ரீ T.V. கபாலி சாஸ்திரிகள் 3-9-1886 அன்று சென்னையில் மைலாப்பூரில் பிறந்தவர். 17-8-1953 அன்று பாண்டிச்சேரியில் மறைந்தார்.
1911ஆம் ஆண்டு அவர் மஹரிஷியின் வட்டத்துக்குள் வந்தார். அவர் The Maharshi என்று ஒரு புத்தகத்தை எழுதியுள்ளார். அதில் அவர் குறிப்பிடும் ஒரு சம்பவம் இது:
ஒரு சமயம் மஹரிஷி மலை மீது வசித்துக் கொண்டிருந்தார். வேடன் ஒருவன் ஒரு மயிலைக் கொல்ல எத்தனித்தான். மஹரிஷி அவனிடம் அதைக் கொல்ல வேண்டாம் என்றார். “போ, சாமி, நீ யாரு அதைச் சொல்ல” என்று கூறிய அவன் மஹரிஷியின் வார்த்தைகளைப் புறக்கணித்தான். தனது வேலையைச் செய்து முடித்தான். மறுநாள் அவனுக்கு ஒரு விபத்து ஏற்பட்டது. எந்தக் கையால் மயிலை முடித்தானோ அதே கை வெட்டுண்டது. மஹரிஷி அதற்காக வருத்தப்பட்டார். “ஆனால் என்ன செய்யறது? விஷயத்தைக் கற்றுக் கொள்வதற்கு முன் ஜனங்கள் இப்படிப்பட்டதை அனுபவிக்க வேண்டி இருக்கிறது” என்றார்.

T.K. சுந்தரேச ஐயர் பகவானின் அணுக்கத் தொண்டர்களில் ஒருவர். அவர் பகவானுடனான தனது அனுபவங்களை At the Feet of Bhagavan என்று எழுதியுள்ளார். 38 அத்தியாயங்களில் நிறைய வியப்பூட்டும் சம்பவங்களைப் படித்து மகிழலாம்.
அதில் ஒரு சம்பவம் இது:
ஒரு நாள் காலை உணவுக்குப் பின்னர் பகவானின் பக்தர்களுடன் சுந்தரேச ஐயர் ஹாலில் இருந்தார். தத்துவம் ஒன்றைப் பற்றி பகவான் விரிவாக விளக்கிக் கொண்டிருந்தார். மணி 10.45 ஆயிற்று. யாருக்கும் நேரம் போனதே தெரியவில்லை. அப்படி ஒரு ஈர்ப்பான உரை. 10.45க்கு சுந்தரேச ஐயரின் பக்கம் திரும்பிய பகவான், “அட, பையா, நீ இன்னும் ஸ்கூலுக்குப் போகவில்லையா?” என்றார்.
“பகவான், இன்றைக்கு ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை. ஸ்கூல் கிடையாது” என்றார் அவர்.
பகவான் சிரித்தார். “நீ ஸ்கூலுக்குப் போகற லக்ஷணம் நன்னாயிருக்கு. இன்றைக்கு திங்கள் கிழமை. ஓடு. உனது ஹெட்மாஸ்டர் உனக்காக கேட்டில் காத்துக் கொண்டிருக்கிறார்” என்றார் அவர்.
அவ்வளவு தான்; சுந்தரேச ஐயர் ஓடினார். அது இடைவேளை நேரம். கேட்டை அடைந்த போது ஹெட்மாஸ்டர் பகவான் கூறியதூ போலவே அங்கு நின்று கொண்டிருந்தார். அவரது பொடி டப்பியைக் கையில் வைத்துக் கொண்டு கொஞ்சம் பொடியை எடுத்து உறிஞ்சியவாறே அவருக்காகக் காத்துக் கொண்டிருந்தார்.
மஹரிஷி கூறிய அதே வார்த்தைகளை ஹெட்மாஸ்டர் சுந்தரேசனிடம் கூறினார்:” என்ன, சார், இன்னிக்கு திங்கள்ங்கறது மறந்து போச்சா? ஒருவேளை மஹரிஷி அதை உனக்கு ஞாபகப்படுத்தி இன்னிக்கு ஸ்கூல் உண்டுன்னு சொன்னாரோ”
உடனே சுந்தரேசன் கூறினார்:” ஆமாம், சார்! நான் மறந்து போய்விட்டேன். மஹரிஷிதான் என்னை இங்கு அனுப்பினார்.”
இப்படி மஹரிஷி தனக்கு நினைவு படுத்திய நிகழ்ச்சியை சுந்தரேச ஐயர் நினைவு கூர்கிறார்.

தவத்திரு குஞ்சு ஸ்வாமிகள் பகவானின் பழைய பக்தர்களில் ஒருவர். அவர் ‘எனது நினைவுகள்’ என்று ஒரு நூலை எழுதியுள்ளார். அதில் தனது பெயரை ‘குற்றேவல் குஞ்சு சுவாமி’ என்று குறிப்பிடுகிறார். 70 அத்தியாயங்களையும் 11 அநுபந்தப் பகுதிகளையும் கொண்ட அருமையான நூல் இது.
அதில் ஒரு சம்பவம் இது:
வடக்கே இருந்து பெரிய பண்டிதர் ஒருவர் ஸ்ரீ பகவானை தரிசிக்க வந்தார். சிலநாள் ஆசிரமத்திலேயே அவர் தங்கியிருந்தார். பண்டிதர் தினமும் ஸ்ரீ பகவான் அருகில் உட்கார்ந்து கொண்டு சம்ஸ்கிருதத்திலேயே உபநிஷத்துகளிலிருந்தும் மற்றும் பல நூல்களிலிருந்தும் சுலோகங்களை இடைவிடாது சப்தமாக வாசித்துக் கொண்டிருப்பார். அங்கு குழுமியிருந்த மற்றவருக்கெல்லாம் ஸ்ரீபகவானிடம் பேசவோ தியானம் செய்யவோ அது பெரிய இடையூறாக இருந்தது. ஸ்ரீ பகவான் பொறுமையாக அவர் சொல்வதை எல்லாம் கேட்டுக் கொண்டிருக்கும் போது மற்றவர்களால் ஒன்றும் செய்ய முடியவில்லை. இப்படியாக பத்து தினங்கள் ஓடின. ஒரு நாள் காலையில் ஸ்ரீ பகவான் அருகில் இடம் காலியாக இருந்தது. சப்தமும் இல்லை. பண்டிதர் அங்கே ஒரு மூலையில் அடங்கி அமர்ந்திருந்தார். குஞ்சு சுவாமிகள் ஆச்சரியத்துடன் பார்ப்பதைக் கண்ட பகவான் “பண்டிதரும் நம் போல் ஆகி விட்டார்” என்று சிரித்துக் கொண்டே மலையாளத்தில் சொன்னார்.
“ஆம்! அநுபவம் ஒன்றுமில்லாமல் ஏட்டுப் படிப்பை மட்டும் வைத்துக் கொண்டு தானும் ஈடேற முடியாது. பிறரையும் தூக்கி விட முடியாது. ஞான தினகரனாம் ஸ்ரீ பகவானிடம் வந்தடைந்தவர்கள் பண்டிதராயினும், பாமரராயினும் தங்களிடம் உள்ள அறியாமை, அகங்காரம், மனச்சுமை யாவும் தீர்ந்து ஸ்ரீ பகவானின் அருட்பார்வையால் பரம சாந்தி பெற்று உய்வது யாவரும் அறிந்த உண்மையன்றோ” – என்று இப்படிக் கூறி இந்த நிகழ்ச்சியை நம்மிடம் பகிர்ந்து கொள்கிறார் ஸ்ரீ குஞ்சு ஸ்வாமிகள்!

WHAT IS TAMIL VEDA?
Tamil Veda is Titukkural written by Tamil poet Tiru Valluvar. It is considered the greatest Tamil work that Tamils contributed to the world. It contains 1330 couplets on moral and ethics in Tamil. It is dated 31 BCE by Tamil enthusiasts, but linguistically it belongs to 5th century CE.
Who said it is Tamil “Veda”?
Many contemporaries of Tiru valluvar by name Ukkirap Peruvazuthi, Paranar, Gowthamaanar,Vannakkaan sathanar, Sengkannanar, Velli Veethiyar, Mangudi Maruthanar sand Karikkannanar say it. And also Saraswati Devi says that she gave Veda and Tirukkural. All their verses are in Tiru Valluva Malai.
WHAT IS RIG VEDA?
Rig Veda in Sanskrit is the oldest book in the world. It is the oldest anthology with over 1000 hymns which contain 10,000 mantras. Herman Jacobi and B G Tilak dated it between 4000 and 6000 BCE. Max Muller dated it 1500 BCE or before that. The seers sing the glory of Gods and call them Friends and Comrades.
The amazing fact is that Hindus are the only people in the world who glorified Friendship and Hospitality as virtues. Both Sanskrit and Tamil poets have sung hundreds of verses appreciating these two virtues. It is hardly seen in other cultures.
Here are some comparisons; the numbers in the Rig Veda (RV) are Mandala-Hymn-Mantra.

Some people translated Gowra as buffalo.
Just as a yak , which is shorn of its wool does not survive,

Here Gowra in Sanskrit and Kavari in Tamil are similar in sound. Both are confused with deer and buffalo.

Valluvar was a great Sanskrit scholar; he must have studied the Vedas. Here he uses the Sanskrit words Amrit, Dhaanam (Charity) and Tapas (Penance) in the same chapter on Rains. So I think Amrita is equated with Soma juice.

POWER OF SUBCONSCIOUS MIND- PART 2
Visualisation & Picturisation in the Mind :
At least for 15 days continuously one should give auto suggestion to his/her sub conscious mind. From 16th day onwards one has to visualize in his / her mind that he/she has already achieved what he/she wants to achieve in life. He / she should picturise that he/she is getting the Excel Award or Sharam Vir / Sharam Sree Award for the achievements. Also he/she should visualize in his/her mind that he/she had already achieved the goal and getting the Award from our CMD or from the central Minister and should imagine that he/she is interacting with them for a minute or so. If one visualizes and picturises like this then he/she will be able to achieve his/her dream very quickly.
One should write his/her goal in a 3” x 5” size card and should see that as and when time permits/ when ever it is possible. This will help them get their goal in the shortest possible time. If you make an analysis of the success of others, you may find that, almost all would have achieved their goal by visualizing in their mind before actually getting that. We achieved freedom from British empire only because of the focused dream of 30 crores of people at that time in India. This was introduced in to the minds of the people of India before independence by the great poet Subramania Bharathiyar.
Nothing is impossible if you Learn with determination:
Just think of how you learnt to drive bicycle during your childhood. You will laugh even now on thinking of this. So many times one might have fallen down and got himself injured while learning cycle but you were focused and learnt to drive bicycle with confidence and determination.
When you want to learn car driving you will affix “L” sticker in the front and rear side of the car so that others will know that you are a learner. But after mastering how to drive car your ego will not permit you to have the “L” sticker. If we remove “ L “ from the word LEARN then it becomes EARN. That means you started to earn not only money but you earn respect, recognition and reward from the society. Hence at the time of learning one should learn with sincerity and should learn it from “the horse’s mouth” .
Thus if one gives auto suggestion to his/her sub conscious mind he/she will be able to tune the mind and make use of both the conscious and sub conscious mind for achieving what ever one wants to achieve on the earth and under the sun.
What are all the things we can earn / achieve from sub conscious mind:
Achieving success in any field.
Enormous happiness in our life .
Harmonious relationship with others.
To remove mental blocks.
To remove fear from our mind .
To stay young in spirit forever.
To get more friends in our life.
To achieve what ever we want in life .
To resolve all problems.
10. To sustain and maintain the success achieved already.
If all of us practices all the above mentioned things by giving auto suggestion to our subconscious mind then India will become the number one country in the world by 2015 itself and not by 2020 as dreamt by Dr.APJ Kalamji.

பள்ளிக்கூடத்தில் ‘சைலஸ் மார்னர்’ , ‘மில் ஆன் தி ப்லாஸ்’ நாவல்களையோ அவற்றின் சுருக்கத்தையோ படித்திருப்பீர்கள் . அவற்றின் மூலம் புகழ் பெற்ற கதாசிரியை ஜார்ஜ் எலியட் (George Eliot) ஆவார்.அவருடைய இயற் பெயர் மரியம் ஆன் இவான்ஸ் (Mariam Ann Evans) . ஆங்கில நாவல் எழுதியோர் வரிசையில் பிரபலமானவர்களின் ஒருவர் அவர். சுமார் 150 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்னர் கதைகள் எழுதிய அவர் புகழ் இன்று வரை நீடித்து வருகிறது.
பிறந்த தேதி – நவம்பர் 22, 1819
இறந்த தேதி – டிசம்பர் 22, 1880
வாழ்ந்த ஆண்டுகள் – 61
அவர் எழுதிய மேலும் இரண்டு புகழ்மிகு கதைகள் —
ஆடம் பீட் , மிடில் மார்ச்
ஜார்ஜ் எலியட் இங்கிலாந்தில் வாரிக் க்ஷைரில் (Warwickshire) பிறந்தார். அப்போது இங்கிலாந்து பெரும் மாறுதல்களைக் சந்தித்தது. நீராவி என்ஜின்கள், புதிய ரயில் பாதைகள், எந்திரங்களுடன் பெரிய தொழிற்சாலைகள் என்று பெரிய தொழில் புரட்சி ஏற்பட்டது. அவரும் நல்ல பள்ளிகளில் சேர்ந்து கல்வி கற்றார். 1849-ம் ஆண்டில் தந்தை இறந்த பின்னர் ஐரோப்பாவில் பல இ டங்களைப் பார்த்துவிட்டு லண்டனில் குடியேறினார்.
ஜார்ஜ் ஹென்றி லூயிஸ் என்ற எழுத்தாளருடன் ஜெர்மனிக்குச் சென்றார். அவர் ஏற்கனவே திருமணம் ஆனவர். ஆயினும் முறையான மண முறிவு (Divorce) கிடைக்கவில்லை. ஆயினும் ஜார்ஜ் இறக்கும் வரை 24 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு அவருடன் வாழ்ந்தார் எலியட். அந்தக் காலத்தில் இது மிகவும் வெறுக்கப்பட்ட செயல். எங்கு போயினும் அவரின் முதுகுக்குப் பின்னால் கிசு கிசுப் பேச்சு எழும்.
அவருக்கு 40 வயதான பொழுது முதல் சிறுகதைத் தொகுப்பினை வெளியிட்டார். அந்தக் காலத்தில் ஆண்களே , எழுத்துலகில் ஆதிக்கம் செலுத்தினர். ஆகையால் இந்தப் பெண்மணியும் ஜார்ஜ் எலியட் என்ற புனைப் பெயரில் எழுதத் தொடங்கினார்.
‘ஆடம் பீட்’ என்ற பெயரில் இவர் வெளியிட்ட சோக மய காதல்கதைக்கு இவரது தந்தையே முன்னுதாரணம் ஆனார். அந்தக் கதைக்கு நல்ல வரவேற்பு கிடைத்தவுடன் இ முன்னனி எழுத்தாளராகக் கருதினர். இரண்டு ஆண்டுகளுக்குப் பின்னர் ஸைலஸ் மார்னர் கதை வெளியானது. இதில் ஒரு இளம் பெண்ணின் காதலில் மயங்கிய ஒரு கருமி அவளுக்காக எல்லா பணத்தையும் சேமித்த கதாபாத்திரம் வருகிறது.
இதற்குப் பத்து ஆண்டுகளுக்குப் பின்னர் அவர் எழுதிய மிடில் மார்ச் (Middlemarch) புதினம்தான் அவருடைய சிறந்த படைப்பு என்று இலக்கிய உலகம் எடைபோடுகிறது ஜார்ஜ் எலியட்டின் கதைகளில் சாதாரண மனிதர்களே கதா நாயகர்கள். அவர்களுடைய அன்றாடப் பிரச்சினைகளே கதைகளின் முக்கிய விஷயம். நிதர்சன நிலையைக் காட்டியதால் அவர் தனக்கு என ஒரு இடத்தைப் பிடித்தார்.
