I am a lover of Nature. I had been to forests in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka as a Botany student. I browse through any book that has bird or animal or trees. I went through three volumes on Indian Forests. Though there are hundreds of images in the book , most of them are not of good quality or reproduceable. So, I am posting here some good pictures, all are in black and white:

முருகு என்ற சொல்லுக்கு இளமை,அழகு,தெய்வத்தன்மை எனும்பதினேழு வித அர்த்தங்களைச் சுட்டுகிறது தமிழகராதி. அப்படிப்பட்ட ஆறுமுகன் நமக்கு உணர்த்துவது என்ன,அவனருள் நம்மை என்ன செய்யும், பார்க்கலாமா………
ஒன்றே பரம்பொருள் எனக் காட்டுவான்,இரு வினைகளைப் போக்குவான், மும்மலங்களை அகற்றுவான்,நான்கு வேதங்களின் கருத்தைத் தருவான், ஐந்து புலன்களை அடக்குவான், ஆறு முகங்களின் மூலம் ஆறு ஆசிகளை வழங்குவான், ஏழு நாட்களும் நல்லவையே என்று உணர்த்துவான், எட்டு திசைகளும் உகந்ததே எனக் குறிப்பிட்டு, ஒன்பது கிரகங்கள் விளைவிக்கும் தீமைகளை விரட்டி அடித்து, வாழ்வில் பத்துக்குப் பத்து தந்திடுவான் நம் வேலவன்! தைப் பூசம், வைகாசி விசாகம், ஆடிக் கிருத்திகை ஆகிய விழாக்களில் அப்படிப்பட்டஆறுமுகனுக்கு முக்கியத்துவம் கொடுப்பது போல், நடப்பு ஆண்டின் இறுதி தினம் மற்றும் வரும் புத்தாண்டின் முதல் நாளும் அழகன் முருகனின் “புகழ்”பாடி ஆராதிக்கும் பொன்னாளாகத் தணிகையிலும், சுவாமிமலையிலும் படித் திருவிழா வாகச் சிறப்பாகக் கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது. கடந்து போகும் ஆண்டில் விளைந்த நன்மைகள் போல் வரவிருக்கும் வருடத்திலும் நல்லவையே நடந்து, வாழ்வை வளமாக்க,மனமுறுகி முருகனை வேண்டி “மைசூரு சுவாமிகள்” அனுகிரகத்தால் நடத்தப்படும் விழாவே இது.
யார் இந்த “மைசூரு சுவாமிகள்”?
அதன் பின்னணி விவரங்களைச் சுவாமிகளுடன் கூடவே இருந்து,நெருங்கிப் பழகிய ஆனையாம்பட்டி சாது ஶ்ரீகுஹாநந்த பாரதி சுவாமிகள், திரு கல்யாண சுந்தரம் (1957),சுவாமி அன்வாநந்தா (1975),பி.எஸ்.கிருஷ்ணய்யர் ஆகியோரின் நேரடி அனுபவக் கட்டுரைகளின் வாயிலாகவும், வடதிருமுல்லை வாயில் ஶ்ரீவைஷ்ணவி தேவி ஆலய வெளியீடு ‘வள்ளிமலை வள்ளல்’ என்ற நூல் மூலமும் அறிய முடிகிறது.
கொங்கு நாட்டில் பவானி நகருக்கு அருகில் பூநாச்சி கிராமத்தில் வசித்த சிதம்பர ஜோசியர்-லஷ்மியம்மாள் தம்பதிக்கு வெகுநாட்களாகப் புத்திரப் பாக்கியமில்லாமல் வருந்தினார்கள். ஒரு சமயம் திருச்செங்கோட்டு ஈசனை வழிபட நாகத்தின் மூலம் சமிக்ஞை கிடைக்கப் பெற்று அதன்படி அனுசரிக்க, அவர்களுக்கு 25-11-1870-ல் கார்த்திகை மூல நட்சத்திரத்தில் ஓர் ஆண்மகவு பிறந்தது. மகேசனுக்கு நன்றி தெரிவிக்கும் விதமாக அக்குழந்தைக்கு அர்த்தநாரி எனப் பெயரிட்டு வளர்த்தனர்.
சிறு வயதிலேயே பெற்றோரை இழந்ததால் படிப்பில் நாட்டமில்லாமல் கிராமியக் கலைகளில் ஈடுபாடு கொண்டார். தனது ஒன்பதாவது வயதில் ‘குழந்தை திருமணம்’ செய்விக்கப் பட்டதும் மைசூருக்குக் குடி பெயர்ந்தார். அங்கு அரண் மனையில் தலைமைத் தவசிப்பிள்ளையாக இருந்த உறவினரிடம் உதவியா ளராகச் சேர்ந்து விரைவிலேயே சமையற்கலையின் நுணுக்கங்களைக் கற்று, நளபாகத்தில் கைதேர்ந்தவரானார். அரச சமூகத்தின் தனிப்பட்டத் தலைமைத் தவசிப்பிள்ளையாகவும் பரிணமித்தார்.
அதுவரை அவரை அணைத்துச் சென்ற அதிர்ஷ்டதேவதை இப்போது விலக ஆரம்பித்து விட்டாள். ஒரு கல்யாணத்துக்குச் சென்றவரை விதி விட்டுவிட வில்லை. அசல் மாப்பிள் ளையைத் தவிர்த்து இவரை மணாளனாக்கி இரண்டாம் திருமணம் செய்து வைத்து விட் டனர். துன்பத்துக்கு மேல் துன்பத்தை அவர் அனுபவித்தக் காலம் அது. மூன்று வருடத் துக்குப் பின் முதல் மனைவி, மூன்று மகள்கள் இயற்கை எய்தினர். தொடர்ந்து 1907-ல் இரண்டாவது மனைவியின் இரு பெண் குழந்தைகளும் இறந்தனர். அத்துடன் தீராத வயிற்று வலியும் சேர்ந்துகொள்ள வாழ்க்கையே வெறுத்துவிட்டது அவருக்கு. பழநி ஆண்டவரின் அபிஷேகத் தீர்த்தத்தை அருந்தினால் உபாதை நீங்கும் எனத் தோழர் கூற 1908-ல் மனைவி,எஞ்சிய ஒரே மகன் நரசிம்மனுடன் பழநி சென்றடைந்தார். அங்கு அன்றாட ஆலயக் கைங்கர்யத்தில் தன்னை ஈடுபடுத்திக் கொண்டு,அபிஷேகத் தீர்த்தத்தை அருந்திவர வாட்டியக் குன்மநோயும் அரவே அகன்றது. அத்துடன் முருகனின் திருவிளையாடலும் ஆரம்பித்தது.
அக்காலத்தில் மூலவரின் அபிஷேகத்தின் போது திருப்புகழ்ப் பாட்டுக்கு நடனமாடுவதுண்டு. ஒருசமயம் மதுரை தேவதாசி ஒருவர் “வங்கார மார்பிலணி தாரொடுயர் கோடசைய,கொந்தார மாலை குழல் ஆரமொடு தோள் புரள…”. (813)பாடலுக்கு நாட்டி யமாட,அதில் லயித்து ஓர் ஆனந்தப் பரவசநிலையை அடைந்தார். திருப்புகழ்ப் பாடலைப் படித்து ரசிக்க நினைத்தாலும் எழுத்தறிவு இல்லாமை தடங்கலாக நின்றது.
அப்போது அவருக்கருகில் திடீரெனத் தோன்றிய ஒரு மாயச் சிறுவன் (வேறுயார், ‘அழகன்’ தான்!)தமிழ் சொல்லிக் கொடுக்க முன்வர, துரிதகால இடைவெளியில் கற்றுத் தேர்ந்து,திருப்புகழ் பாடுவதில் புலமைப் பெற்றார். ஓர் இனந்தெரியாத உள்ளுணர்வு அவரை ஆன்மிக யாத்திரை மேற்கொள்ள அறிவுறுத்த, திருச் செந்தூர், திருவண்ணா மலை, இலங்கை எனப் பல தலங்களைத் தரிசித்து விட்டுத் திரும்பவும் அண்ணாமலை வந்தடைந்தார். பகவான் ரமணரைச் சந்தித்து அவருக்குப் பணிவிடை செய்தும், திருப் புகழ்ப் பாடி மகிழ்வித்தும் வந்தார். ரமணர் அவர் கண்களுக்குத் தண்டாயுதபாணி யாகவே காட்சியளித்தார். அங்கு திருப்புகழின் அனைத்துக் காண்டங்களையும் கற்றறிந்தார். அர்த்தநாரியின் எதிர்காலத்தைத் தன் யோகசித்தியால் அறிந்து கொண்டவர் அவரை வட இந்தி யத் தலங்களைத் தரிசித்து வரப் பணித்தார். இமயமலைச் சாரலில் சந்தித்த ஒரு சித்தரால் ஈர்க்கப்பட்டு,அவரிடமே தீட்சைப் பெற்று,சித்தரின் ஆக்ஞைப்படி துறவறம் ஏற்று, ஶ்ரீசச்சிதானந்த சுவாமி எனும் சன்னியாச நாமத்தையும் பெற்றார். நான்கு வருட இடைவெளிக்குப் பின் ஆவலுடன் ரமணமகரிஷியைப் பார்க்க வந்தவருக்கு ஓர் அதிர்ச்சிக் காத்திருந்தது.
வந்ததும் வராததுமாய் அவரை ‘உடனே மலையடிவாரம் திரும்பிச் செல்!’ என மகரிஷி கட்டளையிட, ஒன்றும் புரியாதவராய்த் திரும்பினார். அவரது துறவற வாழ்வில் மற்றொரு திருப்புமுனையாக அமைந்துவிட்டது அச்சம்பவம். கீழே இறங்கியவரை உடலெல்லாம் சேறும் சகதியுமாய் ஓடி வந்து அணைத்துக் கொண்டார் மகான் ஶ்ரீசேஷாத்திரி சுவாமிகள். சேறும் சகதியும் சந்தன மணம் வீசியது! “வாரும்,வாரும்!சின்ன சாமி அனுப்பினாரா?” என்று வினவியவர், ஶ்ரீசச்சிதானந்தருக்கு ஆதிசங்கரரின் சிவமானஸ ஸ்தோத்திரத்தை உபதேசித்தார்.

புறநானூற்றில் புலவர் நரசிம்மன் !
ஜெயலலிதாவுக்கு ஏன் பரிதாபச் சாவு ?
பிரேமதாசாவின் உடல் சிதறுவது பாபாவுக்குத் தெரியும்!
வாலகில்யர்கள் என்னும் கட்டைவிரல் அளவேயுள்ள முனிவர்கள் 60,000 பேர் சூரியனுடம் வலம் வருவது பற்றி புறநானுறு , சிலப்பதிகாரம், திருப்புகழ் ஆகியன என்ன சொல்கிறது என்பதை பத்து ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்னர் “சூரியனுடன் சுற்றிவரும் குள்ள முனிவர்கள் யார் ? “ என்ற தலைப்பில் எழுதினேன் (2011 ம் ஆண்டு கட்டுரை இணைப்பு கீழே உள்ளது )
இப்பொழுது அதர்வண வேதத்தைப் படித்தபொழுது புதிய தகவல் கிடைத்திருக்கிறது 2000 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்னரே இது தமிழர்களுக்கும் தெரியும் என்பது சங்க இலக்கியக் குறிப்புகளால் தெளிவாத் தெரிகிறது. அதர்வண வேதத்தின் ( அ. வே) கடைசி காண்டங்கள் – அதாவது பத்தொன்பதாவது, இருபதாவது காண்டங்கள் — ரிக் வேத செய்யுட்களை மீண்டும் கூறுகின்றன. அதாவது உலகிலேயே பழைய நூலான ரிக்வேதத்தின் மறு பதிப்பு !
அதில் உள்ள முக்கிய வரிகளைக் குறிப்பிட்ட பின்னர் எனது வியாக்கியானத்தைத் தருகிறேன்:–
இரண்டும் நம்மை விழுங்கிக் கொண்டிருக்கின்றன. ஒவ்வொரு நாள் நமக்குக் கழிந்தால், யமனுடைய வீட்டுக்குப் போக தயார் ஆகிறோம் என்று பொருள்.
அதர்வண வேதத்தில் ( அ. வே) சூரியனுடன் சவாரி செய்யும் முனிவர்கள் பற்றிய குறிப்பு வருகிறது . வியாக்கியனக்காரர்கள் அங்கு வாலகில்யர் என்னும் குள்ள முனிவர்கள் பற்றி ஒன்றும் சொல்லவில்லை. ஆனால் புறநானூற்று வரி அப்படியே உள்ளது.
“சுடரொடு திரிதரும் முனிவரும்” என்பது சிலப்பதிகார வரி. “சுடரொடு கொட்கும் அவிர்சடை முனிவரும்” என்பது புறநானூற்று வரி . (பாடல் 43) இதை எழுதியவர் பெயர் நரசிம்மன். அதாவது தாமப்பல் கண்ணன்
ஓம் வஜ்ர நகாய வித்மஹே தீஷ்ண தம்ஷ்ட்ராய தீமஹி
தன்னோ நரசிம்ஹ ப்ரசோதயாத் — என்பது நரசிம்ம காயத்ரி மந்திரம்
இதில் தீக்ஷ்ண தம்ஷ்ட்ர என்பதன் தமிழ் ஆக்கமே “தாமப்பல் “. கண்ணன் என்பது அவர் பெயர் அல்லது குடும்பப் பெயர் என்றும் கொள்ளலாம் .
அ .வே. முதல் துதி சூரியனை போற்றுகிறது. இதில் சூரிய ஒளியில் காணப்படும் 7 வண்ணங்கள் 7 குதிரைகளாக வருணிக்கப்படுகின்றன. இதை நாம் வானவில் ஏற்படுகையில் காண்கிறோம். சூரிய ஒளியை PRISM பிரிஸம் என்னும் முப்பட்டைக் கண்ணாடி வழியே பாய்ச்சினாலும் தெரியும் .
“முதல் துதியின் முதல் மந்திரத்தில் அறிஞர்களான கவிகள் அவனில் ஏறுகிறார்கள் ; எல்லா புவனங்களும் அவனுடைய சக்கரங்கள் “– என்ற வரிகள் வருகின்றன. ஏனைய ஒன்பது மந்திரங்களில் இன்னும் பல அறிவியல் தகவல்கள் உள்ளன..
அ .வே. மந்திரங்களை இந்திய விஞ்ஞானிகள் உட்கார்ந்து ஆராய்ந்தால் அமெரிக்க, ரஷ்ய விஞ்ஞானிகள் சொல்லுவதற்கு முன்னரே நாம் பல உண்மைகளை சொல்ல முடியும்
பத்து ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்னர் நான் எழுதிய வாலகில்யர் கட்டுரையில் அவர்கள் அல்ட்ரா வயலெட் கிரணங்களைத் தடுத்து நிறுத்தும் ஓசோன் வளி மண்டலம (OZONE LAYER, Ultra Violet Rays) போன்றவர்களாக இருக்கலாம் என்று எழுதி இருந்தேன். இப்பொழுது அவர்கள் “காலத்தில் பயணம் செய்யும் முனிவர்கள்” என்ற பொருளும் தொனிப்பதை TIME TRAVELLERS உணர்கிறேன் .
கால யந்திரம் – டைம் மிஷின் TIME MACHINE NOVEL BY H G WELLS — என்ற கதையை சுமார் நூறு ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்னரே எழுதினார். அது முதற்கொண்டு மனிதன், பழைய காலத்துக்குப் பயணம் செய்ய முடியுமா? வருங்காலத்துக்குப் பயணம் செய்து எதிர்காலத்தைப் பார்க்க முடியுமா ?என்றெல்லாம் விவாதித்து வருகிறான். இதில் இந்துக்களுக்குத் தெளிவான கருத்து உள்ளது.
கடந்த காலத்தில் நடந்தவற்றைப் பார்க்க முடியும் ; குறிப்பாக நம் உடலுக்குள் நம் PREVIOUS BIRTH STORIES முன்பிறவிக் கதைகள் ஒரு பிலிம் சுருள் FILM ROLL போல சுருட்டி வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ள்ளது என்று சுவாமி விவேகானந்தர் கூறுகிறார். நம் புராணக் கதைகளும் இதையே புகலும் . சிலப்பதிகாரத்தில் கூட சாமி வந்து ஆடும் பெண்மணி, கண்ணகி, கோவலன் ஆகியோரின் முற்பிறப்பு வரலாறுகளைக் கூறுவதைக் காண்கிறோம்.
சுந்தரரும் அப்பரும் “காலத்தில் பயணம்” TIME TRAVEL செய்து இறந்த பையனையும் பெண்ணையும் மீட்டு வந்ததையும் எழுதியுள்ளேன். அவர்கள் இப்போது என்ன வயதுடன் இருப்பார்களோ அப்படி வளர்ந்த நிலையில் திரும்பி வந்தார்கள் என்று சேக்கிழார் பாடுகிறார்; 1000 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்னர் பாடியது. ஆக இந்துக்கள் சொல்லுவது காலம் என்பது வட்டவடிவமானது CYCLICAL. அதில் முதலும் இல்லை முடிவும் இல்லை. ஆனால் ஐன்ஸ்டைன் EINSTEIN போன்ற விஞ்ஞானிகள் காலம் என்பது நேர்கோட்டில் பயணம் செய்கிறது என்கிறார்கள். நாம் சொல்லுவதே சரி என்பதை அவர்கள் விரைவில் ஒப்புக் கொள்ளுவர். மேலும் தேவர்கள் ஒளி வடிவில் (DEVA= LIGHT) இருப்பதால் ஒளியின் வேகத்தில் செல்வதோடு மனோ வேகத்திலும் (Speed of Thought) செல்ல முடியும் என்பது இந்துக்களின் கண்டு பிடிப்பு.
ஒளியின் வேகத்தில் ஒருவர் பயணம் செய்தால் அவர்களுக்கு என்றும் 16 வயது; அதாவது நித்திய மார்க்கண்டேயன் என்று ஐன்ஸ்டைன் சொல்கிறார். ஆனால் அந்த வேகத்தில் பயணம் செய்ய முடியாது என்பதும் அதை மிஞ்சவே முடியாதென்பதும் அவர்தம் துணிபு. ஆனால் நாம், அதை மிஞ்ச முடியும் எதிர்காலத்தைச் சென்று பார்ப்பதோடு அதில் தலையிடவும் முடியும் என்கிறோம்.
பகவத் கீதையின் விஸ்வரூப தரிசனக் காட்சியைப் படித்தவர்களுக்கு இது தெள்ளிதின் விளங்கும். அர்ஜுனன், தனது எதிரிகளைக் கொல்லுவதற்கு முன்னமே, அவர்கள் கொல்லப்பட்டு கிருஷ்ணனின் வாயில் புகுவதைக் கிருஷ்ணன் காட்டுகிறார். ஆக எதிர்காலத்தில் நடக்கப்போவதைக் காணலாம்.
காஞ்சி பரமாசார்ய சுவாமிகள், அரியலூரில் காவிரி வெள்ளத்தில் முழு ரயிலும் அடித்துச் செல்லப்பபோவதை அறிந்து, எம் எஸ் சுப்புலட்சுமி அந்த ரயிலில் போகவேண்டாம் என்று தடுத்ததை உலகமே அறியும் . மைக்கேல் ஜாக்சன் தற்கொலை, பிரேமதாச குண்டு வெடியிப்பில் உடல் சிதறி அழிதல் — இவற்றை முன்னரே அறிந்த சத்ய சாய்பாபா — அவர்களை பார்க்க மறுத்ததையும் பத்திரிக்கைகளில் நாம் படிக்கிறோம்.
இந்திரா காந்தியின் துர் மரணத்தை அறிந்த காஞ்சி பரமாசார்ய சுவாமிகள், அவரைப் பார்க்க மறுத்தார். ஆனால் சுவாமிகளின் பரம சீடரான இந்திய ராஷ்ட்ரபதி ஆர். வெங்கடராமன் வேண்டியதன் பொருட்டு சந்தித்தார். அப்போதும் அவர் போக்கு சரியில்லை என்றே சுவாமிகள் எச்சரித்தார் ; காஞ்சி மடத்துக்கு கொடுமை இழைத்த ஜெயலலிதாவின் பயங்கர, பரிதாபச் சாவினை முன்னரே அறிந்த சங்கராச்சார்யார் ஸ்ரீ ஜெயேந்திர சரஸ்வதி சுவாமிகள் , ஜெயலலிதாவுக்கு எதிரான ஆபிசார யக்ஞத்தை (தீயில் மிளகாய் போட்டு மந்திரம் சொல்லி எதிரியை ஒழிக்கும் வேள்வி) தடுத்து நிறுத்தினார்.
அவர்களுக்கு எதிர்காலத்தில் நடக்கப்போவது தெரியும். ஆனால் பெரும்பாலும் அதைத் தடுத்து நிறுத்த மாட்டார்கள் . ஏசுவுக்கு தான் அகால மரணம் அடையப்போவது தெரிந்து 13-ஆவது ஆள் காட்டிக் கொடுப்பான் என்கிறார். ஆயினும் “ஏ தேவனே, ஏ தேவனே என்னை ஏன் கைவிட்டீர் (ஏலி, ஏலி லாமா சபக்தானி ) என்று சாதாரண மனிதன் போல சிலுவையில் கதறினார்.
இந்த பிளாக்கில் வெளியான பல நூறு அற்புதங்கள் சாது, சந்யாசிகள் காலப் பயணம் TIME TRAVEL செய்ய முடியும் என்பதையும் மிகவும் அரிதாகவே சாதுக்கள் அதில் தலை இடுவர் என்பதையும் காட்டுகின்றன.
நாரத மகரிஷி பற்றிய குறிப்புகள் தமிழில் முதல் தடவையாக சிலப்பதிகாரத்திலும், சம்ஸ்க்ருதத்தில் அதர்வண வேதத்திலும் வருகிறது. த்ரி லோக சஞ்சாரியான அவர் மனோ வேகத்தில் பல உலகங்களுக்குச் சென்று வந்ததை இந்துக்கள் எல்லோரும் அறிவர் .
கட்டுரையின் இரண்டாவது பகுதியில் , இந்த இரண்டு அ.வே . துதிகளில் உள்ள வேறு சில அறிவியல் கருத்துக்களையும் எடுத்துக் காட்டுகிறேன்.

அப்போது தஞ்சையை ஆண்ட சரபோஜி மன்னன் அவரை ஆஸ்தான வித்வானாக நியமித்துக் கொள்ள எண்ணி அவருக்கு அழைப்பு விடுத்தான். ஆனால் அதற்கு அவர் இணங்கவில்லை.நிதி சால சுகமா என்ற கீர்த்தனையைப் பாடினார். நிதியா பெரிது, ராம பக்தி அல்லவோ பெரிது என்றார் அவர். மன்னனோ வற்புறுத்தினான். உடனே அவனுக்கு வயிற்று வலி வந்தது. காரணத்தை ஊகித்த அவன் தியாகராஜரிடம் மன்னிப்புக் கேட்க உடனே அவனது வயிற்று வலி நின்றது.
ஒரு சமயம் தல யாத்திரையாகக் கிளம்பிய தியாகராஜர் திருப்பதி மலைக்கு வந்தார். அர்ச்சகர்கள் அவரை உள்ளே விட மறுத்தனர். ஸ்வாமிக்கு முன்னே திரை தொங்கியது. உடனே தியாகராஜர் ‘தெர தீயக ராதா’ என்ற கீர்த்தனையைப் பாடத் தொடங்கினார். உடனே திரை கீழே விழுந்தது. தியாகராஜர் ஸ்வாமி தரிசனம் செய்தார். திருப்பதியிலிருந்து காஞ்சீபுரம் செல்லக் கிளம்பினார் தியாகராஜர். அங்கே வழியில் புத்தூர் என்ற கிராமத்தில் ஒரு பாலகன் இறந்திருந்தான். அவனை கருணையுடன் உயிர்ப்பித்தார். தியாகராஜரின் சம காலத்தில் வாழ்ந்து வந்த பலரும் அவரைச் சந்தித்து அவரிடம் ஆசி பெறுவதில் மிகக் குறியாக இருந்தனர். ஆசியும் பெற்றனர்.
ஶ்ரீ முத்துசாமி தீக்ஷிதர் திருவையாறு சென்று அவரை அடிக்கடி சந்தித்து இசை கேட்டு மகிழ்வது வழக்கம்.
கோபாலகிருஷ்ண பாரதியார் அவரது இல்லத்தின் வாசலில் ஒரு நாள் அமர்ந்து இசையைக் கேட்டுக் கொண்டிருந்தார். வெளியே வந்த தியாகராஜர் அவரிடம் எங்கிருந்து வருகிறீர்கள் என்று கேட்க அவர் மாயூரத்திலிருந்து வருவதாகச் சொன்னார். ‘அப்படியா, அங்கு கோபால கிருஷ்ண பாகவதர் என்பவர் சிறப்பாகப் பாடல்களைப் பாடுகிறாரே, அவரை உங்களுக்குத் தெரியுமா?’ என்று கேட்டார் தியாகராஜர். ‘அடியேன் தான் கோபாலகிருஷ்ணன்’ என்று பணிவுடன் பதிலிறுத்தார் கோபாலகிருஷ்ண பாகவதர். அவரை வரவேற்று மகிழ்ச்சியுடன் உபசரித்த தியாகராஜர், ‘ஆபோகியில் என்ன பாடல் பாடி இருக்கிறீர்கள்?’ என்று கேட்டார். தான் ஒரு பாடலையும் ஆபோகியில் இது வரை இயற்றவில்லை என்று பதில் கூறினார் கோபால கிருஷ்ண பாரதியார்.
தியாகராஜர் காவிரி ஆற்றுக்கு காலையும் மாலையும் இரு முறை தவறாது செல்வது வழக்கம். காவிரி ஆற்றுக்கு அவர் சென்று திரும்பி வந்த போது கோபாலகிருஷ்ண பாரதியார், ‘இதோ ஆபோகியில் இப்போது நான் இயற்றிய பாடல் இது’ என்று கூறி ‘சபாபதிக்கு வேறு தெய்வம் சமானமாகுமா’ என்ற பாடலைப் பாடிக் காட்டினார். இது தான் அந்தப் பாடல் பிறந்த கதை!
தியாகராஜரின் அண்ணனுக்கு அவரது பெயரும் புகழும் பிடிக்கவில்லை. ஒரு முறை அவர் பூஜித்து வந்த விக்ரஹங்களை அவர் காவிரி ஆற்றில் எறிந்து விட்டார். விக்ரஹங்களைக் காணாமல் துடிதுடித்துப் போன தியாகராஜர் அழுது புலம்பினார். பல பாடல்களைப் பாடி அரற்றினார். பக்தியும் சற்று சோகமும் ததும்பி இருக்கும் கீர்த்தனைகளாக இவை அமைந்துள்ளன. விக்ரஹங்கள் இருக்கும் இடத்தை இராமர் அருளால் அறிந்த அவர் அவற்றை மீட்டார்.
இதே போல தியாகராஜ ஸ்வாமிகள் இயற்றிய நூற்றுக் கணக்கான கீர்த்தனைகளும் ஒவ்வொரு சுவையான சம்பவத்தைத் தரும்.
ராமாயணத்தில் முக்கிய காண்டம் சுந்தர காண்டம். அதை மையமாக வைத்து ஸ்வாமிகள் புனைந்த கிருதிகள் அபாரமானவை.
தியாகராஜரின் பெண் குழந்தைக்கு சீதம்மா என்று பெயர். சீதம்மாவின் கல்யாணத்தில் அவருக்குப் பரிசாக வந்தவற்றில் சீதா ராம லக்ஷ்மண படமும் ஒன்று. அதைத் தன் பூஜை அறையில் வைத்து ‘நனு பாலிம்ப நடசி வச்சிதிவோ நா ப்ராணநாத’ என்ற கிருதியை இயற்றிப் பாடினார்.
சுமார் 212 ராகங்களில் அவரது கிருதிகள் அமைந்துள்ளன. அவரே உருவாக்கிய சுமார் 66 புதிய அற்புத ராகங்களில் அவர் கீர்த்தனைகளை இயற்றியுள்ளார். கேஸரி, சுத்த பங்களா, பங்களா, ஜிங்களா,நபோமணி, சுத்த தேசி, கோலாஹலம், வசந்த பைரவி, மஞ்சரி என்று அவர் இப்படி அவர் உருவாக்கிய ஏராளமான அபூர்வ ராகங்களைச் சொல்லிக் கொண்டே போகலாம். புரந்தரதாஸர் சுமார் 25 ராகங்களைப் படைத்துள்ளார் என்பதும் நினைவில் கொள்ளத் தக்கது.

Lot of scientific information in four Vedas is not analysed properly. If Indian scientists sit together and analyse cosmological information in the Vedas, they may predict certain things even before NASA or Russian Space Agencies.
I have already written how Atri Maharishi surprised his disciples by predicting the duration of a Total Solar Eclipse during Rig Vedic period. I also pointed out the Sun Spots referred to in the oldest book in the world, the Rig Veda (AV). Also read my predictions about planets in the Navagraha Stotra. This hymn explains the Hindu knowledge of planets; knowing that every object has gravity they named sun, moon, and other planets as Graha (Grip, Grab, attract). They named the largest planet Jupiter as Guru (heavy and one who elevates you). Only now scientists use the catapulting power of Jupiter to save fuel in space crafts.
Comparison between the first nuclear explosion in America and the Bhagavad Gita by Father of Nuclear explosion Robert Oppenheimer is known to most of you. I added one point by comparing the Viswarupa Darsanam to Blackholes.
I predicted that Mano vegam (Speed of thought or mind) can beat the speed of light, the fastest object in the universe. But I am not still satisfied about my own explanation of 60,000 thumb sized Valakhilyas travelling before Sun. Scientists must probe this Valakhilya ‘Lilliputians’ (Jonathan Swift’s Gulliver’s Travels).
Speed of thought is praised all through the Four Vedas. Devas mean ‘Light’ in Sanskrit. They exist in the form of light and travel at the speed of Mind. Light takes 4.5 light years to reach the nearest star Alpha Centauri, where as thought will take you in a fraction of a second. We have proof for it in the stories of Inter Galactic Traveller Narada Maharishi. (We have references to Narada in Atharvana Veda (AV) and Silappadikaram in Tamil.).
We have stories of Time Travel in the Vanaparva of Mahabharata, Time Dilation in Revati story of mythology. We have two beautiful episodes of Time Travel by Tamil Saivite saints Sambandar and Sundarar They went back in Time and brought back the dead girl and boy from the Parallel Universe. They came back grown ups according to their age. This shows that Time is Cyclical and everything happens again. Lord Krishna also confirmed it in the Bhagavad Gita by showing Arjuna all the baddies in Mahabharata were dead even before Arjuna killed them.
Hindu scriptures say more about Parallel Universe and Time Travel. Our projection of TIME as cyclical one and Big Shrink will be confirmed by scientific world soon. Big Bang theory and billions of galaxies are in all Tamil and Sanskrit devotional songs. Hindus knew it thousands of years before the West. Even a Hindu child recites a sloka where God is praised as bright as million Suns.

TIME TRAVEL IN AV
I would like to draw the attention of scientists to two hymns in the AV, where TIME is sung. My comments follow the hymns:-
AV; BOOK 19; HYMN LIII
A hymn to Time
1.Prolific, thousand-eyed, and undecaying, a horse with seven reins Time bears us onward. Sages inspired with holy knowledge mount him: his chariot wheels are all the worlds of creatures.
2.This Time hath seven rolling wheels and seven naves immorality is the chariot’s axle. This Time brings hitherward all worlds about us: as primal Deity is he entreated.
3.On Time is laid an overflowing beaker: this we behold in many a place appearing. He carries from us all these worlds of creatures. They call him Kāla in the loftiest heaven.
4.He only made the worlds of life, he only gathered the worlds of living things together. Their son did he become who was their Father: no other higher power than he existeth.
6.Kāla created land; the Sun in Kāla hath his light and heat. In Kāla rest all things that be: in Kāla doth the eye discern.
7.In Kāla mind, in Kāla breath, in Kāla name are fixt and joined. These living creatures, one and all, rejoice when Kāla hath approached.
8.Kāla embraces Holy Fire, the Highest, Brahma in himself. Yea, Kāla, who was father of Prajāpati, is Lord of All.
9.He made, he stirred this universe to motion, and on him it rests. He, Kāla, having now become Brahma, holds Parameshthin up.
10.Kāla created living things and, first of all, Prajāpati. From Kāla self-made Kasyapa, from Kāla Holy Fire was born.

HYMN LIV
A hymn to Kāla; a continuation of the preceding hymn
1.From Kāla sprang the Waters, sprang the regions, Brahma, Holy Fire. The Sun ascends by Kāla, and in Kāla sinks again to rest.
2.By Kāla freshly blows the wind, mighty through Kāla is the Earth: on Kāla rests the mighty Sky.
3.In Kāla erst the text produced what is and what is yet to be. From Kāla sprang the Richas, and from Kāla was the Yajus born.
4.They formed in Kāla sacrifice, eternal portion for the Gods. In Kāla the Gandharvas and Apsarasas and worlds abide.
5.Atharvan and this Angiras in Kāla are supreme o’er heaven. Both this world and the world that is most lofty, the pure worlds and pure intermediate spaces,—
6.Yea, having conquered all the worlds by Brahma, Kāla as God Supreme is supplicated.

MY COMMENTS
One should remember that these English translations were done before 1900. They are at least 125 years old. The modern science at that time did not know much about universe or concept of Time.
Germans dealt with these hymns in detail. Comments and translations are available from Ralph TH Griffith, Muir, Ludwig, Scherman , Monier Williams and Ehni.
Even going by this translation one would wonder to read the words :-
“Sages inspired with holy knowledge mount him” (SAGE CAN DO TIME TRAVEL)
“Kāla created yonder heaven, and Kāla made these realms of earth. (BILLIONS OF EARTHS)
By Kāla, stirred to motion, both what is and what shall be expand.” (EXPANDING UNIVERSE)
“He made, he stirred this universe to motion” (BIG BANG )
“In Kāla erst the text produced what is and what is yet to be.”
“On Time is laid an overflowing beaker” (Boiling Sun)
Hindu seers sang these hymns thousands of years ago. Whatever that comes in the 19th and 20th book of AV is a repetition of the oldest book in the world RV, according to Western Translators. So they are as old as RV.
KALA has two meanings:- Time, Death
Big Bang theory is evident in these lines. But scientists could not say why the Big Bang happened 1500 million years ago. What or Who made the Big Bang to happen? Hindus have the answer.
First, one must appreciate all the Hymns on Cosmology in the Vedas. The Hindu seers thought about this and sang about this and conclude GOD who is ABOVE or BEYOND time is the cause for it.
Praising GOD as BEYOND TIME (Kalathryateetah) is itself enough to show their scientific approach. Millions of Hindus recite Vishnu Sahasranama even today and the very first stanza describes God as Bhuta Bhavya, Bhavat Prabuhu.
Commenting on these words Adi Shankara, greatest of the ancient commentators, says “The Master of the past, future and present. As He is beyond the sway f time in its three aspects, He is eternal being, and thus His majesty is undecaying. He is therefore the real Prabhu/Lord”
This Hindu concept of one BEYOND or ABOVE time is unknown to Westerners and scientists. All the cosmological hymns in the Vedas raise question after question and conclude One is the cause for this.
Westerners who translated the Vedas did not know this approach and they said the ancient seers had lot of DOUBTS. A Big Joke! Even a Tamil Saint Tayumanavar of 18th century CE, sings a hymn in Tamil with Questions and leave the conclusion to the devotee. This is a genre. You raise lot of questions in the mind of hearer and make him to think about God.
Even a layman in Hinduism believes that God can travel faster than light. He invokes God after purifying himself, worship him or her inside his heart and say good bye at the end so that God can travel back to his abode in the sky. I do it everyday in my Sandhya Vandana ritual. So, Hindus believe in Time Travel.

BASIC INTERPRETATION
At the basic level the two hymns on Time may be interpreted as Hymn on Sun. even that is scientific. When sun sets every evening ONE DAY in our life is gone. They play on the words NUMBER SEVEN in these hymns. Though it is Seven colours of Sun Ray (VIBGYOR seen though prism), lot of philosophical or religious interpretations are given.
That may be right. Hindus like coded language, pun, riddles and puzzles. Certain RV and AV hymns are just numbers, numbers only!! One can interpret the way one likes.
But my focus lies in
“Sages inspired with holy knowledge mount him”
That is sages can travel mounting on it. Riding on it.
Those who are very familiar with the life stories of Hindu saints, know that the seers can interfere in Time, they can change future, they can predict what is going to happen. But they do it very rarely. Only one person has explained it in writing. Guruji Golwalkar, second chief of RSS, had miraculous powers that he displayed when he was young. He predicted he death of two people who were guests in his house. After they had lunch and left, he told his mother this prediction. She was very angry to hear that. But it came true. Both died in an accident. His mother chastised him and made him to promise not to use this power again. When reporters asked him to comment on it, very late in his life, he said that one can see TIME RUNNING LIKE A RIVER FROM THE TOP OF A HILL. Sages can go beyond or above time and see past, present and future (It was in one of the old Organiser magazine issues). Swami Vivekananda also said that everything is inside you in a film roll. You can unwind/unroll it and see. And he adds he was east bothered about it. For Yogis, it is a child play. They wouldn’t waste time.
The lines “ Sages inspired with holy knowledge mount him” mean a lot. Though out the RV, Bhutakrt is applied to Rishis/seers as well. Later, this epithet goes only with God as in Vihnu Sahsranama. It means Rishis are creators of objects, living beings. Adi Shankara in his commentary explains it thus – the creator and destroyer of all existence in the universe. Ancient Vedic seers had that power!

இசைத் துறையில் காவிரி வளர்த்த மகான்களில் முதலிடத்தைப் பெறுபவர் ஶ்ரீ தியாகராஜ ஸ்வாமிகள்.
இசை மூலம் பக்தி யோகத்தையும் கர்ம யோகத்தையும் ஞான யோகத்தையும் வாழ்ந்து காட்டி அதன் மூலம் இறைவனுடன் கலந்த மகான் அவர்.
கலியுகாதி வருடம் 4868, சாலிவாகன சகாப்தம் 1689க்குச் சமமான ஸர்வஜித் வருடம், சித்திரை மாதம் 25ஆம் தேதி திங்கள் கிழமை வைசாக சுக்ல ஸப்தமி பூச நக்ஷத்திரம் கடக லக்னம் சூரிய உதயாதி நாழிகை 15 1/2யில் – 1767ஆம் ஆண்டு மே மாதம் நான்காம் தேதியன்று(இதை நினைவில் கொள்வது சுலபம் 4,5,6,7) தமிழகத்தில் தஞ்சாவூர் பகுதியில் உள்ள தியாக ராஜ க்ஷேத்திரமாகிய திருவாரூரில் த்ரிலிங்க வைதிக தெலுங்கு பிராமணரான ராம ப்ரம்மம் என்ற பெரியாருக்கு மூன்றாவது மகனாக தியாகராஜர் அவதரித்தார். திருவாரூரில் பிறந்ததனால் இவருக்கு தியாகராஜன் என்ற ஊரின் ஈசன் நாமத்தைத் தாய் தந்தையர் சூட்டினர். ராம பக்தியில் ஈடுபட்ட இவர் ராமபக்தி சாம்ராஜ்யம் என்று தனது இசையில் ராமபக்தியை ஒரு சாம்ராஜ்யமாகக் குறிப்பிட்டதில் வியப்பில்லை. தற்செயல் ஒற்றுமையாக இருப்பினும் கூட தியாகராஜரின் தந்தையாரின் பெயர் ராமபிரம்மம் என்பதையும் அவரது தாயாரின் பெயர் சீதம்மா என்பதையும் நாம் கவனித்துப் பார்த்தால் அவரது அவதார நோக்கம் ராமரையும் சீதையையும் தொழுது பாடுவதே என்று கொள்ளலாம்!
இவருக்கு எட்டு வயதிலேயே உபநயனம் நடைபெற்றது. இவரது 18 வயதிற்குள்ளே வேதாத்யயனம், ஸம்ஸ்கிருதம், தெலுங்கு ஆகியவற்றில் நல்ல பயிற்சியைப் பெற்றுத் தேர்ந்தார். 18வது வயதில் திருமணமும் நடைபெற்றது. சோந்தி வெங்கடராமையர் என்பவரிடம் சங்கீதம் பயின்று வந்தார். ஒரு சமயம் ஶ்ரீ ராமகிருஷ்ண யதீந்திரர் என்னும் பெரியார் காஞ்சி மா நகரிலிருந்து தியாகராஜரைத் தேடி வந்தார். அவர் இவருக்கு தாரக நாமத்தை உபதேசித்து, அதைத் தொண்ணூற்று ஆறு கோடி முறை உச்சரிக்கும் படியும் அப்படி உச்சரித்தால் ஶ்ரீராமர் அவர் முன் பிரசன்னமாவார் என்றும் கூறினார்.
அதன்படியே தியாகராஜர் ராம நாமத்தை பயபக்தியுடன் அல்லும் பகலும் அனவரதமும் உச்சரிக்க ஆரம்பித்தார். 21 வயதிற்குள் 96 கோடி ராம நாம உச்சாரணம் முடிந்தது. அது முடிந்த சமயம் வீட்டின் கதவைத் தட்டும் சத்தம் கேட்டது. கதவைத் திறந்தவுடன் தியாகராஜர் கண்ட காட்சி அவரை மெய்ம்மறக்கச் செய்தது.
எதிரே ஶ்ரீராமர், சீதை, லக்ஷ்மணர் ஆகியோரின் தரிசனம் கிடைத்தது. உடனே அவர்கள் மறைந்து விட்டனர். புளகாங்கிதம் அடைந்த தியாகராஜர் ஏல நீ தயராது என்ற அடாணா ராகத்தில் அமைந்த கீர்த்தனத்தைப் பாடினார். அதுமுதல் அவர் வாக்கிலிருந்து சரளமாக கீர்த்தனை மழை பொழிந்து கொண்டே இருந்தது.
79 வருடம் 8 மாதம் 15 நாட்கள் அவர் வாழ்ந்ததாக வரலாறு குறிப்பிடுகிறது. தனது நீண்ட நெடும் வாழ்வில் அவர் சுமார் 24000 கிருதிகளை இயற்றியதாக அறிகிறோம். நமக்குக் கிடைத்திருப்பவை சொற்பமே. அவரது வாழ்வில் ஏராளமான அற்புத சம்பவங்கள் நிகழ்ந்து கொண்டே இருந்தன.
ஒரு சமயம் ஒரு கிழவர் அவருடைய தெய்வீக கானத்தைக் கேட்க வேண்டுமென்று விரும்பினார். பெரியவர் கேட்கிறாரே என்று தியாகராஜர் சுருதி சுத்தமாக கீதம் இசைக்க அதனால் மகிழ்ந்த பெரியவர் அவரிடம் ஒரு ஓலைச் சுவடிக் கட்டைக் கொடுத்து மீண்டும் வருவதாகக் கூறிச் சென்றார். ஆனால் அவர் வரவே இல்லை. தியாகராஜரின் கனவில் நாரதர் தோன்றினார். தான் தான் கிழவராக வந்து அவரிடம் ஓலைச்சுவடிக் கட்டைக் கொடுத்ததாகக் கூறினார் நாரதர். அதைப் படியுங்கள் என்று கூறியருளிய நாரதர் மறைந்தார்.

PANCHA JANAH -FIVE TRIBES -IN HYMN TO EARTH
The word ‘Pancha Janah’ in the Vedas is translated as five ‘RACES’ that came from ‘outside India’ according to foreign gangs that translated our Hindu Vedas. They criminalized Vedic Hindus, because the western criminals themselves massacred native populations in America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South America and Jallinanwala Bagh in Amritsar, India. The book ‘Roll of Honour’ gives the list of people they hanged in Bengal.
Let us analyse more mantras in the Bhumi Sukta of Atharvana Veda (AV).

The Hymn to Earth- Bhumi Sukta- gives us more details about the Vedic society in addition to description of Nature.
Vedic society had five important groups and they went out of India to spread Vedic culture through out the world. Their presence is very evident in Asia and Europe and less seen in other parts of the world.

Mantra 13
Here the poet describes the Yaga Kunda- Vedic Fire Altar and the tall bright poles erected at that time before the invocation. And he seeks the blessings from the mother earth with these structures on her.
Sangam Tamil literature describes the innumerable Yaga Poles in Pandya Kingdom with the Sanskrit word Yupam (See Purananuru 15 and 224). We also hear the Rajasuya Yagam done by the Choza king in the presence of Pandya and Chera kings and poetess Avaaiyar as a chief guest (see Purananuru 367). And Kalidasa, the greatest poet of India of first century BCE says that the Pandya king is always with wet clothes after the Avabrutha Snana (Ritual bath during Fire Ceremonies).

Archaeologists were surprised to see Yupa Pillars of King Mulavarman of Fourth Century CE in the so-called virgin forests of Borneo in Indonesia.
And we have very clear archaeological evidence in Turkey (See Bogazkoy inscription in Wikipedia) dated 1380 BCE. We also have evidence of Hindu presence in Egypt with Dasaratha letters (also known as Amarna letters; see Wikipedia) Central Asia is dotted with Sanskrit inscriptions. So, we have very clear proof of Hindu migration from India. Mayan civilization proved our presence in South America (all the details are in my old articles in this blog).
So, the poet’s description of earth with bright tall Yupa poles is justified.
And as usual poet prays to Mother Earth to bless ‘US’ not ‘me’.
He prays that earth should prosper and should bless us to prosper.
Sanskrit word Vardha= develop, grow is important in this 13th Mantra.

Mantra 14
He prays to mother earth to help them defeat the enemies like before. Two important messages are there. It is a continuous fight against enemies; they fought and won earlier also. The enemies mentioned here may be criminals who fight with good people or the people who damage earth. The enemies are said to attack the Vedic Hindus with weapons and ‘thoughts’. So we understand that there was psychological black mailing. We see in all translations of Westerners this psychological blackmailing. They divided Hindu society as Aryans and others with capital ‘A’ for Aryans. They gave the seal of a’ Race’ that came from outside India. Max Muller gang and Marxist gang did this to Hindus. In all other religious books, we find enemies and there they are baddies, but here in India they are aborigines. So, this type of THOUGHT enemies also spread hatred according to the poet.

Mantra 15
The poet mentioned the FIVE RACES here according to English translation. Races is a wrong word here. The Mantra says Pancha Janah. Janah= people(s). We see Chera, Choza and Pandya in Tamil Nadu fighting continuously among themselves for at least 1500 years. They worshipped same Hindu Gods, followed same Hindu culture and spoke same Tamil language. No one showed them as three RACES. Thank God, western scoundrels did not poison Tamil poems! Foreign translators of Vedas were criminals and scoundrels who came to plunder India. So they used all mischievous, poisonous words wherever possible. Arya should be translated as ‘cultured, civilized, educated’ and not with capital ‘A’ to show them as a separate RACE. One must be careful when one reads English translations of Hindu scriptures. Sayana, whom they quote very often, never mentioned Aryans coming into India from outside. And 2000 year old Sangam Tamil literature also considered the society from Kashmir to Kanyakumari as one indigenous group.
And in this 15th Mantra we see a society where even birds (bipeds) and animals( quadrupeds ) are included as part of one group that enjoys walking on earth. This broad view is reflected in many Tamil poems until recently by Bharati and Vallalar Ramalinga Swamikal. They sang that the plants and animals were their kith and kin.
The key words are Pancha Janah, Dvi pada/bipeds and Chatush pada /quadrupeds.
Pedestal, foot, feet, pedestrian, pedal and innumerable words in Tamil and English are derived from this Vedic Sanskrit word ‘Pada’.
Tamils also use it in the same way following Vedas. (Pada= p/adi for steps, foot, feet, in prosody ADI etc)

Mantra 16
It is very interesting to see the poet praying for blessings from all creatures on earth. Another proof for considering animals and birds as their own kith and kin. They respected Nature so much that they sought blessings from them. If this thought had continued until today, there would be no need for Department of Environmental studies in universities or ministry for environment or Green Party anywhere in the world.
And the poet refers Honey words. Honey word is associated with the Vedic Twins Asvins throughout the Rig Veda ( RV).
Tamil poet Tiruvalluvar also wonder (Kural 100) how come people use unripe words when fruity words are available
Using unripe/harsh words when fruity/pleasing words are available is like eating green/unripe fruits while there are ripe ones.
Honey word in RV and AV is a beautiful one.
We have seen 16 mantras out of 63 in this hymn.

New Delhi, Jan. 14: Indians migrated to Australia over 4,000 years ago and intermingled with the natives there, a genetic study has suggested, challenging the existing view that Australian Aboriginal populations remained largely isolated until the Europeans arrived in the late 18th century.
The international team of researchers that conducted the study said the migration seemed to coincide with changes in stone tool-making fashions and the introduction of wild dogs called “dingos” to Australia.
Scientists have known through earlier studies that modern humans dispersed out of Africa about 65,000 years ago and moved into India, the Andamans and Southeast Asian islands.
One such migratory wave some 40,000 years ago brought the ancestors of the Aborigines into Australia where, under prevailing ideas, they remained largely isolated till the British established settlements there in the 1780s.
The new study, published today in the US journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, has detected genetic evidence for a “substantial gene flow between Indian populations and Australia” long before the Europeans arrived.
“We’ve estimated the amount of Indian contribution to Australian genomes at about 10 per cent,” said Irina Pugach, a scientist at the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology in Germany and the first author of the study.

ஆலயம் அறிவோம் தொடரில் இன்று நமது யாத்திரையில் இடம் பெறுவது தக்ஷிண கைலாஸம் என்ற புகழைப் பெற்ற திருவையாறு திருத்தலம் ஆகும். தமிழகத்தில், தஞ்சாவூருக்கு வடக்கே 10 கிலோமீட்டர் தொலைவில் இது அமைந்துள்ளது.
மூலவர் : ஸ்ரீ பஞ்சநதேஸ்வரர், ஐயாறப்பர் ஸ்வயம்பு மூர்த்தி. அம்பிகை : தர்மஸம்வர்த்தனி, அறம் வளர்த்த நாயகி 32 அறங்களை வளர்த்துக் காத்ததால் அம்மனுக்கு இந்தச் சிறப்புப் பெயர் அமைகிறது. தல விருக்ஷம் : வில்வ மரம் தீர்த்தம் : சூர்ய தீர்த்தம், காவிரி
காவிரி மற்றும் அதன் கிளை ஆறுகளான குடமுருட்டி, வெண்ணாறு, வெட்டாறு, வடவாறு என ஐந்து ஆறுகள் சேரும் இடம் இது என்பதால் திரு ஐயாறு என்ற பெயரைப் பெற்றது. அத்துடன் இன்னொரு காரணமும் உண்டு. நந்தி தேவர் இந்தத் திருத்தலத்தில் ஏழு கோடி முறை ருத்ர ஜபம் செய்து இறைவனால் ஐந்து தீர்த்தங்களால் தீர்த்தமாடப் பெற்றதாலும் இது திரு ஐயாறு என்ற பெயரைப் பெற்றது.
இத்தலத்தைப் பற்றிய புராண வரலாறு ஒன்று உண்டு. இத்தலத்திற்குப் பக்கத்தில் உள்ள அந்தணக்குறிச்சி என்னும் இடத்தில் திருவாதிரை நன்னாளில் சிலாத மஹரிஷிக்கு நந்தியெம்பெருமான் அவதரித்தார். அன்று மாலை ஈசன் நந்தியை இங்கு அழைத்து வந்து ஐந்து வித தீர்த்தங்களால் அவருக்கு அபிஷேகம் செய்தார். சூரிய தீர்த்த நீர், சந்திர தீர்த்த நீர், நந்தி வாயில் ஒழுகிய நுரை நீர், காவிரி நீர், அம்பாளின் திருமுலைப்பால் ஆகிய நீர் என ஐந்து தீர்த்தங்களால் அபிஷேகம் செய்யப்பெற்ற நந்தி அதிகார நந்தி என்ற பட்டம் சூட்டப்பட்டு காவல் பொறுப்பை மேற்கொண்டார்.
இந்தத் தலத்தில் திருநாவுக்கரசருக்கு சிவபிரான் கைலாஸ தரிசனம் கொடுத்தார். இந்த ஐதீகத்தைக் காட்டும் உற்சவம் ஆண்டு தோறும் ஆடி அமாவாசையன்று நடைபெறும்.சுந்தரமூர்த்தி நாயனாரும் சேரமான் பெருமாள் நாயனாரும் தரிசனம் பெற்ற தலமும் இதுவே தான்.
இந்திரனும், வாலியும் இங்கு வந்து பூஜித்துள்ளனர்.
திருவையாறு, ஸ்ரீ வாஞ்சியம், அர்ஜுனம், கௌரிமாயூரம், சாயாவனம்,
ஸ்வேதாரண்யம், ஆகிய ஆறு ஸ்தலங்களும் காசிக்குச் சமமான தலங்கள் ஆகும். திருவையாறு, திருப்பழனம், திருச்சோற்றுத்துறை, திருவேதுகுடி, திருக்கண்டியூர், திருப்பூந்துருத்தி, திருநெய்த்தானம் ஆகிய ஏழு தலங்களும் ஸப்த ஸ்தான தலங்களாகும். இதில் திருவையாறு முதல் இடத்தைப் பெறுகிறது. இங்கு ஆண்டு தோறும் நடைபெறும் ஏழூர்த் திருவிழா பிரசித்தி பெற்ற ஒன்று. சித்திரை மாதம் பௌரணிக்குப் பின் வரும் விசாக நக்ஷத்திரத்தன்று பஞ்சநதேஸ்வரர் தர்மஸம்வர்த்தனியுடன் புறப்பட்டு ஒவ்வொரு ஸப்த ஸ்தான தலத்துக்கும் செல்ல அவரை அங்குள்ள பெருமான் எதிர்கொண்டழைப்பார். இப்படி ஏழு தலங்களுக்கும் சென்ற பின்னர், மறு நாள் காலை திருவையாற்றை கண்ணாடிப் பல்லக்குகளில் ஏழுர் மூர்த்திகளும் அடைவர். கோலாகலமாகக் கொண்டாடப்படும் இத்திருவிழாவில் ஏராளமான மக்கள் கலந்து கொண்டு ஈசனின் அருளைப் பெறுகின்றனர். பிரம்மாண்டமான கோவிலில் கிழக்கு ராஜகோபுரமே பிரதான வாயில். இது ஏழு நிலைகளை உடையது. உள்ளே வலது புறம் பெரிய மண்டபத்தில் வல்லப விநாயகர் மற்றும் தண்டபாணி சந்நிதிகள் உள்ளன. உட்கோபுரம் மூன்று நிலைகளை உடையது. உள்ளே வலமாக வரும் போது சூரிய தீர்த்தத்தைக் காணலாம். தெற்கு வாயிலின் வெளிப்புறத்தில் ஆட்கொண்டார் சந்நிதி உள்ளது. இங்கு இந்த சந்நிதியில் ஜ்வாலையுள்ள ஒரு குழியில் குங்கிலியம் போட்டுக் கொண்டிருப்பார்கள். இதற்கு அப்பால் அப்பருக்குக் கயிலை காட்சி அருளிய கோவில் தனி அமைப்புடன் உள்ளது. மேற்குக் கோபுரம் ஏழு நிலைகளுடன் அமைந்துள்ளது.
அடுத்து இங்குள்ள உலக மாதேவீ ச்சரம் என்னும் தனிக் கோயில் உள்ளது. அங்குள்ள பிரகாரத்தில் ஒலி கேட்கும் இடம் என்ற இடத்தில் கற்சுவரில் அமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ள இடத்தில் உள்ள குழியில் வாயொலியாக ஐயாறா என்று கூவினால் அது பலமுறை திருப்பி எதிரொலிக்கும் அதிசயத்தைக் காணலாம்; கேட்கலாம். இங்கு ஆவுடையார் மீதுள்ள ஆவுடையார் விநாயகரை தரிசித்து அருள் பெறலாம். ஏராளமான சிற்பச் சிறப்புகள் கொண்ட கோவில் இது.
இந்தத் தலத்தில் தான் கர்நாடக ஸங்கீத மும்மூர்த்திகளில் முதல்வராக உள்ள ஸ்ரீ தியாகராஜ ஸ்வாமிகள் வசித்து வந்தார். அவரது சமாதி இங்கு காவேரியாற்றின் கரையில் உள்ளது. அது கோவிலாகக் கட்டப்பட்டிருக்கிறது. ஆண்டுதோறும் புஷ்ய பகுள பஞ்சமியன்று உலகெங்குமுள்ள சங்கீத வித்வான்கள் இங்கு வந்து அவருக்கு ஆராதனை செய்கின்றனர்.
இந்தத் தலத்தில் திருஞானசம்பந்தர் ஐந்து பதிகங்களையும் திருநாவுக்கரசர் 12 பதிகங்களையும் சுந்தரர் ஒரு பதிகத்தையும் பாடி அருளியுள்ளனர். அருணகிரிநாதர் ஒரு திருப்புகழ் பாடலைப் பாடி அருளியுள்ளார். காலம் காலமாக ஆயிரக்கணக்கான பக்தர்களுக்கு அருள்பாலித்து வரும் ஸ்ரீ பஞ்சநதேஸ்வரரும் தர்ம ஸம்வர்த்தனி அம்மனும் அனைவருக்கும் சர்வ மங்களத்தைத் தர ஞானமயம் சார்பில் பிரார்த்திக்கிறோம்.
