Chapter XXXIV: Lakshman’s Speech
Lakshmana’s outburst in Kishkinda Kanda against Sugriva
For draughts of wine for slaughtered cows,
For treacherous theft, for broken vows
A pardon is ordained: but none
For thankless scorn of service done.’
Ungrateful, Vanar King, art thou,
And faithless to thy plighted vow.
For Rama brought thee help, and yet
Thou shunnest to repay the debt:- Kishkinda Kanda, Valmiki Ramayana

बालघ्नांश्च कृतघ्नांश्च विशुद्धानपि धर्मतः ।
शरणागतहन्तॄंश्च स्त्रीहन्तॄंश्च न संवसेत् ॥ Manu १९० ॥
bālaghnāṃśca kṛtaghnāṃśca viśuddhānapi dharmataḥ |
śaraṇāgatahantṝṃśca strīhantṝṃśca na saṃvaset ||Manu 11- 190 ||
One shall not associate with murderers of children, ungrateful men, murderers of a refugee, and murderers of women,—even though they may have been duly purified.—(Manu Smriti 11-190)

Valmiki Ramayana , Pancha Tantra and Purananuru 34 said the same thing about ingratitude. Rama considered it as a great sin. Pura nanuru verse listed grave crimes like killing a cow, Killing a Brahmin and raping a woman and said graver is the crime of ingratitude.

Tiru Valluvar did not hesitate to show his belief in REBIRTH; he is talking abot SEVEN BIRTHS in Kural107.
The concept of Seven births encompasses the belief that an individual’s sins accumulate over multiple lifetimes, impacting their spiritual journey. This idea suggests that rituals and worship at various deities can cleanse these sins, offering liberation from past life afflictions. In addition, it signifies a continuous cycle of rebirth where devoted worshipers receive benefits such as health and prosperity. The notion of Seven births, therefore, ties together themes of karma, reincarnation, and spiritual growth across different cultural perspectives.
Tiru Valluvar is a Pukka Hindu who mentioned Seven Births in four Kurals.
Ezumai in two couplets, Ezu Pirappu in two more couplets.
Seven Stages in Births from Tiru Mular and Siddhas: PLANTS; WATER LIVING FISH AND ANIMALS; REPTILES;BIRDS; ANIMALS ON LAND;HUMAN BEINGS;SAINTS AND DEVAS.

3. ஊர்வன: பாம்பு, பல்லி, நத்தை போன்ற தரையில் ஊர்ந்து செல்லும் உயிரினங்கள்.
4. பறப்பவை: வானில் பறக்கும் அனைத்து வகையான பறவைகள்.
5. விலங்குகள்: கால்நடைகள் மற்றும் காட்டு விலங்குகள்.
6. மனிதர்கள்: பகுத்தறிவு மற்றும் சிந்தனை ஆற்றல் பெற்ற உயிரினங்கள்.
7. தேவர்கள் / முனிவர்கள்: உயர்ந்த நற்குணங்கள் மற்றும் தெய்வீக ஆற்றல் கொண்டவர்கள்.
