Part 8

Tiru Valluvar in his Tirukkural addresses only Hindus, Buddhists, Jains and Sikhs; they only believe in Rebirths. Following couplets make it very clear. Followers of Abrahamic religions cannot follow Tirukkural; Valluvar speaks about Papa, Punya, Dharma and Adharma, Birth and rebirth through out 1330 couplets.

Couplet 36 translated Dharmam Chara in the Vedas as அறஞ்செய்க.

What is said here is in the Hindu epics as well. But Valluvar’s genius brought all the good sayings in one book in the briefest form.

No one can beat Valluvar; He is the greatest in the didactic literature.

In almost every chapter we see Sanskrit words; Here we see Civikai for palanquin.
