ரேகைசாஸ்திரம் பற்றி பிரபல விஞ்ஞானி சத்யேந்திரநாத் போஸ் கூறிய சம்பவம்!

பிரபல விஞ்ஞானியான சத்யேந்திரநாத் போஸ் அறிவியலில், ‘போஸ் ஐன்ஸ்டீன் கண்டன்ஸேட்’ (Bose-Einstein condensate) என்பதைக் கண்ட விஞ்ஞானி. இவரது பல கண்டுபிடிப்புகள் க்வாண்டம் இயற்பியல் தோன்றிய ஆரம்ப காலத்தில் அனைவரையும் வியக்க வைத்தன!
1-1-1894ல் பிறந்த இவர் 4-2-1974ல் மறைந்தார்.
இவரது வாழ்க்கையில் பல சுவையான சம்பவங்கள் உண்டு.
அவை அனைத்தும் இந்திய சாஸ்திரங்கள் கூறும் கொள்கைகளை விளக்கும் சம்பவங்களை மெய்ப்பிக்கும் சம்பவங்களாகும்.
அவற்றில் ஒன்று இது.
ஒரு நாள் காலையில் அவரிடம் பெருமதிப்பு கொண்டவரும் அவரது மாணாக்கருமான பிரபல இயற்பியல் பேராசிரியரான பார்த்தா கோஸ் (Partha Gose) அவரைச் சந்தித்துப் பேசிக் கொண்டிருந்தார்.
பேச்சின் இடையில் ஜோதிடம் மற்றும் கைரேகை பார்ப்பது போன்றவை எல்லாம் எவ்வளவு குருட்டுத்தனமானது என்பதை உற்சாகத்துடன் கூறிக் கொண்டிருந்தார் பார்த்தா கோஸ்.
அதைக் கேட்டுக் கொண்டிருந்த சத்யேந்திரநாத் போஸ் பேசலானார்.
“நான் ஒரு சம்பவத்தைக் கூறுகிறேன், கேள்.. எனது இளமைப் பருவத்தில் ஒரு ஜோதிடர் எனது கைரேகையைப் பார்த்து விட்டு ஒரு ரேகையைச் சுட்டிக் காண்பித்து, நான் படிப்பில் சுமாராகத் தான் இருப்பேன் என்று கூறினார்.
பின்னர் ஐரோப்பா சென்று உயர் படிப்பை முடித்துவிட்டு இந்தியா திரும்பினேன்.
வால்டேருக்கு (விசாகப்பட்டினம்) ஒரு முறை நான் தேர்வு அதிகாரியாகச் சென்றேன். அங்கு பல பேராசிரியர்களுடன் பேசிக் கொண்டிருந்தேன்.
அப்போது எனது கைரேகையைக் கணித்த இந்தப் பழைய சம்பவத்தைப் பற்றிக் கூறினேன். எல்லா பேராசிரியர்களும் சிரித்தனர் – ஒருவரைத் தவிர!
அவர் எனது கைரேகையைப் பார்க்க விரும்பினார். நானும் காண்பித்தேன்.
அவர் எனது கைரேகையை நன்கு பார்த்து விட்டு, இந்த ரேகை ஒன்றைத் தெளிவாகச் சொல்கிறது.” என்று சொல்லி விட்டு நிறுத்தி விட்டார்.
‘என்ன சொல்கிறது’, என்று நான் வலியுறுத்திக் கேட்டபின் அவர், “ உங்களது குழந்தைகளில் ஒன்று பிறந்த பிறகு இயற்கையற்ற விதத்தில் மரணம் அடைவதைக் குறிக்கிறது” என்றார்.
நான் திடுக்கிட்டேன்.
தொலைதூரத்தில் வால்டேரில் இருந்த ஒருவர் என்னைப் பற்றி முழுதுமாக அறிவதற்கு வாய்ப்பே இல்லை.
ஆனால் உண்மையில் நடந்தது என்ன தெரியுமா? சில நாட்களுக்கு முன்னர் தான் எனது அண்டைப்புறத்து பெண்மணி ஒருவர் எனது குழந்தையை அவரது மடியில் தூக்கி வைத்துக் கொண்டிருந்தார்.
அப்போது அந்தக் குழந்தை கொதிக்கும் பாலில் தவறி விழுந்து உடனே இறந்து விட்டது.”
இதை அவர் கூறி முடித்தவுடன் அனைவரும் பிரமித்தனர்.
“இப்போது என்ன சொல்கிறீர்கள்?” என்று அவர் கேட்க அனைவரும் மௌனமாக இருந்தனர்.
ஆக, கைரேகை சாஸ்திரம் உண்மை தான் என்பதையும், ரேகையைச் சரியாகப் பார்ப்பவர் உண்மைகளை நுணுக்கமாக ரேகைகளின் மூலமாகக் கண்டறிய முடியும் என்பதையும் அவர் கூறிய இந்தச் சம்பவம் விளக்குகிறது!

மார்ச் மாதம் (2025) சென்னை முதல் கும்பகோணம் வரை பயணம் செய்தபோது பார்த்த காட்சிகளை உங்களுடன் பகிர்ந்துகொள்கிறேன் .
சாலை ஓரக் கோவில்கள் ஏராளம் ; கரும்புச் சாறு, வெள்ளரிக்காய், பலாப்பழம், பனை நுங்கு , மல்லிகைப்பூக்களை விற்கும் ஆட்களை நிறைய காண முடிகிறது
போகும் வழியெல்லாம் ‘டோல் கேட்’டுக்களுக்குப் பஞ்சமில்லை.. டாக்சிக்காரர்கள் ஒரு நாளைக்கு 500 ரூபாய் ‘பேட்டா’வுடன் கிலோமீட்டருக்கு 13 முதல் 15 ரூபாய் வரை வாங்குகின்றனர்.
இரட்டை அறை ரூம்களுக்கு 2000 ல் 3000 வரை ஓரிரவுக்குச் செலவாகிறது . சாப்பாட்டுக்கு அதிக செலவாகாது; ஒரு வேளைக்கு முழுவயிறு சாப்பாட்டுக்கு 100 முதல் 125 ரூபாய் வரை இருந்தால் போதும்.
காப்பி, டீ என்பதெல்லாம் சாலை ஓரக் கடைகளில் கொள்ளை மலிவு ;15 ரூபாய்தான்!
வெளி நாடுகளிலிருந்து இந்தியாவுக்குச் செல்வோருக்கு அது சொர்க்க பூமிதான் .
முதியோர் இல்லம் போன்றவற்றில் அறையில் தங்கினால் மாதத்துக்கு முப்பதாயிரம் ரூபாய் வேண்டும்; சொகுசான வசதி படைத்த இடங்களில் வயதானோர் வாழ்ந்தா ல் இதைப்போல இரு மடங்கு ரூபாய் வேண்டும் .
எனக்குத் தெரிந்த மூன்று நான்கு குடும்பங்கள் கோவை நானா- நானியில் தங்கியுள்ளனர் ; நான் அந்த இடத்தைப் பார்த்ததில்லை. கும்பகோணத்தில் வெஜிட்டேரியன் இந்துக்கள் மட்டுமே தங்கும் ஸ்ரீவத்சம் விடுதியில் எனது நண்பர் தனியாக வாழ்கிறார். அவர் மகிழ்ச்சியாக இருப்பதாகவும் ‘போர்’ அடிக்காமல் இருக்க அந்த இடத்திலேயே கச்சேரிகள் உபந்யாசங்கள் நடப்பதாகவும் கூறினார்.
வைத்தீஸ்வரன் கோவில் அக்ஷர்தாமில் ஒரு நாளைக்கு 3000 ரூபாய் கொடுத்தேன்; கும்பகோணம் ஸ்ரீவத்சத்தில் (Retirement Homes) பிராமண சாப்பாடு, காப்பி உள்பட ஒரு நாளைக்கு 2000 ரூபாய்தான் ; இது நல்ல வசதியுள்ள இரட்டைப் படுக்கை அறைக்கான செலவு.

முன்னுரை
பெரியோர்கள் ஒரே மாதிரி சிந்திப்பார்கள் Great Men Think Alike என்பது ஆன்றோர் வாக்கு. 38 நாடகங்களையும், 154 கவிதைகளையும் புனைந்த ஷேக்ஸ்பியர் ஒரு பெரிய சிந்தனையாளர், நாடக நடிகர் , நாடகம் படைத்தவர், மஹா மேதை என்பதை உலகம் அறியும். அவருடைய நாடக கதா பாத்திரங்களை சம்ஸ்க்ருத நாடகங்களுடனும் படைப்புகளுடனும் ஒப்பிட்டு பல நூல்கள் வெளியாகியுள்ளன. ஆயினும் தலைப்பு வாரியாக அவரது படைப்புகளை ஒப்பிட்டு தமிழ் நூல்கள் வெளியாகவில்லை; ஒரு வேளை, அந்தக் காலத்தில் யாரேனும் முயற்சி செய்து இருக்கலாம்.. சொல்லப்போனால் ஷேக்ஸ்பியர் நாடகங்களை அப்படியே சொல்லுக்குச் சொல், வரிக்கு வரி யாரும் தமிழில் மொழிபெயர்க்கவும் இல்லை. கதைகளைத் தழுவிய நூல்களும், நாடகக் கதை சுருக்கங்களும் மட்டுமே வெளியாகின. காரணம் என்னவெனில் அவரது ஆங்கிலம் 600 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முந்திய ஆங்கிலம்; அவரே ஆயிரத்துக்கும் மேலான புதிய சொற்களை உருவாக்கியுள்ளார். அவர் உபயோகித்த ஆங்கிலச் சொற்களின் பொருள் இப்போது அடியோடு மாறிவிட்டது. ஆங்கிலப் பாடம் பயில்வோர் கூட அவரது ஆங்கிலத்தை மொழிபெயர்த்தே படிக்கவேண்டியுள்ளது அதாவது நமது கால ஆங்கிலத்தில் மொழிபெயர்த்தே படிக்கவேண்டியுள்ளது; நானும் கூட அதிக நேரம் செலவிட்டு தமிழ், ஸம்ஸ்க்ருதப் பாக்களுடன் ஒப்பிட்டேன்.
ஷேக்ஸ்பியர் நாடகங்களை அப்படியே தமிழில் மொழிபெயர்க்க ஆங்கில அறிவும், தமிழ் அறிவும், நாடகம் அல்லது கதைகளை எழுதும் புலமையும் தேவை. லண்டனில் பி பி சி தமிழோசையில் சங்கர் அண்ணா மொழிபெயர்த்த நாடகங்களில் நானும் நடித்து இருக்கிறேன். அவரும் கூட அதை புஸ்தகமாகப் போடுவதற்கும் வெளியிடுவதற்கும் மறுத்துவிட்டார். காரணம் அவை கதைத் தழுவல்கள்தான்; சில நேரங்களில் தமிழ்ச் சுவைக்காக ஒரிஜினல் வரிகளை மாற்ற வேண்டியிருந்தது.
என்னுடைய இந்த நூலில் பணம், பெண்கள் , பேய்கள், சகுனங்கள், மூட நம்பிக்கைகள், ஜோதிடம், தேசபக்தி, பொறாமை போன்ற 22 தலைப்புகளில் ஷேக்ஸ்பியரது கருத்துக்களை ஒப்பிவிட்டு எழுதியுள்ளேன். நான் முன்னர் எழுதிய கட்டுரைகளை அல்லது அவற்றின் பகுதிகளை எடுத்து ஒப்பிட்டதால் முன்னர் எழுதிய விஷயங்கள் மீண்டும், மீண்டும் வரும். அவை இல்லாமல் ஒப்பிட முடியாது. ஒவ்வொன்றுக்கும் சில எடுத்துக்காட்டுகளை மட்டுமே தமிழில் கொடுத்தேன். அல்லது புத்தகம் பெருத்துவிடும்; சுவையும் குன்றிவிடும்.
படித்து மகிழுங்கள்; இதைப் படித்த பின்னர் ஷேக்ஸ்பியரின் நாடகங்களை முழுக்கப் படிக்க வேண்டும் என்ற ஆர்வம் எழும் என்று நம்புகிறேன்.
நெக்லஸைக் காணோம். வைர நெக்லஸ். கல்யாண வீடு. மணப்பெண் கீதாவின் அறை. கீதா அழ, அவளது அம்மா சீதா பிரமித்து விக்கித்து நிற்க ஒரே சோகமயமாக இருந்தது அந்த அறை; காலை எட்டு மணிக்கு இப்படி ஒரு திடுக்கிடும் செய்தி. இன்னும் இரண்டு மணி நேரத்தில் தாலி கட்டியாக வேண்டும்.
“ஹெல்ப். ப்ளீஸ்டா, மகேஷ்” சீதா கெஞ்சினாள். மகேஷ் ஒரு பிரைவேட் டிடெக்டிவ் கம்பெனியைச் சொந்தமாக நடத்துபவன்.
“கவலைப்படாதே! இன்னும் தாலி கட்ட இரண்டு மணி நேரம் இருக்கு” என்ற மகேஷ் கீதாவை நோக்கினான்: “அழாதே, கடைசியா நெக்லஸை, எங்கே வைத்திருந்தாய். சொல்லு” என்றான்.
“ஆறு மணிக்கு காப்பி சாப்பிடும் போது டிரஸ்ஸிங் டேபிள் மேலே இருந்தது. அது மேலே பூவைக் கொண்டு யாரோ வச்சிருக்கா. இப்ப பார்த்தா நெக்லஸைக் காணோம்:
விக்கித்தவாறே கீதா விவரித்தாள்.
“சரி, யார் யார் இங்கே வந்தது? அதைச் சொல்”
“சமையற்காரர் சாமா காப்பி கொடுக்க வந்தார். நம்ம வேலைக்காரி மீனாட்சி பூ கொண்டு வந்தாள். என் பிரண்டு கோகிலா வந்தாள். அப்புறம் நம்ம மாமாவோட சொந்தக்காரப் பையன் ரவி என்னைப் பார்த்து கங்ராஜுலேட் பண்ணிட்டுப் போனான்.
அப்புறம் மண்டபத்தில் அலங்காரம் செய்றவங்க இரண்டு பேர் வந்துட்டு போனாங்க.
இப்ப அம்மா, நீ” – நிறுத்தினாள் கீதா.
இந்த ஆறு பேரையும் ஒவ்வொருத்தராக இங்க வரச் சொல்லு” என்று சீதாவிடம் கூறிய மகேஷ் நெக்லஸின் விலை என்ன என்று கேட்டான்.
“மூணரை லட்சம் ரூபாய்டா” என்றாள் சீதா.
முதலில் சமையல்காரர் சாமா வந்தார். என்ன விஷயம்? என்றார். பளீரென்று மகேஷ் கேட்டான்: “நெக்லஸ் எங்கே?
”ஹி ஹி என்று சிரித்த சாமா “சமையல் அறை டெஸ்க் மேலே இருக்கு. ஆமாம், நீங்க வெற்றிலை போடுவேளா” என்றார்.
திடுக்கிட்ட அனைவரும் டெஸ்க் மேலே நெக்லஸா? என்றனர்.
சாமா விவரித்தார்: “என்னோட வெத்திலைப் பெட்டி பேர் தான் நெக்லஸ். அதை எப்போதும் பையிலே வச்சு கழுத்திலே தொங்கப் போட்டிருப்பேன். அதுனாலே அதுக்கு நெக்லஸ்னு பேர் வச்சுட்டாங்க நம்ப பசங்க” என்றார் அவர்.
“சரி கொஞ்சம் இங்கேயே இருங்க” என்ற மகேஷ் மீனாட்சியை வரச் சொல் என்றான்.
உள்ளே வந்த மீனாட்சியிடம் அதே கேள்வியைக் கேட்க அவள் அலறி விட்டாள். “ஐயையோ, காணோமா, ஆயிரம் தடவை சொல்லிட்டேனே, இப்படி அலட்சியமா இருக்கக்கூடாதுன்னு. எடுத்து வைன்னு காலைல ஆறு மணிக்குக் கூடச் சொன்னேனே”
மீனாட்சியை அங்கே இருக்கச் சொன்ன மகேஷ், “சரி அடுத்து கோகிலாவை வரச் சொல்” என்றான் மகேஷ். நெக்லஸ் என்று வாயைத் திறந்ததும் அவள் ஓவென்று அலறினாள்.
“அதை நான் தானே வாங்கித் தந்தேன். ஸ்பெஷலா ஆர்டர் செய்த வாங்கினேன். என் அங்கிள் கடைலே”.
“ப்ளீஸ் வெய்ட்” என்ற மகேஷ், “சரி, மண்டபக்காரர்களை வரச் சொல் என்றான்.
“சார், நாங்க உள்ளேயே வரலை சார். அரை நிமிஷத்திலே பூவைக் கொடுத்துட்டு போயிட்டோம்: என்றார்கள் அவர்கள். சரி, இங்கேயே கொஞ்சம் இருங்க என்றான் மகேஷ்.
கடைசியாக வரவேண்டியது ரவி தான்.
“ரவி, நெக்லஸ் ஒன்றைக் காணோம். பார்த்தயா?” மகேஷ் கேட்க ரவி சீரியஸான முகத்துடன் “ஆ” என்று அலறி விட்டு தன் பையை எல்லாம் காண்பித்தான்.
“நான் நேரே ஸ்டேஷன்லேர்ந்து இங்கே வந்தேன். கங்க்ராஜுலேட் பண்ணேன். அதோ என் பை அங்கே ஹாலில் இருக்கு. அதிலே வேணும்னாலும் பாருங்கள். தாலி கட்டியவுடன் மத்தியான ரயிலைப் பிடிச்சு ஊருக்குப் போகணும்”
மகேஷ் கேட்டான்: “வந்தது எந்த ரயிலு?’ “காலைலே வந்தேனே, பாண்டியன் எக்ஸ்பிரஸ் . அஞ்சரை மணிக்கு வந்தது. கரெக்ட் டைம். நேரே இங்க வந்தேன். இப்ப மத்தியானம் பஸ்ஸை பிடிச்சு ஊருக்குப் போகணும். நாளைக்கு ஒரு மீட்டிங்”
“ஐயோ, இது என்ன அபாண்டம், என் பையைக் காண்பிக்கிறேன்: என்ற மகேஷ் ஓடிச் சென்று தன் பையைத் திறந்து கொட்டினான். அதில் நெக்லஸ் இல்லை.
“சார், நாங்க தான் இவரோட பையை எங்க வண்டிக்குப் பக்கத்திலே பூச்செடி கிட்ட வச்சோம். அவர் வந்தவுடன் அதை எடுத்து எங்க கைலே கொடுத்து மண்டபத்திலே வைக்கச் சொல்லிட்டார் சார்” என்றனர் மண்டபக்காரர்கள்.
உடனே மகேஷ் அவர்களிடம்” எந்த இடத்தில் பையை வைத்தீர்கள், சற்று காண்பியுங்கள்” என்றான்
மண்டப வாசலில் இருந்த பூச்செடியை அவர்கள் காண்பித்தனர். “சார் இங்க வந்து பையை வாங்கிட்டார்” என்றார்கள் மண்டப வேலைக்காரர்கள்.
பூச்செடியைக் கவனமாகப் பார்த்த மகேஷ கையை விட்டு அதைச் சுற்றித் தோண்டினான்.
‘அட நெக்லஸ்’. அனைவரும் ஆவென்று அலறி விட்டனர்.
“போலீஸ் வந்து உன்னைக் கைது செய்வதற்குள் ஓடிப் போ. சொந்தக்காரன் என்பதால் விடுகிறேன்” என்றான் மகேஷ்.
எல்லோரும் ஆச்சரியத்தின் எல்லைக்கே போய் விட்டனர்.
சீதா கண்களில் மகிழ்ச்சி பொங்க, “எப்படிடா கண்டுபிடிச்சே” என்று மகேஷை கேட்டாள்.
“ஒண்ணுமில்லைக்கா. சிம்பிள். இன்று பாண்டியன் எக்ஸ்பிரஸ் வரவே இல்லை. ஒரு ரயில் டீ ரெயில் ஆயிடுத்து. அது வர இன்னும் நான்கு மணி நேரம் ஆகும். என் பிரண்டைக் கூப்பிட ஸ்டேஷனுக்குப் போனேன். அப்பதான் இது தெரிஞ்சது. ஆகவே, ரவி பொய் சொல்ரான்னு தெரிஞ்சது. பூச்செடியில் மற்ற இடமெல்லாம் காய்ஞ்சி இருக்கு. அதன் வேர் கிட்ட மட்டும் ஈரமா இருக்கு. அப்பறமா வந்து எடுத்துக்கலாம்னு இங்கே புதைச்சு வச்சுட்டான். கீதா அசந்த ஒரு நிமிஷத்திலே இதை பாக்கெட்லே போட்டிருக்கான்” – மகேஷின் விளக்கம் ஒரு புறம் இருக்க மண்டபத்தில் நாதஸ்வர , மேள சத்தம் ஓங்கிக் கேட்டது.
இது சாதாரண நெக்லஸ் இல்லை. ரோஜா நெக்லஸ் என்று ரோஜா செடியைச் சுட்டிக் காட்டியவாறே அதை வாங்கிக் கொண்ட சீதா தன் பெண்ணின் கழுத்தில் அதைச் சூட்டினாள். அனைவர் முகமும் மலர்ந்தது!

விநாயகர் அகவலுக்கு புதிய ஆராய்ச்சி உரை (book title)
முன்னுரை
விநாயகர் அகவல் பற்றி நிறைய விளக்க உரைகள் வெளியாகிவிட்டன . அவைகளை எழுதிய சான்றோர்களுக்கு என் பணிவான வணக்கங்கள். ஆயினும் விநாயகர் அகவலைப் படித்தபோது தமிழ் நூல்களை மட்டும் மேற்கோள் காட்டாமல் சம்ஸ்க்ருத செய்யுட்களையும் மேற்கோள் காட்டி நான் எழுதியுள்ளேன். அது ஒன்றுதான் இந்த நூலை மற்ற பெரியோர்களின் வியாக்கியானங்களோடு வேறுபடுத்திக் காட்டுகிறது; ஆன்றோர்கள் சொன்ன விளக்க உரைகளை மறுக்காமல் அதற்கு உறுதுணையகவே எழுதியுள்ளேன் .
மதுரையில் கால் நூற்றாண்டுக்கு மேலாக நேரு ஆலால சுந்தர விநாயகரையும் மீனாட்சி கோவிலில் முக்குறுணிப் பிள்ளையாரையம் அடிக்கடி வணங்கிய புண்ணியத்தினால், சுவாமிஜி கிருஷ்ணா அவர்களிடமிருந்து சிறிய கணபதி மந்திரமும் எனக்கு உபதேசம் ஆகியது. அத்தோடு ஐம்பது ஆண்டுகளுக்கும் மேலாக நாள்தோறும் விநாயக கவசத்தைப் படிக்கும் வழக்கமும் ஏற்பட்டது ; அவைதான் இந்த நூலை எழுதத் தூண்டின என்று எண்ணுகிறேன். கவச மந்திரங்கள் செய்யும் அற்புதங்களையும் சொல்லிவிட்டு முக்கிய தமிழ், சம்ஸ்க்ருத பிள்ளையார் துதிகளையும் இணைத்துள்ளேன் அனைவரும் இவைகளைப் படித்து விநாயகப் பெருமானின் அருள்பெற்று விக்கினங்களையெல்லாம் நீக்கவேண்டும். யான் பெற்ற இன்பம் பெறுக இவ்வையகம் என்று கணபதியை வேண்டுகிறேன்.

கலிதோஷம் போக்கும் கந்தபுராணம் (பாராயண நூல்)

கள்ளக்குறிச்சி கந்தபுராண ஞானஸபையின் வெளியீடாக கலிதோஷம் போக்கும் கந்தபுராணம் என்ற நூல் வெளி வந்துள்ளது.
நூலைத் தொகுத்தவர் சிவஶ்ரீ தில்லை எஸ். கார்த்திகேய சிவம் அவர்கள்.
பத்தாயிரத்திற்கும் மேலான பாடல்கள் அடங்கிய கந்தபுராண நூலை முழுவதுமாகப் பாராயணம் செய்வது பழங்காலத்தில் வழக்கமாக இருந்தது.
அதிவேக நவீன யுகத்தில் இப்படி முழுவதுமாகப் பாராயணம் செய்வது குறைந்து வருகிறது.
கந்தபுராண பாராயணத்தை ஊக்குவிக்கும் விதமாக ஆறு காண்டங்களிலிருந்து 378 பாடல்களைத் தேர்ந்தெடுத்து இந்த நூலில் அளித்துள்ளார் நூலாசிரியர்.
‘ஸ்கந்தஸ்ய கீர்த்திமதுலாம் கலிகல்மஷ நாசினீம்’ என்ற ஸ்கந்த புராண வாக்கியத்தைச் சுட்டிக் காட்டி கலியின் கல்மஷத்தைப் போக்க கந்தபுராண பாராயணமே சிறந்தது என்பதைச் சுட்டிக் காட்டுகிறார் தில்லை கார்த்திகேய சிவம்.
இந்த நூலுக்கு ஆசியுரையை கூனம்பட்டி ஆதீனம் ஶ்ரீலஶ்ரீ குருமகா சந்நிதானம் அவர்களும், அருளுரையை தருமை ஆதீனம் ஶ்ரீலஶ்ரீ நட்சத்திர குருமணிகள் அவர்களும், ஆசியுரையை மயிலாடுதுறை சிவபுரம் வேத சிவாகம பாடசாலை குரு முதல்வர் திரு ஏ.வி. சுவாமிநாத சிவாசாரியார் அவர்களும் வழங்கியுள்ளனர்.

When I went to Chennai on 14-3-2025, I took the following pictures once again from the album of my brother Late S Srinivasan.
These are the pictures of Kanchi Shankaracharaya Sri Chandrasekhara Indra Saraswathy (1894-1994). My father late V Santanam, News Editor of Dinamani, Madurai was an ardent follower of Kanchi and Sringeri Shankaracharayas. He invited Kanchi Paramacharya to Madurai Dinamani office, may be 50 or 60 years ago.

Pudukottai Sri Gopalkrishna Bhagavathar used to conduct overnight Bhajans in my house in Madurai Norh Masi Street or Dhanappamudali theru Sankara Iyer house or in the house of Lakshmana Iyer near Chellathamman Koil. As school boys, we used to sleep half way through the all night Bhajan.
He was the pioneer of Sampradaya Bhajan. He used to conduct Unchavrttis in the Agraharams of Madurai

Pudukottai Gopalakrishna Bhagavathar, known as ‘Appa’ was quite instrumental in bringing up the bhajan tradition to what it is today. He practised daily unchavrithi in Pudhukottai near Trichy in Tamilnadu . His involvement in the bhajana sampradaya was immeasurable. He is one of the foremost bhakthas of the present day, and we could witness this great and most venerable Bhagavath Bhaktha spend his days by singing kirtanaas to the tune of Thambura and dancing fully absorbed in the ecstatic, Ananda of divine love, from morning till night in rending bhajans. He has travelled all over India and spread “Sampradhaya Bhajan among the various people and established “Sampradhaya Bhajan.
He was a star attraction and a crowd puller in those days. Very religious, strict abider of sampradhaya. He was considered a Very good singer. He was adhering to paddathi always but very innovative in approach. He was popular for introducing namavalis. What we sing as abhangs nowadays are the tunes composed by him and a great gift from this Mahaan. A very noble hearted man, he foresaw that namasankeerthanam will take a great part in a man’s pursuit one day and compiled many songs, abhangs, and from all dravidian languages. He was associated with all the greats of those days and maintained an unique place too. He used to conduct Radhakalyanam at Nungambakkam and Triplicane regularly.
Singing for the benefit of listeners was his technique and we all have adopted this. He was a good organizer. He started Panduranga Bhajan Mandali and till now it is growing in leaps and bounds. He had ardent devotees and shishyaas to carry on his mission. T.S.Krishna Murthy, Venkatesa Bagavathar and many more are there to mention. An abhangam of all he sang still rings in ones’ ears.. “Nama gethaa utaa uti”. A beautiful tune still mesmerizing.
He brought out a tamil bhajan sampradhaya bhajan book with the help of his great admirer and shishyaa “Kodai Idi A.K.Gopala Iyengar” which is till now very popular. He has left behind his entire clan to carry on his Mission.
