LINGUSISTS have been bluffing a lot for long about Tamil and Sanskrit languages. I have been rolling the big heads in this field by showing examples from Tamil, Sanskrit, Avestan and Greek.
We see the SAME sound (phonetic) changes, spelling changes etc in the socalled Semitic, Dravidian and Aryan languages. Thousands of Tamil words are in English. Sari/Sadi/Choli/Selai /Seerai are good examples to explode their myths.
Linguistic classification of languages may look right superficially. But it is not correct. Words in most of the ancient languages can be traced back to Tamil or Sanskrit. The same ‘root’ divides in to two branches, one Tamil way and another Sanskrit way.
I read one linguistic comment on the first mantra of the Rig Veda, the oldest book in the world. Aryans were saying ‘Agni meeDe prohitam’ before entering India and then changed it to ‘Agni meeLe prohitam’ after mixing with the ‘native’ population. This D=L change has nothing to do with racial mix or language mix.
The following words show this ,
RAMALAN –RAMADAN – RAMJAN/RAMZAN
UTKALA- ORISSA- ODISAH
CHOZA – CODA- COROMANDAL COAST)
SAREE/SARI- SELAI- SADI-SEERAI
NADI- NAZI- NAAR- NERVE- NARAMBU
RAJA-ROYAL -REGAL- REGNAL-RAO-RAW
GARUDA IN RIG VEDA= KALUZAN IN TAMIL DEVOTIONAL LITERATURE. (D=L)
((ரமலான் RAMALAN – ரமதான் RAMADAN – ரம்ஜான் RAMJAN/RAMZAN
உத்கல – ஒரிஸ்ஸா- ஒடிசா UTKALA- ORISSA- ODISAH
சோழ CHOZA – சோடCODA- கோர (மண்டல COROMANDAL COAST)
ஸாரி -சாடி -சேலா – சீரை -சேலை SAREE/SARI- SELA- SADI
கருடன் – கலுழன் (ஆழ்வார் பாடல், கம்ப ராமாயணம்)
நாடி – நாழி-நார் -(நரம்பு) NADI- NAZI- NAR- NERVE- NARAMBU
திகடச் சக்கர = திகழ் +தசக்கர (கந்தபுராண முதல் பாடலும் இலக்கண சர்ச்சையும்)
ராஜ – ராயல் – ரெக்னல் – ரீகல் – ராவ் – ராயர் RAJA-ROYAL -REGAL- REGNAL-RAO-RAW))
Of these words Choza Dynasty name is important.
In Asokan inscriptions and in Vartika of Katyana on Paninian Sutras and in very late Telugu Coda inscriptions we see coda; westerners changed it to coRomandal . We see D=L=R changes.
Sanskrit speakers retained D even during later Telugu Coda period. English people changed it to R (coRomondal) . The above list shows D=L=R changes happened irrespective of racial or geographical boundaries.

Now let us look at Sari/Saree
In women’s Saree also we see this R=L=D changes. Choli and Mahrati Sadi are there while Tamils used Seerai 2000 years ago in Sangam Tamil book Thiru Murugatrup Padai (line 126). 1000 years later Kamban also used it for Sita’s dress in Kamba Ramayanam . In Tamil it is described as a bark garment. Later it changed it to Selai in Tamil. Sanskrit has Chatika for woman’s dress. Telugu and Kannada retained old Tamil Seerai or Sera. To complete our research, we need to put them in chronological order. Tamils take the word back to 2000 years but in only one place in 30000 lines!! Sanskrit has the word with T/D sound. Seerai my not be a Tamil word.
Going back to sculptures , we see saree like dress even in 2300 years sculptures. Here we looked at words only.
