Sanskrit Deva Bhasa and Pundit Bhasa!

Sanskrit is Alive! Sanskrit will Never die!!!
Compiled by London Swaminathan
Post No.1146; Dated 3rd July 2014.

Famous educational institutions around the world have their mottos in Sanskrit. It shows that Sanskrit is ever alive. It shows that Sanskrit is not only Deva Bhasa (Language of the Gods), but also the Bhasa of the educated scholars. As it is always associated with great scholars like Yajnavalkya, Maitreyi, Gargi, Kalidasa, Panini and Patanjali, even now we see only Sanskrit mottos in the scholarly institutions. World class scholars, scientists, engineers and doctors are produced by these educational institutions.
Many blogs have already listed most of the mottos listed below. What I have done ‘new’ is reproducing them subject wise so that it would be useful to quote them in articles, posts and blogs.
