தஞ்சையில் ரூ.500 கோடி மதிப்பிலான மரகத லிங்கம் மீட்பு

தஞ்சாவூரில் வங்கி லாக்கரில் இருந்த ரூ.500 கோடி மதிப்பிலான மரகத லிங்கத்தை சிலை கடத்தல் தடுப்பு பிரிவினர் மீட்டுள்ளனர்.

தஞ்சாவூரில் வங்கி லாக்கரில் இருந்த ரூ.500 கோடி மதிப்பிலான பச்சை மரகத லிங்கத்தை சிலை கடத்தல் தடுப்பு பிரிவினர் மீட்டுள்ளனர். இது தொடர்பாக சிலை கடத்தல் தடுப்பு பிரிவு ஏடிஜிபி அபய்குமார் சிங் கூறியதாவது: தஞ்சை அருளானந்தநகர் சாமியப்பன் என்பவரது வங்கி லாக்கரில் இருந்த மரகத லிங்கம் மீட்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. எவ்வித ஆவணங்களும் இல்லாததால் பச்சை மரகத லிங்கம் மீட்கப்பட்டது. இதன் மதிப்பு, ரூ.500 கோடியாகும்.

மீட்கப்பட்ட சிலை 2016ல் நாகை திருக்குவளையில் உள்ள கோயிலில் காணாமல் போனது என கண்டுபிடிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. சாமியப்பனுக்கு எப்படி மரகத லிங்கம் கிடைத்தது என்பது குறித்து விசாரணை நடக்கிறது. இவ்வாறு அவர் கூறினார்.

திருத்தணி கோவிலில் நடைபெறும் படித்திருவிழாவில் குவிந்த பக்தர்கள்

திருத்தணி சுப்பிரமணிய சுவாமி கோயிலில் ஆண்டு தோறும் டிச., 31-ம் தேதி திருப்படித் திருவிழா வெகு விமர்சையாக கொண்டாடுவது வழக்கம். மலைக்கோவிலுக்கு செல்வதற்கு, 365 படிகள் அமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன இந்த படிக்கட்டுகள் ஒரு வருடத்திற்கான நாட்களை குறிப்பதால் ஆங்கில புத்தாண்டு வழிபாடு இங்கு விமரிசையாக நடந்து வருகிறது. இதில் பக்தர்கள் திரளானோர் கலந்து கொண்டனர். படிகளில் மஞ்சள், குங்குமம் பூசி கற்பூரம் ஏற்றி வழிபடுவர்.

அதன்படி டிசம்பர் 31-ம் தேதி திருத்தணி கோவிலில் படித்திருவிழா நடைபெற்றது. காலை 8.30 மணி அளவில் திருத்தணி மலைக்கோவில் அடிவாரத்தில் எம்.எல்.ஏக்கள். ,அதிகாரிகள் கலந்து கொண்டு படித்து விழாவை தொடங்கி வைத்தனர். விழாவில் 50-க்கும் மேற்பட்ட பஜனை குழுவினர், ஒவ்வொரு திருபடிகள் வழியாக தேவாரம், திருவாசகம், திருப்புகழ் பாடல்களை பாடியவாறு மலைக்கோவிலுக்கு சென்று மூலவரை தரிசனம் செய்தனர்.

பக்தர்கள் ஏராளமானோர் குவிந்து இருந்தனர். அவர்கள் ஒவ்வொரு படிகளுக்கும் மஞ்சள், குங்குமம், வைத்து மலர் தூவி வழிபட்டனர். பக்தர்களுக்கு தேவையான அடிப்படை வசதிகள் கோவில் நிர்வாகம் செய்துஇருந்தனர். புத்தாண்டு தினமான நேற்று சிறப்பு தரிசனமும் நடைபெற் றது.

காஷ்மீர் வைஷ்ணவ தேவி கோயிலில் மீண்டும் தரிசனம் துவக்கம்

காஷ்மீர் வைஷ்ணவ தேவி கோவிலில் வழக்கமான தரிசனம் துவங்கிவிட்டது. என்றும் இரண்டு குழுக்கள் இடையே ஏற்பட்ட சலசலப்பால் நிகழ்ந்த ஜன நெரிசலை அதிகாரிகள் ஐந்தே நிமிடத்தில் கட்டுப்படுத்தினர் என்றும் கோவில் நிர்வாகம் அறிவித்துள்ளது. சனிக்கிழமையன்று 27000 பேர் மாதா வைஷ்ணவி தேவியை தரிசனம் செய்தனர்.

இரண்டு நாட்களுக்கு முன்னால் வைஷ்ணவ தேவி கோயிலில் ஏற்பட்ட நெரிசலில் சிக்கி 12 பக்தர்கள் பலியாகினர். 10க்கும் மேற்பட்டோர் காயமுற்றனர்.

காஷ்மீரின் கட்ரா என்ற பகுதியில் வைஷ்ணவ தேவி கோயில் உள்ளது. புத்தாண்டு என்பதால் ஆயிரக்கணக்கானவர்கள் தரிசனம் செய்ய வந்திருந்தனர். கூட்டம் அதிகம் வர பக்தர்கள் முண்டியடித்தனர். வரிசையில் இருந்தவர்கள் பலர் அம்மனை வணங்க வேகமாக செல்ல முற்பட்டனர். இதனால் நெரிசல் ஏற்பட்டது.

விபத்து குறித்து விசாரிக்க கமிட்டி அமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
இந்த சம்பவத்திற்கு ஜனாதிபதி ராம்நாத் கோவிந்த் மற்றும் பிரதமர் மோடி ஆழ்ந்த இரங்கல் தெரிவித்துள்ளனர். உயிரிழந்த குடும்பத்தினருக்கு தலா ரூ. 2 லட்சமும், காயமுற்றவர்களுக்கு ரூ.50 ஆயிரமும் வழங்க பிரதமர் உத்தரவிட்டுள்ளார். மாநில அரசும் பெரும் உதவித்தொகையை அறிவித்தது

பக்தர்களில் இளம் வயதினரும் இருந்தனர். அதிலுள்ள இரண்டு குழுக்களிடம் ஏற்பட்ட மோதலே ஜன நெரிசலை உண்டாக்கியது என்று பெரிய போலீஸ் அதிகாரி தெரிவித்தார்.

இந்த விபத்து பற்றி விசாரித்து எதிர்காலத்தில் இப்படி நடக்காமல் தடுக்க மூன்று பேர் குழுவை அரசாங்கம் அமைத்துள்ளது

பாலாஜி வெங்கடேச பெருமாள் உண்டியல் வருவாய் ரூ.833 கோடி

திருப்பதி திருமலையில் உள்ள பாலாஜி வெங்கடேச பெருமாள் கோவிலில் கடந்தாண்டு உண்டியல் காணிக்கை 833 கோடி ரூபாய் வசூலானதாக தேவஸ்தானம் தெரிவித்து உள்ளது.

கொரோனா பரவல் காரணமாக திருமலைக்கு வரும் பக்தர்களின் எண்ணிக்கை வெகுவாக குறைந்துள்ளது. அதனால் உண்டியல் வருவாயும் குறைந்துள்ளது. உண்டியல் வருமானம் மட்டுமே தேவஸ்தானத்தின் முதல் பெரிய வருமானமாக கருதப்படுகிறது.

கடந்தாண்டு உண்டியல் வருவாய் பெருமளவில் குறைந்து உள்ளது.வழக்கமாக 1,200 கோடி ரூபாய்க்கும் அதிகமாக கிடைத்து வந்த ஆண்டு உண்டியல் வருவாய், இந்தாண்டு 833 கோடி ரூபாயாக குறைந்து உள்ளது. மேலும் 1.04 கோடி பக்தர்கள் மட்டுமே இந்தாண்டு ஏழுமலையானை தரிசனம் செய்துஉள்ளனர்; 48.75 லட்சம் பக்தர்கள் முடி காணிக்கை செலுத்தி உள்ளனர்; 5.96 கோடி லட்டு பிரசாதம் விற்பனை செய்யப்பட்டு உள்ளது.

வழக்கமாக நாளொன்றுக்கு சுமார் 90 ஆயிரம் பக்தர்கள் வரை தரிசிப்பர். ஆனால் கடந்த 2 ஆண்டுகளாக கட்டுப்பாடுகள் காரணமாக சுமார் 20 ஆயிரம் பக்தர்கள் வரை மட்டுமே அனுமதிக்கப்பட்டனர். சில நாட்களில் மட்டும் கூடுதலாக 5 ஆயிரம் பக்தர்கள் அனுமதிக்கப்பட்டனர்.

ஏழுமலையானுக்கு கார் நன்கொடை

ஏழுமலையானுக்கு ‘இன்னோவா’ கார் நன்கொடையாக வழங்கப்பட்டது.திருமலை திருப்பதி தேவஸ்தான அறங்காவலர் குழு உறுப்பினர் விஸ்வநாத் என்பவர் 29 லட்சம் ரூபாய் மதிப்புள்ள இன்னோவா கிரஸ்டா காரை, நேற்று காலை கோவிலுக்கு நன்கொடையாக வழங்கினார். தேவஸ்தான கூடுதல் செயல் அதிகாரி தர்மாரெட்டியிடம் காருக்கான சாவி மற்றும் ஆவணங்களை விஸ்வநாத் அளித்தார்.

திருப்பதியில் புத்தாண்டு விசே‌ஷ பூஜைகள் ரத்து

திருப்பதி கோவிலில் ஆங்கில புத்தாண்டையொட்டி விசே‌ஷ பூஜைகள் பூஜைகள் மற்றும் அலங்காரம் நடைபெறுவது வழக்கம். இந்த ஆண்டு கொரோனா, ஒமைக்ரான் பரவல் காரணமாக விசே‌ஷ பூஜைகள், கூடுதலாக பக்தர்களை தரிசனத்திற்கு அனுமதிப்பது ரத்து செய்யப்பட்டன.

வைகுண்ட ஏகாதசியையொட்டி ஜனவரி 13-ந்தேதி முதல் 22-ந்தேதி வரை வைகுண்ட வாசல் வழியாக பக்தர்கள் தரிசனத்திற்கு அனுமதிக்கப்பட உள்ளனர். ஜனவரி மாதத்திற்கான ரூ.300 டிக்கெட்டுகள் ஆன்லைனில் கடந்த வாரம் வெளியிடப்பட்டது.

கொரோனா தொற்று பரவல் காரணமாக இன்று நேரடியாக வழங்கப்பட இருந்த இலவச தரிசன டிக்கெட்டுகள் ஜனவரி 10-ந்தேதி வழங்கப்படும் என திருப்பதி தேவஸ்தான அதிகாரிகள் தெரிவித்தனர்.

சிபாரிசு கடிதங்கள் ஏற்கப்பட மாட்டாது

திருமலை-திருப்பதி தேவஸ்தானம் வெளியிட்டுள்ள செய்திக் குறிப்பில் கூறியிருப்பதாவது:-

திருப்பதி கோவிலில் ஜனவரி 13-ந்தேதியில் இருந்து 22-ந்தேதி வரை முக்கிய வி.ஐ.பி. பக்தர்கள் மட்டுமே சாமி தரிசனம் செய்ய வி.ஐ.பி. பிரேக் தரிசனத்தில் அனுமதிக்கப்பட உள்ளனர்.

பக்தர்கள் கொண்டு வரும் சிபாரிசு கடிதங்கள் ஏற்கப்பட மாட்டாது.
ஜனவரி 13-ந்தேதியில் இருந்து 22-ந்தேதி வரை 10 நாட்களுக்கு பக்தர்களுக்கு வைகுண்ட வாசல் தரிசனம் வழங்கப்படும்.

வைகுண்ட ஏகாதசியையொட்டி எம்.எல்.ஏ.க்கள், எம்.பி.க்கள், அரசு அதிகாரிகள் மற்றும் அவர்களுடைய குடும்பத்தினர் மட்டுமே சாமி தரிசனம் செய்ய அனுமதிக்கப்படுவார்கள். அவர்களுக்கு மட்டுமே வி.ஐ.பி. பிரேக் தரிசன டிக்கெட்டுகள் வழங்கப்படும். சாதாரண பக்தர்கள் சாமி தரிசனம் செய்ய அனுமதிக்கப்பட மாட்டார்கள்.

இவ்வாறு அதில் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது.

Karnataka CM Bommai vows to bring law to free temples from govt control, fulfil BJP poll promise

Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has announced plans to give the state’s temples autonomy from government control — a 2018 poll promise of the BJP, and a pet project of the Sangh Parivar.

A law to release temples from the administrative control of the government will be introduced before the budget session, he said Wednesday. The next session of the Karnataka legislature is expected to be held in February.

“My government will do it… Other than regulation, there shall be no restriction on administration or control of Hindu temples. There will be full freedom and autonomy,” Bommai said during his speech at the state executive meeting.

Bommai’s assurance was met with celebratory chants by party members.

“Our seniors have apprised me of their opinion on how places of worship belonging to other religions have separate laws to protect them and give them freedom of administration. But Hindu temples are restricted under government control. They have raised concerns over how the temples’ own funds can’t be spent unless there is bureaucratic consent,” the CM said, right before making the big announcement.

Senior RSS leaders have been demanding for years that all Hindu temples, like mosques and churches, be given a free hand in administration, and freed from government control. Freeing temples from the endowments department has featured prominently in the BJP’s election manifestos over the years.

Vaishno Devi yatra continues , Stampede probe report to be submitted soon

The Mata Vaishno Devi yatra is going on smoothly despite the early Saturday morning stampede that killed 12 people and left several others injured, an official spokesperson said, adding that about 27,000 pilgrims offered prayers at the cave shrine during the day.

After the stampede, the rescue operation was launched promptly by a joint team of the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, the district administration, police and the CRPF, the government spokesman said in a statement, adding “the situation was brought under control within a span of five minutes”.

“The yatra is continuing smoothly, with approximately 27,000 pilgrims having done darshan at the holy shrine today (Saturday),” the spokesman said.

He said Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, who is also the chairperson of the shrine board, has been personally monitoring the whole situation since early morning and also visited the Super-Specialty Hospital, Kakryal, and enquired about the health of the injured pilgrims and interacted with them.

He also directed the officials to ensure that the ex gratia amount of Rs 10 lakhs for the deceased and Rs 2 lakhs for the injured, already announced by the government, should be released in favour of the legal heirs on priority in a hassle free manner, the spokesman said.

It appears that some kind of minor scuffle between few pilgrims may have led to the stampede near Gate no.3, where the pathway has a steep gradient, the spokesman said.

The three-member panel set up to probe the stampede has been asked to submit its report to the Jammu and Kashmir government within a week, according to an official order issued on Saturday.

The committee headed by the principal secretary (home) was constituted by the Lt Governor Manoj Sinha.

“The Committee shall examine in detail the causes/reasons behind the incident (stampede) and point out the lapses and fix the responsibility thereof,” the order said.

It said the committee would submit its report within a week’s time to the government and also suggest appropriate standard

Tamil Nadu Police probe source of 500-cr emerald Shivalingam seized from bank locker

Tamil Nadu Police is on the pursuit of the source of Rs 500 crore worth Emerald Shivalingam that was recovered from a bank locker at Thanjavur.

Additional DGP K. Jayanth Murali, who is heading the investigation, told reporters that they are ascertaining from where the person in whose locker the lingam was recovered on Thursday sourced the idol. The police had acted following a tip that antique idols were kept at a house in Thanjavur.

They quizzed N.S. Arun, son of octogenarian Samiyappan, the owner of the lingam. However, he said that he did not know anything and that his father had kept an Emerald Lingam at the bank locker. Police found the emerald lingam and experts have confirmed it to be original.

Police are investigating whether the lingam was the one that went missing from a Shiva temple at Thirukuvalai in Nagapattinam district in 2016. Jayant Murali told the mediapersons that Samiyappan and Arun are cooperating with the investigation.

Haridwar: FIR Filed two more in ‘Dharma Sansad’ Case

The Dharma Sansad was organised on December 16 and 17 in Haridwar where reports of speeches targeting minorities had surfaced.

Names of Yati Narasimhananda and Sagar Sindhuraj were added in the FIR in connection with a case of hate speech during ‘Dharma Sansad’ that was held in Haridwar. “On the basis of the viral video clip, two more names, Sagar Sindhu Maharaj & Yati Narsinghanand Giri, have been added to the FIR in the Dharma Sansad hate speech case, upon further investigation. Section 295A has been included in the FIR,” said Uttarakhand Director General of Police, Ashok Kumar.

Dharma Das, Annapurna, Wasim Rizvi aka Jitendra Tyagi and some others were already booked earlier under Section 153A of the Indian Penal Code in this case.

After reviewing the clips, the police has also added Section 295 of the Indian Penal Code to the FIR.

The Dharma Sansad was organised on December 16 and 17 in Haridwar where reports of speeches targeting of minorities had surfaced.

The Uttarakhand Police had registered an FIR against Rizvi aka Jitendra Tygai, under Section 153A of the Indian Penal Code (promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion) in connection to the statements made by him during the event. The former chairman of the Uttar Pradesh Central Shia Waqf Board recently converted to Hinduism .

Names of Narsimhanand and Sindhuraj were added in the FIR after their videos surfaced on social media where they were giving out provocative speeches against minority community.

Jhansi railway station named after Rani Lakshmibai

The Jhansi railway station has finally been renamed as Veerangana Lakshmibai railway station, after the revered warrior queen.

The state government changed the name of the railway station following an approval from the Centre.

Earlier, the Mughalsarai railway station had been renamed as Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Railway Station.

The district of Allahabad has been renamed as Prayagraj and Faizabad is now Ayodhya.

Sultanpur, Mirzapur, Aligarh, Firozabad and Mainpuri are also on the list for a name change.

Meanwhile, proposals for changing the names of Ghazipur and Basti have also been put forth.

யோகவாசிஷ்டக் கதைகள்

ஆத்மாவே உண்மையான பந்து!

யோக வாசிஷ்டத்தில் மஹரிஷி வசிஷ்டருக்கும் ராமருக்குமான உபதேச உரையாடல் தொடர்கிறது :

வசிஷ்டரைப் பொறுத்த மட்டில் ஆத்மாவிற்கு ஆத்மாவே உண்மையான பந்து, அதாவது ஆத்மாவிற்கான உண்மையான உறவு ஆகும்.

ஒருவன் தனது சொந்த முயற்சியினாலேயே தன்னை உயர்த்திக் கொள்ள முடியும்.

{இங்கு கீதையில் கண்ணபிரான் கூறுவதை ஒப்பு நோக்கலாம் – ஆத்மைவ ஆத்மனோ பந்து: ஆத்மைவ ரிபு ராத்மன: ஆத்மாவிற்கு ஆத்மாவே பந்து; ஆத்மாவிற்கு ஆத்மாவே ரிபு (பகைவன்)}

இதை விளக்கும் விதமாக ராமருக்கு வசிஷ்டர் ஒரு கதையைக் கூறுகிறார்:-

மஹரிஷி அத்ரிக்கு மகன்களாகப் பிறந்த பாஸா, விலாஸா இருவரும் சகோதரர்கள். சிறந்த தவ வாழ்க்கையை மேற்கொள்ள அவர்களுக்கு பெற்றோர்களால் நல்ல பயிற்சி அளிக்கப்படுகிறது.

பாஸாவிற்கும் விலாஸாவிற்கும் அவர்கள் பெற்றோர் இறந்தவுடன் மிகவும் துக்கம் ஏற்படுகிறது. ஏனெனில் அவர்களுக்கு ஆத்ம ஞானம் ஏற்படாததால் தான்!

பின்னர் இருவரும் இரு வேறு திசைகளில் சென்று விடுகிறார்கள்.

சிறிது காலம் சென்ற பின்னர் இருவரும் மறுபடி ஒருவரை ஒருவர் சந்திக்கிறார்கள். இருவரும் ஒருவரை ஒருவர் நலம் விசாரித்துக் கொள்கின்றனர்.

தவ வாழ்க்கை எப்படி இருக்கிறது, தங்களது பார்வையில் ஏதேனும் மாறுதல் தென்படுகிறதா என்று ஒருவரை ஒருவர் விசாரித்துக் கொள்கின்றனர்.

பாஸா இதற்கு பதில் அளிக்கையில், பெற்றோரையோ நண்பர்களையோ இழந்ததால் ஏற்பட்ட துக்கத்தில் ஒருவன் தவிக்கும் வரை ஒருவன் நிம்மதியான மனதைப் பெற முடியாது என்றும் மன சாந்தியைப் பெறுவது என்பது ஆத்ம ஞானத்தைப் பெறும் போது தான் சாத்தியமாகும் என்றும் , அது வரையில் அதைப் பெறுவது முடியவே முடியாது என்றும் விடை அளிக்கிறார்.

இந்த சம்வாதம் (உரையாடல்) தொடர்கிறது.

முடிவில் அவர்கள் தங்களது மனதைக் கட்டுப்படுத்துகிறார்கள். முக்தியை அடைகிறார்கள்.

ஆத்மனும் உடலும் மிக நெருங்கி இருந்தாலும் கூட, அந்த இரண்டிற்கும் நுட்பமான தொடர்பு இல்லை.

அன்னங்கள் நீரில் மிதக்கின்றன; என்றாலும் கூட நீருக்கும் அவற்றிற்கும் ஒரு தொடர்பும் இல்லை.

கடற்கரை ஓரத்தில் நெடிதுயர்ந்த மலைகள் இருக்கின்றன. என்றாலும் கூட, அவை இரண்டுக்கும் ஒன்றுடன் ஒன்று தொடர்பில்லை.

என்றாலும் கூட நமது அறியாமையினால், நமது மனதையும் தேவையற்ற விஷயங்களையும் ஒன்றுடன் ஒன்றைத் தொடர்பு படுத்திக் கொள்கிறோம்.

ஆத்மாவை மனதுடன் அடையாளப்படுத்திக் கொள்வதாலேயே ஒருவன் சுகத்தையும் துக்கத்தையும் அடைகிறான்.

எப்போது ஒருவன் இந்த அடையாளத்தைத் துறந்து விடுகிறானோ, அப்போது அவன் உணர்ச்சிகளினால் பாதிக்கப்படுவதில்லை.

வசிஷ்டர் தொடர்ந்து ராமருக்கு கனவு பற்றிய ஒரு ஒப்புவமையைக் கூறுகிறார் :

ஓரிடத்தில் படுத்துக் கொண்டு தூங்கும் போதே கனவில் ஒருவன் எங்கெங்கோ சென்று பலவித உணர்ச்சிகளையும் அனுபவங்களையும் பெறுகிறான்.

உடலானது அந்த அனுபவங்களுடனும் உணர்ச்சிகளுடனும் தொடர்பு கொண்டிருக்கவில்லை என்பதை இது காட்டுகிறது.

மனமே ஒரு முகமையாக (Agengy) கர்த்ருத்வமாக இருக்கிறதே அன்றி உடல் அல்ல.

வசிஷ்டரின் கூற்றுப்படி மனத்திற்கும் ஆத்மாவிற்குமான தொடர்பு மனதினால் ஏற்படும் ஒன்றே தான்! ஆகவே இந்தத் தொடர்பிலிருந்து விடுபடுவது என்பது சாத்தியமான ஒன்று தான்!

உடல் என்பது ஜடம். அசையாதது. ஆத்மா என்பது சித்ரூபம். பிரக்ஞையே அதன் ரூபம். இந்த இரண்டும் தொடர்புக்குள்ளாகும் போது பிரக்ஞை ஒரு எல்லைக்குட்பட்டதாக ஆகி விடுகிறது. இந்த எல்லை உடைபடும் போது பிரக்ஞையானது எல்லையற்ற ஒன்றாக விரிந்து, தளைகளிலிருந்து விடுபட்டு, ஒருவன் ஜீவன் முக்தனாக ஆகி விடுகிறான்.

அற்புதமான வசிஷ்டரின் இந்த உபதேசத்தால் ஒருவனுக்கு பல இரகசியங்கள் புரிய வரும்.

யோக வாசிஷ்டம் அறிவுக்கு எட்டாத அற்புத இரகசியங்களை விண்டு உரைக்கும் நூல் அல்லவா?!

THE FIRST PART OF THIS ARTICLE WAS POSTED YESTERDAY UNDER THE TITLE “ TAMIL WITCHCRAFT IS 3000 YEAR OLD! FIVE MIRACLES OF ZOROASTER!!

THIS IS THE SECOND PART:–

Vishtaspa’s favourite horse Aspa Siha (Black Horse) was rolling on the ground in agony as his four legs disappeared into his stomach. Not all the medicine men of the land could cure him.

Zarathustra /Zoroaster heard this story from the keeper of the dungeon and offered to cure the sick horse. Permission was granted. After bathing, putting on clean clothes and saying his prayers, Zarathushtra presented himself in the courtroom.

Before he would cure the horse, Zarathushtra laid down four conditions. The first was that Vishtaspa should embrace the new doctrine. Vishtaspa agreed. Then the prophet stroked the right leg of the sick horse reciting certain prayers. Immediately the leg straightened and shot out.

The second condition was that , Zarathushtra be taken to the chambers of Queen Hutoxshi to whom he would explain the new faith and if she is convinced of its truth, she should embrace it. Permission was granted. Zarathushtra convinced the queen who gladly accepted the new faith . Zarathushtra returned to the court where he stroked the left leg of the horse reciting his prayers. That leg too straightened and shot out. The Prophet’s third condition was that the Crown Prince Asfandiar , be asked to swear on his sword that he would accept the new faith and spread it throughout the land and beyond. The prince agreed. The third leg shot out as , Zarathushtra stroked and recited certain prayers.

His last request was that the innkeeper be summoned and made to swear , on pain of death, to tell the truth as to how the putrid matter came to be under the pillow of the Prophet . The innkeeper was summoned and he confessed the truth, pointing out those courtiers responsible for the act. Vishtaspa ordered the guilty courtiers to be beheaded, but Zarathushtra pleaded that they should be banished instead as that would be punishment enough. And so they were led out from the gates of the city to fend for themselves. The horse Aspa Siha was completely cured.

My Comments

This miracle is similar to the miracle done by Tamil Boy Wonder Thiru Jnana Sambandar who straightened the back of great Pandya king in Madurai (Tamil Nadu, India), who was a hunch back and suffering from severe stomach pain. Young little boy Sambandar cured him with holy ash and Tamil Mantra.

Hutokshi is Suddha Akshi = Good Eye in Sanskrit. Even Tamil Sangam literature has a poet wit that name Nakkannai= Good Eye; we have Sulochana= Good Eye , a common name for girls.

One day , when travelling on a wintry road, he was refused hospitality by the favourite of a prince. For this he bears him a grudge , and he predicts his punishment on the day of judgement, when the good will be sorted out from the wicked.

Zarathushtra married three times and had 3 daughters and three sons. At the age of 77, he was murdered by a hostile border chief Tur- bara- Tur.

Zend Avesta and Zarathustra’s life have lot of Sanskrit names. The Parsees or Zoroastrians led a life like brahmins worshipping Fire every day. They wore sacred threads like brahmins. They worshipped Varuna as the supreme god instead of Indra. They praised Asuras instead of Devas. Probably he was a revolutionary against the established Vedic order. But there are common Gods between the two religions.

இப்பொழுது ஐந்தாவது அற்புதத்தைக் காண்போம்.

அரசனின் குதிரை, வலி தாங்க முடியாமல் தரையில் விழுந்து கதறியது நாட்டிலுள்ள பிரபல மிருக மருத்துவர்கள் வந்து குணப்படுத்த முயன்றனர். அது பலன் தரவில்லை. ZARATHUHSTRA ஜராதுஷ்ட்ரர் நான் குணப்படுத்துகிறேன். ஆனால் குதிரையின் நான்கு கால்களையும் குணப்படுத்த 4 நிபந்தனைகள் என்றார் . மன்னனும் ஒப்புக்கொண்டான்.

இந்தக் கதை 1400 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்னர் திருஞான சம்பந்தர் என்னும் சிறுவன் , மதுரை மாநகரில் கூன் பாண்டியன் என்ற மன்னனை திருநீறு பூசி ‘நின்ற சீர் நெடுமாறன்’ ஆக்கியதை நமக்கு நினைவுபடுத்தும்.

ஜொராஸ்டர் ZOROASTER என்று கிரேக்கர்கள் அழைத்த பாரசீக ஜராதுஷ்ட்ரர் ZARATHUSHTRA OF PERSIA/IRAN , ஆப்கானிஸ்தானில் நடத்திய அற்புதம் இது.

பாதாள சிறையில் அடைக்கப்பட்டிருந்த ஜராதுஷ்ட்ரர் அழைத்து வரப்பட்டார். சத்திரக் காவலனும் , அரசவை பொறாமைக்காரர்கள் ஜராதுஷ்டிரருக்கு அவப் பெயர் ஏற்படுத்த படுக்கைக்கு அடியில் எலும்பு, மயிர், மாமிசம், நகம் இவைகளை மறை த்து வைத்த உண்மையைக் கக்கினான். ஜராதுஷ்ட்ரர் , நிரபராதி என்பது உறுதியானது.

அவர் குளித்துவிட்டு, குதிரையை ஒரு சுத்தமான துணியில் கிடத்தி மந்திரங்களை உச்சரித்து குதிரையின் ஒரு காலைத் தொட்டார். அது நிமிர்ந்து உறுதியாக நின்றது. இதற்கு நீ எனக்கு நிறைவேற்ற வேண்டிய என் முதல் நிபந்தனை இதோ – “மன்னன் விஸ்தஸ்பா என் மதத்தை- என் கொள்கைகளை ஒப்புக்கொள்ளவேண்டும்”.

அவனும் தலை அசைத்து குதிரையின் மற்ற கால்களையும் குணப்படுத்த வேண்டினான்.இரண்டாவது நிபந்தனையை ஜராதுஷ்ட்ரர் சொன்னார் – “என்னை ராணி ஹுதோக்ஷி வசிக்கும் அறைக்கு அழைத்துச் செல். நான் என் உபதேசத்தை அருளுவேன். அவள் விருப்பப்பட்டால் அதை ஏற்கட்டும் என்றான். மன்னனும் அவரை தன மனைவி வசிக்கும் அந்தப்புர அறைக்கு அழைத்து செல்ல, அவளும் உபதேசத்தைக் கேட்டு மனம் மகிழ்ந்து, அகம் குளிர்ந்து, அந்த மதத்தைத் தழுவினாள் ; சபைக்குத் திரும்பி வந்த ஜராதுஷ்ட்ரர் குதிரையின் இரண்டாவது காலை பிடித்து மந்திரத்தை ஜெபித்தார். அதுவும் குணமாகி காலை நீட்டியது.

குதிரையின் மூன்றாவது கால் இன்னும் வயிற்றை நோக்கி மடித்து கிடந்தது. இப்பொழுது ஜராதுஷ்ட்ரர் மூன்றாவது நிபந்தையை உரைத்தார் – பட்டத்து இளவரசன் ஆகிய அஸ்வந்தியார் என் மதத்தை, நாடு முழுதும் பரப்புவேன் என்று வாளின் மீது ஆணை – சத்தியம் செய்யவேண்டும் .

அவனும் அதற்கு இசையவே மூன்றவது காலையும் குணப்படுத்தினார் ஜராதுஷ்ட்ரர்.

எனது வியாக்கியானம்

ராணியின் பெயர் சங்க இலக்கியத்தில் உள்ளது. சுத்த அக்ஷி – நல்ல கண் நாயகி = அதாவது நக்கண்ணை= இதன் மற்றோரு ஸம்ஸ்க்ருதப் பெயர் – சுலோசனா

இலவசனின் பெயர் – அஸ்வ தேவன் என்பதன் திரிபு = அஸ்பந்திய

இப்போது நாலாவது காலை நிமிர்த்த கடைசி நிபந்தனையை ஜராதுஷ்ட்ரர் புகன்றார்.

சத்திரக் காவலனை அழையுங்கள் எப்படி, யார் பில்லி சூனிய நகம், மயிர், எலும்பு , மாமிசம் முதலியவற்றை என் படுக்கையில் வைத்தது என்ற உண்மையைச் சொல்லட்டும் என்றார் ; அவன் அழைத்து வரப்பட்டான் ; அவன் முழு உண்மைகளையும் கக்கினான். அவன் அரசவையில் அமர்ந்திருந்த பொறாமைக்கார மந்திரி, பிரபுக்களை சுட்டிக்காட்டி இவர்கள்தான் இந்த பில்லி சூனிய, மாந்த்ரீகப் பொருட்களைக் கொண்டு வந்தவர்கள் என்று காட்டினான். உடனே அவர்களைச் சிரச் சேதம் BEHEAD செய்ய மன்னன் உத்தரவிட்டான். ஜராதுஷ்ட்ரர் , மிகவும் கருணையுடன் அவர்களைக் கொல்ல வேண்டாம்; நாடு கடத்தினால் போதும் என்றார். மன்னனும் அப்படியே செய்த்தான் .

குதிரையின் நாலாவது காலையும், மந்திரம் ஜபித்து குணப்படுத்தினார் ஜராதுஷ்ட்ரர் .

இளைஞரான ஜராதுஷ்ட்ரர் அந்த அரசவையின் மூத்த அதிகாரியான பிரசாஸ்திராவின் மகளை மணந்தார் ; அவருக்கு 3 மனைவிகள்; அவர்கள் மூலம் 3 மகன்களும் 3 மகள்களும் பிறந்தனர். 77 வயது வரை வாழ்ந்தார். ஆனால் அவரது கொள்கை பிடிக்காத ஒருவனால் படுகொலை செய்யப்பட்டார்.

அவரது மனைவி, மகள் , மகன் — ஆகிய அனைவரின் பெயர்களும் ஸம் ஸ்க்ருதப் பெயர்கள் ‘ எப்படி வெள்ளைக்காரர்களும் கிரேக்கர்களும் தமிழ்ப் பெயர்களை உருக்குலைத்தார்களோ அதே போல அவஸ்தன் மொழியில் ஸம்ஸ்க்ருதத்தை எழுதும் போது அவையும் உருமாறிப் போயின

வேத கால கடவுளரின் பெயர்களும் அரக்கர் பெயர்களும் அவர்கள் வேதப் புஸ்தகமான செண்ட் அவெஸ்தாவில் உளது. அவர்கள் அக்கினியை வணங்காமல் ஒரு நாளையும் கழிக்கமாட்டார்கள் ஆயினும் இந்திரனை பின்னுக்குத் தள்ளி , வருணனை முன்னதாக்கியதும் தேவர்களை மட்டம்தட்டி, அசுரர் என்ற சொல்லை உயர்த்திக் காட்டியதும் ஜராதுஷ்ட்ரர் ஒரு புரட்சிக்கு கொடி தூக்கிய பாரசீகன் என்பதைக் காட்டுகிறது. அவர் வாய் மொழியாக வந்ததைவிட பிற விஷயங்களும் அவர்களுடைய மதப் புஸ்தகத்தில் இருக்கின்றன.

வேத கால சாப மந்திரங்கள் போல அவரும் சாபம் இடும் சம்பவங்களும் அவர் வாழ்க்கையில் உண்டு தனக்கு புகலிடம் கொடுக்க மறுத்த ஒருவனுக்கு அவர் சாபம் இடுகிறார். எதிரிகளை ஒழிப்பது பற்றிப் பாடுகிறார்.

எல்லா மதப் புஸ்தகங்களிலும், தமிழ் உள்பட எல்லா இலக்கியங்களிலும், எதிரிப் படை உள்ளது உண்டு. வெள்ளைக்கார, .மார்க்சீய அயோக்கியர்கள் வேத புஸ்தகத்தில் உள்ள எதிரிகளை மட்டும் ‘பூர்வ குடி மக்கள்’ என்று முத்திரை குத்தி, வரலாற்றையே திசை திருப்பினார்கள். அதை நாம் மாற்றி எழுதி உண்மையை உரைக்கவேண்டும். காந்தி, அம்பேத்கார், சுவாமி விவேகானந்தர், பாரதியார், காஞ்சி பரமாசார்ய சுவாமிகள் சொன்ன விஷயங்களை நாம் பரப்பவேண்டும்.

MILLIONS of Tamil Hindus recite one hymn every day, on Hindu God Skanda/ Kartikeya, known as Sknada Shashti Kavasam . It is to seek protection from god for all parts of the body from all sorts of evils such as enemies, diseases and interestingly evil spirits and ghosts! Kavasam means armour, protective shield.

When it talks about protection from ghosts and evil spirits, some voodoo customs are described. I was wonder struck to see the same description in the life of Zoroaster.

Regarding the date and birthplace of Zoroaster utter confusion prevails; no agreement among scholars until today. But one could say that he lived before Buddha and Mahavira. So, we can safely say that he lived before 2600 years ago, may be 3000 years ago.

Those who are familiar with Vedic Sanskrit can easily see the similarities between Avestan language and Vedic Sanskrit. Asva= horse (aspa) is found in most of the names.

Zoroaster founded Zoroastrianism. They followed Vedic Brahmins and worshipped Fire. Their emblem was Fire altar. They wore sacred thread like Brahmins. Zoroaster is a Greek word for Zaratushtra.

Kanchi Paramacharya (1894-1994) was a great linguistic scholar and he said that word Sourashtra (a region in modern Gujarat of India) gave the word Zoroaster. Their holy book Zend Avesta has the Vedic Chandas (Zend). He was proved right because the Parsees (Persians from Persia, now called Iran) came back to same Saurashtra area when Muslims started killing them. ( For more details see my old articles; links are given below).

His name in old Persian or Avestan was Zarath + ushtra (Ushtra is camel in Sanskrit; he was from a family of camel breeders is one theory)

Now let me start with the miracles

Miracle 1

When he was born, it is said that he laughed whereas other children cry. In the Farvardin Yasht, we are told that the whole of Nature rejoiced at the birth of the Prophet. Pliny (23-79 CE) in his Natural History writes that the vibrations of the child’s head were so strong that no hand could be held on it.

Miracle 2

A black magician , DORASURAN, and his followers made several attempts to kill the child. He was kidnapped and thrown among a herd of cattle to be trampled to death, but a sturdy cow stood over him till his mother found the baby and took him home.

My comments

It is similar to the miracles in the life of Lord Krishna. He also had to tackle a lot of Asuras sent by the king Kamsa. Here we should note the word ‘Asura’ in Dorsuran. Asura is used as epithet to several gods in the Rig Veda, the oldest book in the world. Even today Tamils and others use this word whenever they wanted to say ‘great force’ – e.g asura vega, asura balam

Later mythology gave only negative meaning to this word. Even the kings of the Assyrian dynasty called themselves ‘Asuras’.

Miracle 3

Then Dorasuran and his men placed the child in a wolf’s lair after the baby wolves had been slain. When the wolf pair returned, they wanted to devour the infant, but their jaws locked, and they were paralysed. A pair of she goats passed by and carried the baby with them. At last, DUGHDOVA, his mother found him and took him home.

My comments

Here also we see some similarities with lord Krishna’s life. Dughdova means, milkmaid, similar to Yasoda, foster mother of lord Krishna . Krishna also tackled Denukasura, a Calf Demon.

Miracle 4

One last attempt was made by Dorasuran himself. He crept into the bed chamber of the sleeping child, javelin in hand, but as he lifted the weapon his hand was paralysed. The javelin fell to the floor with a clatter. He fled.

At the age of 20, Zarathushtra is said to have left his home to meditate in a cave, like a typical Hindu ascetic. His first vision of Ahura Mazda, Lord of Life and Wisdom, was received when he was thirty. Seven other visions, six communications with Ahura Mazda’s Powers, later known as the Amesha Spenta , Immortal Shining Ones, or Benevolent Immortals.

His first convert was his own cousin Maidhyomaongha, mentioned in the Gathas. The two men wandered from village to village, but none would listen to their preaching.

My comments

Here we come across a lot of Sanskrit words.

Gatha – song found in the Rig Veda

Amesha – Amrita , liquid or juice of Immortality

Spenta – Sveta = white= Pure

Ahura = Asura = great strength= great force

Mazda = Mahat = great = big

Maidhyomaongha- Vidya Maha Tunga = great peak of knowledge

Maidhya may be vidya/knowledge/education or

Vaidhya = doctor, medicine man

Zarath ushtra= yellow camel or camel lovers/breeders

Miracle 5

At long last they were invited by Kavi Vishtaspa , the ruling prince of Bactria = Afghanistan to explain the new doctrine to him and his court. For three days Zarathushtra preached his doctrine. But certain courtiers became jealous. They smuggled dead matter, human hairs, bones, putrid nails, under the pillow of the prophet who stayed at an inn. The terrified innkeeper was made to swear silence or else he would be killed.

In open court the noblemen accused the Prophet of being a black magician. The evidence was produced Vishtaspa was enraged and ordered Zarathushtra to be flung into a dungeon. At the moment prince’s favourite horse Aspa Siha , was rolling on the ground in agony as his four legs disappeared into his stomach. Not all the Hakims of the land could cure him.

Let me continue in the next part how Zarathushtra did his fifth miracle and converted everyone to his faith.

Here we see the materials used in black magic. This is what the author of SKANDA SHASHTI KAVASAM also said in the Tamil hymn. Whoever recited the Tamil hymn can tackle the black magicians.

My comments

So the black magic materials were the same in Tamil Nadu, southern most part of India and north west part of India- Afghanistan.

The name of the prince also has the word Aspa= Asva. In India we had Dasa Ratha= Ten Chariots and Maharatha, Adhiratha etc. In Iran, we have Asva instead of Chariots.

Asva may be a dynasty name!

In the Mahabharata we have at least six names ending with Asva and six more names ending with Ratha.

All these show Indian influence. Moreover Hindu queens Gandhari and Kaikeyi came from Afghanistan and border area near Iran.

Afghanistan , Iran etc have Sanskrit words (Iran=Aryan)

Afghanistan = Upaghani+ Stan

Black magic people used human hair, bones, dead animals, putrid nails according to both this story and Tamil hymn. It has been there for 3000 years.

Here we see the horse name Asva Siha; Tamil literature and Sanskrit literature also give names of horses ad elephants. This is a custom followed by them from Epic Period.
