Hindu’s fourth Veda Known as Atharvana Veda (AV) has very interesting information about magical and miraculous herbs. One hymn talk about making you invisible; another verse makes you to see the future. How good would it be to see future of yourself, your family members, the government, and your own country? Commenting on this hymn Ralph T H Griffith mentioned that even Milton’s Paradise Lost has some information like this.

Let us look at the hymn in AV, Book 4; Hymn 20 (Sukta 122)

The hymn is a charm addressed to a magical plant, for the acquisition of superhuman powers of sight.

First let me give you the interesting bits, before giving you the full verse:


Mantra  1 in the hymn:

“It” : the magical plant; O Goddess, the divine plant is directly addressed and also spoke of in the third person. The plant is said by Daarila (one of the ancient commentators) to be the Sadam Pushpaa (Semperflorens, Ever blooming), not yet identified. Its virtues resemble those attributed in England to Euphrasy or Eyebright. The plant with which together with Rue, and three drops from the Well of Life, the Archangel Michael ‘purged the visual nerve of Adam’ (Paradise Lost XI. 414), and enabled him to look into the distant future.

MY COMMENTS

This is nothing new to Hindus. We have a whole book called Bhavishya Purana (Bhavisya= Future) giving what is going to happen in future. There is a very clear description of Kaliyuga in Puranas and Vana Parva of Mahabharata (Please see my earlier articles on the same subject).

In Bhagavad Gita, Krishna shows to Arjuna, what will happen in future. Even before Arjuna killed his foes, they were all devoured by TIME. Probably Hindus believed in a Parallel Universe, where everything is acted already and recorded. I wrote about Time Travel by two Tamil Saints Tiru Gnana Sambandar and Sundarar , both of them went back in Time and brought back the dead alive. Thousand years ago they recorded it in verse and said two dead people were grown up according to their age when they came alive. That shows the dead people were living somewhere in some state or level.

And we have one more incident of Live TV broadcasting by Sanjaya in Mahabharata. The Blind King Dhritarashtra wanted to know what happened to his sons in the battlefield of Kuru kshetra. Sanjaya got divine vision to see it LIVE and he told everything in a running commentary.

The Western world knows only one Nostradamus, but Hindus have thousands of Nostradamus. They did not want to interfere in the Cyclical Time, but watched them as if children watch Video games. Very rarely they interfered in the course of TIME and did some miracles. This blog has lot of miracles done by saints regarding FUTURE. Nowadays westerners use this theme in science fiction stories.

What is this herb?

Unfortunately, the hymn did not name the herb. Why? Our seers deliberately hid some information from the public. They knew that even one bad guy can abuse it and destroy humanity. We read about Rasputin like characters throughout history. Even several Hindu saints were jailed for abusing their super human powers. Hindu scriptures say that while you practise certain Yogic things, Goddess will send you temptations in the form of magical powers. Several saints misuse them and never go up in the spiritual ladder and land themselves in prisons.

Even Swami Vivekananda , while replying to a question about PAST, he said everything is recorded in a film roll and placed inside you. If I wanted to see I can unroll it and see, but I am least interested in it. Imagine yourself in his condition and dared to look at your future. What would happen to you mentally if you come to know that you were a worm in the dirtiest place on earth in your past life! So, better not look at past or future but concentrate more on PRESENT is the advice of Hindu saints.

Mantra 2

In the second Mantra of the hymn, the seer wants to see ‘Three Several Heavens’, ‘Three Several Earths’ and these ‘Six regions’ one by one.

The footnote given by Griffith is not satisfactory. Vedic seers use NUMBERS indiscriminately. No. 3 and No.7 occur in thousands of places. Not all mean the same. Even in Harappan civilisation No. 3 and No.7 are seen more in seals showing that it is a Vedic Civilization.

Here Griffith says three heavens are Earth, Sky and Heavens. Again they are divided into three. No.6 mean four directions and Up and Down making it Six.

My Comments

We see the underlying meaning clearly. The seer believes that he can see up to heaven with the help of the herb; he was very clever in saying ‘IT’ without naming the herb.

Suppose we consider it a fiction, then we must at least give the credit of writing the first science fiction story to the seer.

Mantra 3

It is more interesting from another angle; Here comes two similes, one regarding tired bride longing to go to bed in the palanquin (portable bed). ‘Vahyam’ is the Sanskrit word used here. Vah= to carry. Until this day we use Vahanam for vehicles and temple Mounts of Gods/Vahanam. English word ‘VEH’ilcle is derived from  this VAH, so do Tamil Vaahanam (in temples)

Another simile is Eagle , which is Garutman in Sanskrit. Here the interpreters say it is Sun. Veda called Sun as eagle, ship, one wheeled chariot, Eye, speckled cow (with Sunspots), swan etc. Highest number of epithets to Sun is found in the Vedas than any literature in the world.

My Comments

Throughout Vedas we come across Suparna, Syena, Garutman etc which foreigners translate as falcon, eagle, vulture, kite without rhyme or reason. Sun is called Eagle because it looks from top with clear vision.

But I would go further; eagles are praised for bringing miraculous Soma herb from the top of the Himalayan range. We may look at it as a magical bird who can identify miraculous herbs. The Vedic Seers/Rishis might have trained them to identify the magic herbs and bring them. In another verse in Atharva Veda a seer sings about the amazing abilities of birds and animals in identifying the magical herbs (Read my article posted recently)

Mantra 4

God with 1000 eyes; this phrase is repeated several times throughout the Four Vedas. It is applicable to most of the Vedic Gods. The most famous Purushasukta hymn of Rig Veda 10-90 described the Cosmic Person (English word Person is derived from Purusha in Sanskrit) with 1000 eyes (Sahasraaksha); later Puranas attributed it mostly to Indra. One interpretation is Indra is Sky and 1000 eyes are Stars.

The same mantra give two more interesting points:

Arya and Shudra: Let 1000 eyed god place “IT” on my Right Hand and I will see each Shudra and each Arya; Four castes are mentioned in only one place in the oldest book Rig Veda (10-90). Here Arya and Shudra were only mentioned; not all the four castes. We may take it as all human beings.

The other interesting point is Let 1000 eyed God place it on my RIGHT HAND.

This right hand is praised sky high only in Hinduism. All rituals regarding negative things such as death are left handed. Hindus circle the dead body in anti clockwise direction. All good things are done with right hand, right foot, right shoulder etc. Tamils sing “O New Bride! Step with Your right foot into this New House (husband’s house)” . 2000 year old Sangam literature say that tigers would consume its prey only when it falls on its RIGHT side!

Brahmins in their thrice a day ritual called ‘Sandhyavandana’ start with their right side in doing everything. Brahmins use left side for giving oblations to departed souls. The Pradakshina (circumambulation) means going in the right direction (Dakshina = South, Right. Facing East you begin your rituals and then turn right to do a round)

So much information is there in that one word. Throughout the Vedas, we see the significance of Right Side.

Mantra 5, 6, 7, 8

These four mantras deal with demons, ghosts etc. all negative forces. Kimidins, Yatudhanas, Pisachas  and Kasyapas.

My Comments

We don’t have a proper interpretation for Kasyapas. It is the name of a Seer /Rishi. But here it is explained as “semi divine genii connected with or regulating the course of sun”. it is not making any sense. We know the 60,000 thumb sized Valakhilyas travelling in front of Sun (read my article on Valakhilyas and Gulliver Travels Lilliputians)

Another thing mentioned here is the HOUND WITH FOUR EYES. It is already in RV 10-14-11. Yama god of death comes with Two Dogs and their eyes (2+2) make Four. Sarama and Sarameya are taken by the Greeks and changed to Hermes (H=S in Greek). Please read my old article on Hermes= Sarama.

So, we understand the magical herb would help anyone not only to look into future but also to drive away the evil spirits.

Last Mantra (9)

This mantra speaks about the fiends flying in the mid air. Here, Griffith adds, as witches in Europe are popularly believed  to do.

This is very superficial; Hindus have a long list of Ghosts with different capacities and various habitats. Westerners couldn’t even explain the Chost ‘KIMIDIN’

Griffith’s explanation:

Kimiidin- One of a class of malignant spirits. According to Nirukta of Yaska,the word originally means one who goes about crying ‘Kim Idaaniim? Quid nunc? What now?’ or ‘Kim Idam? What is this?’ Literally a quid nunc; a vile an treacherous spy and informer.

  Make the Pisācha manifest as Sūrya when he rides at noon.


8.Kimidin, Yātudhāna from their hiding-places have I dragged.
  I look on every one with this, Sūdra and Aryan man alike.


9.Make that Pisācha visible, the fiend who flies in middle air,
  The fiend who glides across the sky, and him who deems the
   earth his help.

ஸ்ரீ சதாசிவ ப்ரஹ்மேந்திராள் – 1

அன்பார்ந்த தமிழ் நெஞ்சங்களே சந்தானம் நாகராஜன் வணக்கம். நமஸ்காரம்.

காவிரிக் கரை கண்ட மகான்களில் மிகப் பெரும் சித்திகளைப் பெற்று பகவன் நாமத்தை உச்சரித்து அனைவருக்கும் வழி காட்டிய மகான் ஸ்ரீ சதாசிவ ப்ரஹ்மேந்திர ஸ்வாமிகள் ஆவார். இவர் திருவிசைநல்லூர் ஐயாவாளின் சமகாலத்தவர்.

இளமையிலேயே அனைத்து சாஸ்திரங்களையும் கற்றுத் தேறிய இவர், பெரும் வித்வான்களுடன் வாதத்தில் இறங்கி ஜெயிப்பது வழக்கம். காஞ்சி காமகோடி பீடத்தில் 57வது பட்டத்தை அலங்கரித்த ஸ்ரீ பரமசிவேந்திர சரஸ்வதி அவர்களை குருவாக வரித்தார் இவர்.

இளமைக்காலத்தில் சிவராமகிருஷ்ணன் என்ற பெயரைக் கொண்டிருந்த இவர் தனது உடன் பயிலும் தோழனாகத் திருவிசைநல்லூர் ஐயாவாளைக் கொண்டிருந்தார்.

ஒரு நாள் இவரது வாதத்தைப் பொறுக்கமாட்டாத வித்வான்கள் இவரது குருவிடம் இவரைப் பற்றி புகார் செய்யவே, அவர் இவரை அழைத்து, “அனைவரது வாயையும் அடைத்து மூடி விடுகிறாயே, நீ எப்போது உன் வாயை மூடப் போகிறாய்?” என்று கேட்டார்.

அந்த க்ஷணத்திலிருந்தே அவர் மௌனத்தை மேற்கொண்டார். இவருக்குத் இளமையிலேயே திருமணம் செய்து வைக்கப்பட்டது.
ஆனால் வீட்டிலிருந்து வெளியேறி எல்லா இடங்களிலும் சுற்ற ஆரம்பித்தார். நாளடைவில் ஆடைகளையும் களைந்து திரிய ஆரம்பித்தார்.
பின்னர் பெரும் சித்திகளை அடைந்தார். இவரது அருள் விளையாடல்கள் பற்றி வரலாற்றுக் குறிப்புகள் பல உண்டு.

சிலவற்றைப் பார்ப்போம்.

காவேரிக் கரையில் அமைந்துள்ள மஹாதானபுரத்தில் ஒரு நாள் இவரைச் சுற்றி இருந்த சிறுவர்கள், பல மைல்கள் தள்ளி இருந்த மதுரையில் நடக்கும் ஒரு திருவிழாவைக் காண வேண்டுமென்று விரும்பினார்கள். அவர்களது விருப்பத்தைத் தெரிந்து கொண்ட சதாசிவர் அவர்களிடம் கண்களை மூடுங்கள் என்றார். சிறுவர்களும் கண்களை மூடினர். சில விநாடிகள் கழித்துக் கண்களைத் திறந்த போது அவர்கள் அனைவரும் மதுரையில் இருந்தனர்.

ஒரு நாள் தானியக் குவியல் அருகே இவர் தியானத்தில் ஆழ்ந்திருந்தார். அந்த நிலத்தின் சொந்தக்காரனான விவசாயி இவரைத் திருடன் என்று நினைத்து இவரை அடிக்கத் தன் கம்பை ஓங்கினான். ஆனால் அசையக் கூட முடியாமல் அப்படியே சிலையாக நின்றான். காலை வரை இந்த நிலை நீடித்தது. தனது தியானத்தை முடித்த சதாசிவர் அந்த விவசாயியைப் பார்த்து சிரித்தார். அவன் உடனே தன் சுயநிலைக்கு வந்தான். இவரைப் பெரிய மகான் என்று உணர்ந்த அவன் இவர் காலில் சாஷ்டாங்கமாக விழுந்தான்.

தியானத்தில் தன்னை மறந்த நிலையில் இருப்பது இவர் வழக்கம். ஒரு முறை காவேரியில் அப்படி ஆழ்ந்த தியானத்தில் இருந்த போது வெள்ள நீரில் அடித்துச் செல்லப்பட்டார். வாரங்கள் சில கழிந்தன. கிராமத்தார் மண் குவியலைத் தோண்டிய போது இவர் அதிலிருந்து வெளிப்பட்டார். தன் நிலை உணர்ந்து நடக்கலானார்.

புதுக்கோட்டையை அப்போது ஆண்டு வந்தவர் மஹாராஜா விஜய ரகுநாத தொண்டைமான் (1730-1768). அவர் சதாசிவ பிரும்மத்தின் பெருமையைக் கேள்விப்பட்டு அவரை தனது அரண்மனைக்கு அழைத்து வருவதற்காக அவரிடம் சென்றார். மௌனத்தில் இருந்த சதாசிவர் தன் மௌனத்தைக் கலைக்கவில்லை. திருவரங்குளத்தில் முகாமிட்ட மன்னர் சதாசிவரை வணங்கி வந்தார். சதாசிவ ப்ரஹ்மேந்திரர் அவரை அழைத்து ஸ்ரீ தக்ஷிணாமூர்த்தி மந்திரத்தை மண்ணில் எழுதித் தந்தார். இது நடந்த வருடம் 1738ஆம் ஆண்டு.
அது மட்டுமின்றி பிக்ஷாண்டார் கோவிலைச் சேர்ந்த கோபால கிருஷ்ண சாஸ்திரி என்பவரை மந்திரியாக நியமித்துக் கொள்ளுமாறும் கூறினார்.
சதாசிவர் மந்திரம் எழுதிய மண்ணை தன் அங்கவஸ்திரத்தில் ஏந்திய மன்னர் அந்த மந்திர மண்ணைத் தன் பூஜையறையில் வைத்துக் கொண்டார். இந்த நிகழ்ச்சி நடந்த இடம் சிவஞானபுரம் என்னும் ஊராகும். இன்று வரை இது புதுக்கோட்டை அரண்மனையில் உள்ள தக்ஷிணாமூர்த்தி கோவிலில் தொழப்பட்டு வருகிறது.

1732ஆம் ஆண்டு அவர் புதுக்கோட்டையைச் சுற்றி இருந்த காடுகளில் திரிந்து கொண்டிருந்த போது சில வீரர்கள் அவரைக் கண்டு அவரிடம் விறகுகளைச் சுமந்து வருமாறு கட்டளை இட்டனர். அவரும் சந்தோஷமாக விறகைச் சுமந்து சென்றார். அதை சமையலறையில் கொண்டு வைத்தவுடன் அவை எரிந்து விட்டன. இதைப் பார்த்துத் திகைத்துப் போன வீரர்கள் அவர் யார் என்பதை உணர்ந்து அவரிடம் மன்னிப்புக் கேட்டனர்.

ஊமையாக இருந்த ஒருவன் அவர் பால் அதீத பக்தி கொண்டான். ஒருநாள் அவன் தலைமேல் கைவைத்து சதாசிவர் ஆசீர்வதித்தார். அவ்வளவு தான், உடனே அவன் பேசத் தொடங்கினான். அவர் தான் பின்னால் மிகவும் பிரசித்தி பெற்ற அக்ஷபுராண ராமலிங்க சாஸ்திரி ஆவார். இந்த சம்பவம் ஸ்ரீ சதாசிவேந்த்ர ஸ்தவத்தில் 22 மற்றும் 26வது செய்யுள்களில் கூறப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.

திருகோகர்ணம் சிவன்கோவிலில் ப்ரஹதாம்பாள் சந்நிதிக்கு அருகே அவர் ஆழ்ந்த தியானத்தில் இருப்பது வழக்கம். அவர் தியானம் செய்த இடத்தை இன்றும் அனைவரும் தரிசிக்கின்றனர்.

ஒரு சமயம் கோவில் கர்பக்ருஹத்திற்கு வெளியில் நின்று கொண்டு சிவ நாமாவளி அர்ச்சனையைச் சொல்லிக் கொண்டிருக்க ஒவ்வொரு நாமத்திற்கும் ஒரு புஷ்பம் மூல ஸ்தானத்தில் உதிர்ந்ததாம்.

நிர்வாணமாக அவர் தன்னை மறந்து அலைந்து கொண்டிருந்த போது ஒரு நாள் நவாபின் அந்தப்புரத்தில் செல்லலானார். இதனால் அதிர்ச்சியுற்ற நவாப் அவரைப் பிடிக்குமாறு கட்டளை இட்டான். வீரர்கள் அவரது இரு கைகளையும் வெட்டினர். ஆனால் எதுவுமே நிகழாதது போல அவர் சென்று கொண்டிருந்தார். இதனால் பிரமித்துப் போன முஸ்லீம் நவாப் வெட்டுப்பட்ட கைகளை எடுத்துக் கொண்டு அவர் முன்னால் சென்று மன்னிப்புக் கேட்டான். அந்தக் கைகள் முன் போல இருந்த இடத்தில் ஒட்டிக் கொண்டன. பேசாமல் தன் வழியில் சென்றார் சதாசிவர்.

Forest dept traps the monkeys after deaths of puppies in Maharashtra’s Beed

It was a “retaliatory attack” by these two monkeys.  

In the last three to four month, over 200 puppies have lost their lives after they were “taken away” by the two simians. According to several reports, the dogs were killed in an act of revenge by the simians after a few dogs killed an infant monkey.

Meanwhile, the two monkeys were captured by the forest department in Maharashtra’s Beed district for allegedly taking away some puppies and placing them on trees or roofs where they died either without food or after falling over the last few months, an official said on Sunday.

These monkeys were trapped on Saturday and shifted to their natural habitat, he said.

Range Forest Officer Amol Munde, however, said only 3 to 4 incidents of puppies dying after they were taken away by the two monkeys were reported from this village.

A villager, Radhakishan Sonawane, said the two monkeys used to take away puppies with them.

“Such incidents had been happening over the last three months. These two monkeys come to our village. They take away puppies with them to the roof of houses or at any other place at height.

Munde said the monkeys used to take away puppies, which was their “habit”.  “They take care of puppies. They used to keep puppies on roofs or tall trees. The puppies couldn’t survive at such places as they couldn’t get food or water. If a puppy escaped from the two monkeys it used to die after falling from a height. The reported incidents of the death of puppies in Lavool village are 3 to 4,” he added.

Responding to a query about whether these monkeys are targetting puppies in “retaliatory attacks”, he said no death of any baby monkey was reported in Lavool village in the last few months.

He said some people were also injured while running away from the two monkeys. “Monkeys generally don’t attack human beings but people are afraid. Some people were injured in the past few days while running away from these monkeys. However, no incident of any monkey bite was reported in this village,” Munde added.

MY COMMENTS

TAMIL LITERATURE AND EARLIER SANSKRIT LITERATURE describe the skills of animals and birds.

There are lots of cities and towns in India from Nagpur to Nagerkoil with animal names, each one giving some interesting story about snakes, elephants and spiders.

Memory power of elephants and snakes are reported in both languages.

Monkeys are described more in Sundara Kanda of Ramayana than any other literature in the world. The revenge attack of Ramayana monkeys may be compared with the above news from Maharashtra. Hanuman set fire to Sri Lanka as a revenge attack. Hanumar brought the Sanjeevini herb with the hills. He crossed the ocean and helped Rama to build a sea bridge to Sri Lanka. There we see Dr Monkey, Engineer Monkey and Mr Revenge Monkey!

Tamil literature described the shyness of monkeys after sex, Suicide committed by a monkey and rattle play of monkeys.

2000 year old Sangam Tamil literature described how Ramayana monkeys wore the jewels of Sita in the wrong way (See Purananuru 378).

Hindu story of aping is known to every child. A hat seller wanted to recover all the hats stolen by the monkeys while he was sleeping under a tree. He threw his hat in front of monkeys and all the monkeys imitated him. He chased the monkeys away and took his hats back.

Panchatantra fables also give us a story of an intelligent monkey which drove away the crocodile with evil intentions.

In short Hindu literature is full of stories with animal intelligence.

Till recently, psychologists did not know about animals dreaming. Hindu literature talks about animals dreaming.

Damayanti sent love letter though swans. Eagles brought Soma herb to Vedic priests according to Rig Veda, the oldest book in the world.

Eagles brought gem stones from mountain valleys according to Kalidasa. Arabs copied it their stories Arabian Nights.

Animals helped people to discover Ajanta, Angkor Vat, Sringeri and Panchalankurichi.

Scores of articles in this blog give stories about intelligent animals.

மண்ணவர் விண்ணவர் வணங்க வைகலும்
எண்ணிய தேவர்கள் இறைஞ்சும் எம் இறை
விண்ணமர் பொழில் கொள் வெண்காடு மேவிய
அண்ணலை அடி தொழ அல்லல் இல்லையே!
திருஞானசம்பந்தர் திருவடி போற்றி!

ஆலயம் அறிவோம்! வழங்குவது பிரஹன்நாயகி சத்யநாராயணன்.

ஆலயம் அறிவோம் தொடரில் இன்று நமது யாத்திரையில் இடம் பெறுவது நவகிரகங்களில் வித்யாகாரகன் என்று புகழப்படும் புத்திக்கு நாயகனான புத பகவானின் சிறப்புத் தலமான திருவெண்காடு திருத்தலம் ஆகும். தமிழகத்தில், சீகாழியிலிருந்து பதினைந்து கிலோமீட்டர் தொலைவில் இது அமைந்துள்ளது.

இறைவனின் திருநாமம் : ஸ்ரீ சுவேதாரண்யேஸ்வரர், வெண்காட்டு நாதர்

இவர் ஸ்வயம்பு மூர்த்தியாகக் காட்சி அளிக்கிறார்.

அம்மன் : பிரம வித்தியாம்பிகை

ஸ்தல வ்ருக்ஷம் : ஆல், கொன்றை, வில்வம், அரசு

தீர்த்தம் : சூரிய தீர்த்தம், சந்திர தீர்த்தம் அக்னி தீர்த்தம்.

இங்குள்ள சந்திர தீர்த்தம் அருகில் உள்ள ஆலமரத்தின் அடியில் ருத்ரபாதம் உள்ளது. இங்கு சிவபிரானின் திருவடிகள் வரையப்பட்டுள்ளன. இந்த ஆலமரத்தின் அருகில் முன்னோர்களுக்குத் திதி தர்ப்பணம் செய்தால் மிக நல்ல பலன்கள் ஏற்படும் என்பது ஐதீகம். சிரார்த்த தர்ப்பணங்களுக்கு உகந்த இடமாக இந்தத் தலம் அமைந்துள்ளது.

காவிரிக் கரையில் உள்ள ஆறு சிவ ஸ்தலங்கள் காசிக்குச் சமமாக கருதப்படுகின்றன. திருவையாறு, திருசாய்க்காடு, திருவிடைமருதூர், திருவாஞ்சியம், மயிலாடுதுறை ஆகிய ஐந்து தலங்களோடு திருவெண்காடும் காசிக்குச் சமமாகக் கருதப்படுகிறது.

இத்தலத்தைப் பற்றிய புராண வரலாறுகள் பல உண்டு. சலந்தரனின் மகனான மருத்துவன் என்பான் இறைவனை நோக்கித் தவம் செய்ய, இறைவன் அவனுக்குக் காட்சி தந்து சூலத்தைத் தந்து அதை நல்ல முறையில் பயன்படுத்துமாறு கூறி அருள் பாலித்தான். ஆனால் மருத்துவன் அந்த சூலத்தைக் கொண்டு தேவர்களைத் தவம் செய்ய விடாமல் துன்புறுத்தத் தொடங்கினான். இதை அறிந்த சிவபிரான் கோபம் கொண்டு நந்தியை அனுப்பினார். ஆனால் நந்தியின் மீதே மருத்துவன் சூலத்தை ஏவ, அந்தச் சூலம் நந்தியின் உடலை ஒன்பது இடங்களில் துளைத்தது. இதனால் சிவனே அகோரமூர்த்தியாக எழுந்து வந்து அவனை வதம் செய்தார். அப்படி வதம் செய்த நாள் மாசி மகத்திற்கு மறு நாள் ஆகும். அது ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை, பூர நட்சத்திரத்துடன் கூடிய நாள் ஆகும். இறைவனுக்கு எதிரில் வெளியே உள்ள நந்தியின் உடலில் ஒன்பது துவாரங்கள் இருப்பதை இன்றும் காண முடியும்.
இங்கு வழிபட்ட பிரமனுக்கு மனம் கனிந்து அம்பிகை வித்தையை உபதேசித்தாள். ஆகவே அவள் பெயர் பிரம வித்யாம்பிகை என அழைக்கப்படுகிறது.

ஆதி சிதம்பரம் என்று அழைக்கப்படும் இந்தத் தலத்தில் நடராஜரின் சபை சிதம்பரத்தில் உள்ளது போல செப்பறையில் உள்ளது. இங்கு சிவபிரான் ஆனந்த தாண்டவம், காளி தாண்டவம், கௌரி தாண்டவம், முனி தாண்டவம், சந்தியா தாண்ட்வம், திரிபுர தாண்டவம், புஜங்க தாண்டவம், சம்ஹார தாண்டவம், பைஷாடனம் ஆகிய ஒன்பது தாண்டவங்களை ஆடியுள்ளார்.
இந்தத் தலத்தின் புராணம் இன்னொரு வரலாற்றைத் தருகிறது. உத்தாலக முனிவரின் குமாரனான ஸ்வேதகேதுவிற்கு எட்டு வயது ஆகும் போது அவன் உயிரைப் பறிக்க யமன் பாசக் கயிற்றை வீசினான். அப்போது இறைவன் வெளிப்பட்டு அவனை சம்ஹாரம் செய்தான்.

கோவிலைச் சுற்றி இங்கு நான்கு தேரோடும் வீதிகள் உள்ளன. கோவிலின் உள்ளே நான்கு பிரகாரங்கள் உண்டு. இந்த ஆலயத்தின் கிழக்கிலும் மேற்கிலுமாக இராஜ கோபுரங்கள் அமைந்துள்ளன. வெளிப்பிரகாரத்திலிருந்து உள்ளே செல்ல இரு கூட கோபுரங்கள் அமைந்துள்ளன.

சூரியனும் சந்திரனும் இங்குள்ள மூலவரை வழிபட்டுள்ளனர். இங்குள்ள துர்க்கை சந்நிதியும் காளி சந்நிதியும் பிரசித்தி பெற்றவை. தேவேந்திரன், ஐராவதம், விஷ்ணு பகவான், சூரியன், சந்திரன், அக்னி, ச்வேத கேது, சுவேதன் உள்ளிட்டோர் இங்கு பூஜித்துள்ளனர். 

அம்பிகை பிரமவித்யா நாயகிக்கு இடது புறத்தில் புத பகவான் தனி சந்நிதியில் பக்தர்களுக்குக் காட்சி அளித்து அருள் பாலிக்கிறார். புத பகவானின் தந்தையான சந்திரனின் சந்நிதியும், சந்திர புஷ்கரணி தீர்த்தமும் புதன் சந்நிதிக்கு எதிரில் அமைந்துள்ளது. வித்யாகாரகனான புதனே கணிதம், லாஜிக், வைத்தியம், கம்ப்யூட்டர் ஆகிய அனைத்திற்கும் நாயகன். நாடகம், நடனம், புத்தக பிரசுரம் ஆகியவற்றிற்கு புதனின் பலமே வேண்டும்.

உடலில் நரம்பு இவன். நரம்பு மண்டலத்தின் ஆதாரமும் இவனே. வடகிழக்கு புதனுக்கு உரிய திசை. புதன் ஜாதகத்தில் வலுப் பெற்றிருந்தால் ஜோதிடக் கலை சித்திக்கும். விஷ்ணு புதனுக்கு அதி தேவதை. நாராயணன் ப்ரதியதி தேவதை. மரகதம் புதனுக்கு உகந்த ரத்தினம்; உகந்த நிறம் – பச்சை.
வாகனம் – குதிரை. உகந்த தானியம் – மொச்சை. கன்னியில் உச்சம் அடைவான். பால் பாயஸம் உகந்த நைவேத்யம். வெண்மை மலர்கள்
உகந்தவை.

உகந்த ராகம் ஸ்ரீ ராகம். நாயுருவி வைத்து வழிபட்டால் புத்திரப்பேற்றை அருள்வான். இந்தத் தலத்தில் புதனுக்கு பயறு தானியத்தின் மீது விளக்கேற்றினால் புத்தி தெளிவடையும். கல்வி மேம்படும். நரம்புத் தளர்ச்சி உள்ளிட்ட வியாதிகள் தீரும்.

இந்தத் தலத்தில் திருஞானசம்பந்தர் மூன்று பதிகங்களையும் திருநாவுக்கரசர் இரண்டு பதிகங்களையும் சுந்தரர் ஒரு பதிகத்தையும் பாடி அருளியுள்ளனர்.

காலம் காலமாக ஆயிரக்கணக்கான பக்தர்களுக்கு அருள்பாலித்து வரும் பிரம்ம வித்யா நாயகியும் ஸ்ரீ ஸ்வேதாரண்யேஸ்வரரும், புத பகவானும் அனைவருக்கும் சர்வ மங்களத்தைத் தர ஞானமயம் சார்பில் பிரார்த்திக்கிறோம்.

ப்ரியங்கு கலிகாஸ்யாமம் ரூபேணோ ப்ரதிமம் புதம் |
ஸௌம்யம் ஸௌம்ய குணோ பேதம் தம் புதம் ப்ரணமாம்யஹம் ||

ஞாழல் மொட்டு போன்ற ஒளியை உடையவன். உருவ அழகில் ஒப்புவமை இல்லாதவன். சந்திரனின் குமாரன். ஸௌம்யமானவன். அந்த புதனை நமஸ்கரிக்கிறேன்.

Sex – Hinduism shows the scientific way!

The Hinduism is not only a religion but it is also a philosophy, not only a religion and philosophy, but it is a way of life.

The Hindu shastras meaning scriptures shows the correct way as how to lead a successful life for every man and woman
There is a wrong notion that Hinduism hates the Sexual intercourse and compels everybody to hate the art of sex.
Maharishi Vatsayana in his kama sutra (The art of Sex) describes everything about sex in a beautiful manner.
According to the Hindu Shastras the women are of four types.
Padmini ( The Lotus girl), Chitrini (elegant girl), Sankhini (the tall girl) and Hastini (Elephant girl).

It is very rare to see a Padmini.
Draupadi, Ahalya, Anusuya, Sita are all of Padmini type.
Similarly we have types of men and poses in the art of Love.
The Hindu kings patronized poets in their courts. And these poets are well versed with the Kama Sastra (The Science of Sex) and used to compose love poems to please the king.
The people of the world should first read Kama Sutra of Vatsayana before marriage.
King Bhoja maharaja has written many books. He is a very great Sanskrit scholar. He has been credited with works of every branch of knowledge. It is learnt that he has written at least 84 books according to Ajada who has written a commentary on his book ‘Saraswathikantabharana’.

Sringara Prakasa is a beautiful book about the art of Love, written by him.
In this wonderful book we have 36 chapters.
Bhoja in his eleventh chapter deals with Love.

According to Bhoja Sringara rasa – Prema – Love is the only Rasa. And 49 Bhavas are born out of this Sringara.
The love is of 64 kinds. They are Abhilasa, Akanksa, Apeksha, Utkantha, Ipsa, Lipsa, Iccha, Vancha, Trsna, Lalasa, Sprha, Laulya, Gardha, Sraddha, Ruci, Dohada, Asa, Asis, Asamsa, Manoratha, Astha, Abhinivesa, Anubandha, Agraha, Vimarsa, Manisa, Abhiparaya, Paksapada, Lobha, Asanga, Abisvanga, Sakti, Moha, Akuta, Kuthuhala, Vismaya, Raga, Vega, Ashyavasaya, Vyavasaya, Kamana, Vasana, Smarana, Sankalpa, Bhava, Rasa hasa, Rati, Priti, Dakshinya, Anugraha, Vatsalya, Anukrosa, Visvasa, Visramba, Vasikara, Pranaya, Prapti, Paryapti, Samapti, Abhimanapti, Sneha, Prema, Ahlada and Nivrti.
Bhoja enumerated these 64 kinds of love with illustrations.

And each of these 64 kinds can be in eight forms. So now we get 512 varities.
And each of these 512 can be in 24 forms. So the total will be 12288!
Take any Love poem in any language of the world, you can see that it falls into one of these 12288 forms!

Nobody on earth has analyzed the most important aspect of life namely Sex so beautifully and scientifically as that of a Hindu.

Hinduism shows the way as to how to understand and lead a sexual life successfully to the utmost satisfaction of a man and woman.

There are more than one lakh love poems in Sanskrit Language. And in Tamil language there are thousands of Love poems.
Each has its own form and charm.
Readers should spare some time to read these poems!

உலகில் முதல் முதல் முதலில் மருத்துவ  நூலைக் கற்பித்தவர்கள் இந்துக்களே. ஆயுர் வேதம் என்னும் முறையே உலகின் பழைய மருத்துவ முறை; ஹிப்போக்ர ட்டீஸ் (Greek Physician Hippocrates 460 BCE)  என்பவரை மருத்துவத்தின் தந்தை என்று சொல்லுவது பிழை; அந்த கிரேக்க மருத்துவர் பெயரில் எம் பி பி எஸ். மாணவர்கள் உறுதி மொழி சொல்லுவதும் Hippocratic Oath  தப்பு. அவர் வாழ்ந்ததோ கி.மு 460. அவருக்கு இ 200 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்னர் வாழ்ந்த சுஸ்ருதர் செயற்கை மூக்கு ஆபரேஷன் பற்றிக்கூட எழுதியதை இன்று உலகம் அறியும். இன்று வரை நம் எம்.பி.பி.எஸ். M B B S மாணவர்க்கு இது தெரியாது!! சுஸ்ருதர், சரகருக்கு 2000 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்னரே  நீண்ட மூலிகைப் பட்டியல் அதர்வண வேதத்தில் உள்ளது. இதற்கு ஏராளமான ஆதாரங்கள் உலகின் பழைய நூலான ரிக் வேதத்திலேயே உள்ளது. அதன் பிறகு யஜுர் வேதம், அதர்வண வேதம் ஆகிய இரண்டு வேதங்களில் உள்ள தகவல்களை எவராலும் இன்றுவரை உறுதிப்படுத்த முடியவில்லை. இதோ ஆதாரங்கள்:–

ரிக் வேதத்தில் 10-97 துதியில்  107 மூலிகை பற்றிய குறிப்பு உளது. ஆனால் துரதிருஷ்டவசமாக நமக்கு 107 மூலிகைகைள அந்த ரிஷி சொல்லவில்லை

யஜுர் வேதத்தில் அஸ்வமேதம் எனப்படும் ‘குதிரைப் பலி’ யாகத்தில் 200 பிராணிகள், பறவைகள், தாவரங்கள் , யாகத் தீயில் போடப்படுவதாக நீண்ட பட்டியல் உளது. அவைகளில் பல தாவரங்களா, பிராணிகளா, பறவைகளா, பொருட்களா என்று எவராலும் சொல்ல முடியவில்லை; ஒரே சொல்லுக்கு ஆறு வெளிநாட்டுக்காரர்கள் ஆறு வித விளக்கம் சொல்லி சண்டை போடுகின்றனர்.

அதர்வண வேதத்தில் நிறைய பெயர்கள் வருகின்றன. சிலவற்றை சிலர் மூலிகை என்பர்; மற்றவர் இது தேவதை அல்லது பேய் அல்லது நோயின் பெயர் என்பர். நம்மவர்கள் சரக, சுஸ்ருத சம்ஹிதைகளுடன் உட்கார்ந்து கொண்டு ஆராய வேண்டும்.

அடுத்த ஆதாரம்- ஏதோ  ஒரு காரணத்துக்காக தர்ப்பைப் புல்லையும். சோம மூலிகையையும் 4 வேதங்களும் ‘இந்திரனே சந்திரனே’ என்று புகழ்கின்றன. இதில் சோம மூலிகை என்ன என்பதே எவருக்கும் தெரியாது. வெள்ளைக்காரர்களுக்குத் தெரிந்தால் பில்லியன் டாலருக்கு Patent பேடண்ட் உரிமை பெற்று Production ப்ரொடக்ஷன் துவங்கி விடுவார்கள். ஆனால் தர்ப்பைப் புல்லை இன்று வரையும் பிராமணர்கள் பயன்படுத்தி வருகின்றனர் . சுமார் 6000 வருடங்களாக மக்கள் புழங்கும் ஒரே சமய சம்பந்தமான  தாவரம் இதுதான் . துளசியும் விலவமும் பின்னர் வந்தவை!

உலகில் வேறு எந்த மத நூலிலும் இல்லாத விஷயங்கள் வேதங்களில் உள்ளன. சுமார் 40 உடல் உறுப்புகளின் பெயர்கள் ஒரே துதியில் உள்ளன.

ஏராளமான நோய்களின் பெயர்கள் ஒரே துதியில் உள்ளன ; பாபிலோனிய, எகிப்திய  நூல்களில் ஒரு சில மருத்துவக் குறிப்புகள் இருந்தாலும் இப்படி விஸ்தாரமாக இல்லை

கிரேக்க நாட்டு நூல்கள் அனைத்தும் வேதங்களுக்கு  பிற்பட்டவை.

ரிக் வேதத்தில்  (RV 1-112 -10 and 1-116- 15  ) விஸ்பலா என்ற பெண்மணி ஒரு காலை  போரில் இழந்ததாகவும் அஸ்வினி  தேவர்கள் , அவளுக்கு இரும்புக் கால் ஒன்றைப் பொருத்தியதாகவும் படிக்கிறோம். அதற்குச் சில ஆயிரம் ஆண்டுகளுக்குப் பின்னர் பாண்டிய மன்னனுக்கு தங்கக் கை பொருத்தப்பட்ட செய்தியை தமிழ் இலக்கியத்தில் படிக்கிறோம்.

அதர்வண வேதத்தில் குறிப்பிடப்படும் மூலிகைகளில் கீழ்க்கண்ட 10 மூலிகைகளை முக்கியமாகக் கருதலாம்

1.Apaamaarga அபாமார்க்க ; நிறைய இடங்களில் வருகிறது

2.Arundhati அருந்ததி /சிலாசி /ரோஹிணி /லக்ஷா (also known as Silaaci, Rohini, Laksa)- AV. VI-59-2

சோமம், தர்ப்பை தவிர அதிகம் பேசப்படுவது குஷ்ட மூலிகை, அருந்ததி மூலிகை. அப மார்க , அஸ்வத்த எனப்படும் அரச மரம் ஆகியன ஆகும் .

இதில் அரச மரம் பற்றி தமிழர்களுக்குத் தான் அதிகம் தெரிந்துள்ளது. உலகிலேயே பெரிய மரமான ஆல மரத்தைக்கூட விட்டுவிட்டு அரச மரத்துக்கு ‘அரசு’ என்று ராஜ Royal Name பெயரை சூட்டிய அற்புதத்தை நினைத்துப் பார்க்க வியப்பாக இருக்கிறது. மேலும் அரசு மரத்தைச் சுற்றினால் பிள்ளைப் பேறு உண்டாகும் என்று பழ மொழியும் சொல்லும். புத்தரோ இதன் கீழ் அமர்ந்து ஞானம் பெற்று அதற்கு ‘போதி’ மரம் என்ற பெயரையும் கற்பித்தார். வேத கால முனிவரின் பெயர் மிஸ்டர் அரசமரம்- அதாவது பிப்பலாடன் (Peepul, Pipal, Bodhi = Ficus religiosa = Arasa Maram/King Tree in Tamil)

அருந்ததி என்னும் மூலிகை எலும்பு முறிவைக் குணப்படுத்துமாம். ஆனால் அது என்னவென்று தெரியவில்லை. குஷ்ட என்னும் மூலிகையை இன்றும் உலகம் முழுதும் அதே ஸம்ஸ்க்ருதப் பெயரிலேயே அழைக்கின்றனர். குஷ்டா  என்பதை COSTUS கோஷ்டஸ் என்பர்

அது பற்றி வேதம் சொல்லும் தகவல் இதோ :-

மூலிகை பற்றி அதர்வண வேதம் ஆறாவது காண்டத்தில் ஒரு துதி உள்ளது. சூக்தம் எண்  268.. அதில் அஸ்வத்த மரத்துக்கு உயர்ந்த இடம் அளிக்கப்படுகிறது சொர்க்கத்தில் தேவர்களுக்கு அந்த மூலிகை கிடைத்ததாகவும், அது மரணமில்லப் பெருவாழ்வை அளிக்கும் என்றும் ஒரு ரிஷி பாடுகிறார். அது சகல ரோக நிவாரணி என்றும், பனி மலையில் விளையும்  தாவரம் என்றும் பாடப்பட்டுள்ளது . இந்த ஸம்ஸ்க்ருதப் பெயரையே (Kushtaa= Costus) தாவரவியல் நிபுணர்கள் சூட்டியுள்ளனர். ஏனெனில் இது பிரதானமாக இந்தியாவில் ஆதிகாலம் முதற்கொண்டே பயன்படுத்தப்படுகிறது  காஸ்மீரில் இது அதிகம்; இதே குடும்பத்தில் பல தாவரங்கள் இருப்பதால் இந்திய நூல்கள் சொல்லும் வகையை மட்டுமே பயன்படுத்தலாம். இப்போது பல கம்பெனிகள் இதை விற்பனை செய்கின்றன.

இதே பெயரில் உள்ள குஷ்ட நோயையும் இது போக்கும் என்று நம்பப்படுகிறது.

விலங்குகளில் புலி எப்படிப்பட்டதோ அப்படிப்பட்டது மூலிகைகளில் குஷ்டா . இதை சகல ரோக நிவாரணி என்று சொல்ல ‘விஷ்வ பேஷஜ’ (எல்லாவற்றுக்கும் மருந்து) வேதம் அழைக்கிறது; சோமம் என்னும் அற்புத மூலிகைக்கு நிகராகவும் கருதப்படுகிறது  ஹோமியோபதி, யுனானி மருதத்துவ முறைகளும் இதை பயன்படுத்துகிறது .புதிதாகப் பிரசவித்த பெண்களின் அறையில் இதன் நறுமணப் புகையை புகைக்கின்றனர் இதனுடைய களிம்பையும் பெண்கள் பயன்படுத்துவர்; தமிழர்கள் ஐயவி என்னும் வெண் கடுகை குழந்தை பெற்ற இடங்களில் நறுமணப் புகையாக ஏற்றி வைத்தனர்.

காணிக்கை நகைகளை உருக்க விதித்த தடை உத்தரவு மேலும் ஆறு வாரங்களுக்கு நீட்டிப்பு

கோவில்களுக்கு காணிக்கையாக வந்த நகைகளை உருக்குவது தொடர்பாக முடிவெடுக்கக் கூடாது என்ற உத்தரவை, மேலும் ஆறு வாரங்களுக்கு சென்னை உயர் நீதிமன்றம் நீட்டித்துள்ளது.

சென்னையைச் சேர்ந்த, ‘இண்டிக் கலெக்டிவ்’ அறக்கட்டளை தலைவர் டி.ஆர்.ரமேஷ் தாக்கல் செய்த மனு:கோவில்களில் உள்ள நகைகளை உருக்குவது தொடர்பாக, அறநிலையத் துறை உத்தரவு பிறப்பித்துள்ளது. கோவில் நிர்வாகம் தொடர்பாக, அறங்காவலர்கள் குழு தான் முடிவெடுக்க வேண்டும்.

கடந்த 10 ஆண்டுகளாக கோவில்களுக்கு வந்த நகைகளை உருக்கி, கட்டிகளாக மாற்றி, வங்கிகளில் டிபாசிட் செய்ய திட்டமிடப்பட்டுள்ளது. நகைகளை பாதுகாக்கும்படி, அறங்காவலர்களுக்கு ஆணையர் அறிவுறுத்தலாம். நகைகளை உருக்கும்படி உத்தரவிட முடியாது.

தமிழகத்தில், ஏராளமான கோவில்களில் அறங்காவலர்கள் நியமிக்கப்படவில்லை. அறநிலையத் துறை ஊழியர்கள், தக்காராக பணியாற்றுகின்றனர். அவர்களால் கொள்கை முடிவு எடுக்க முடியாது. எனவே, அறநிலையத் துறை கமிஷனரின் உத்தரவுக்கு தடை விதிக்க வேண்டும்; ரத்து செய்ய வேண்டும். நகைகளை உருக்குவதற்கு தடை விதிக்க வேண்டும். இவ்வாறு மனுவில் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது.

இவ்வழக்கு, பொறுப்பு தலைமை நீதிபதி எம்.என்.பண்டாரி, நீதிபதி ஆதிகேசவலு அமர்வில், விசாரணைக்கு வந்தது.அரசு தரப்பில் அட்வகேட் ஜெனரல் சண்முகசுந்தரம் ஆஜராகி, நகைககள் கணக்கெடுப்பு பணி நடப்பதாகவும், அறங்காவலர்களை நியமிப்பதற்கான நடைமுறைகளை மேற்கொள்வதாகவும் தெரிவித்தார்.

அதைத் தொடர்ந்து, வழக்கு விசாரணையை ஆறு வாரங்களுக்கு தள்ளி வைத்த முதல் பெஞ்ச், ஏற்கனவே பிறப்பிக்கப்பட்ட இடைக்கால உத்தரவை நீட்டிப்பதாகவும் தெரிவித்தது. இதற்கிடையில், அர்ச்சகர்கள் நியமனத்துக்கான விதிகள் மற்றும் அர்ச்சகர்கள் நியமனத்தை எதிர்த்த மனுக்களும், நேற்று முதல் பெஞ்ச் முன் விசாரணைக்கு வந்தன. பதில் மனு தாக்கல் செய்ய உத்தரவிட்டு, விசாரணையை, ஜனவரிக்கு முதல் பெஞ்ச் தள்ளிவைத்தது.

கிருஷ்ணகிரி மாவட்டத்தில் உள்ள மாரியம்மன் கோவில் சொத்துக்கள் விற்பனை தொடர்பாக, விரிவான விசாரணை நடத்த, அறநிலையத் துறைக்கு சென்னை உயர் நீதிமன்றம் உத்தரவிட்டுள்ளது.

சேலம், அல்லிக்குட்டையைச் சேர்ந்த ராதாகிருஷ்ணன் என்பவர் தாக்கல் செய்த மனுவில், ‘கிருஷ்ணகிரி மாவட்டம், அவதானப்பட்டி கிராமத்தில் மாரியம்மன் கோவில் உள்ளது. ‘கும்பாபிஷேகம் நடத்தவும், அடிப்படை வசதிகள் மேற்கொள்ளவும், சொத்துக்களை பாதுகாக்கவும், தகுந்த நடவடிக்கை எடுக்க உத்தரவிட வேண்டும்’ என கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. மாரியம்மன் கோவில் பரம்பரை அறங்காவலர்கள் குழு தலைவர் தேர்தலை நடத்தக் கோரி, திருப்பதி கவுண்டர் என்பவர் மனு தாக்கல் செய்திருந்தார்.

விசாரித்த நீதிபதி ஆர்.சுரேஷ்குமார் அறநிலையத் துறை சார்பில் அறிக்கை தாக்கல் செய்ய உத்தரவிட்டார். இதன்படி, கோவில் நிர்வாக அதிகாரி அறிக்கை தாக்கல் செய்தார்.நீதிபதி ஆர்.சுரேஷ்குமார் பிறப்பித்த உத்தரவு:

சிதம்பரம் நடராஜர் ஆலய ஆருத்ரா தேரோட்டம்

புகழ்பெற்ற சிதம்பரம் நடராஜர் ஆலய ஆருத்ரா தேரோட்டம் தொடங்கியது. சிதம்பரம் நடராஜர் கோயிலில் ஆருத்ரா தரிசன விழா நாளை (20ம்தேதி) நடைபெறுகிறது.

இதையொட்டி இன்று தேரோட்டம் நடைபெறுவது வழக்கம். ஆனால் கொரோனா தொற்று ஊரடங்கு காரணமாக தேரோட்டத்திற்கு அனுமதி மறுக்கப்பட்டு இருந்தது. அதற்கு பதிலாக இன்று காலை 9 மணி முதல் கோயிலுக்குள் சாமி கும்பிட பக்தர்களுக்கு வழிகாட்டு நெறிமுறைகளுடன் அனுமதி வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இந்நிலையில் நடராஜர் கோயில் தேரோட்டத்திற்கு அனுமதி அளிக்க கோரி நேற்று இரவு சாலை மறியல் போராட்டம் நடந்தது. சிதம்பரம் கீழவீதியில் நடராஜர் கோயில் எதிரே உள்ள சாலையில் நடந்த இந்த மறியல் போராட்டத்தில் பாஜக, இந்து முன்னணி அமைப்பைச் சேர்ந்தவர்களும், பக்தர்களும் பங்கேற்றனர்.

இதனால் பரபரப்பு ஏற்பட்டது.  இந்நிலையில், போராட்டம் நடைபெற்ற இடத்திற்கு வந்த கடலூர் மாவட்ட காவல் கண்காணிப்பாளர் சக்திகணேசன் தேரோட்டத்திற்கு அனுமதி அளிக்கப்படும் என தெரிவித்தார். சமூக இடைவெளியுடன் முகக்கவசம் அணிந்து குறைந்த அளவிலான பக்தர்களோடு தேரோட்டம் நடத்த வேண்டுகோள் விடுத்தார்.

 தேரோட்டத்திற்கு அனுமதி அளிக்கப்பட்டதை அடுத்து போராட்டம் நடத்தியவர்கள் கலைந்து சென்றனர். இந்நிலையில் சிதம்பரம் நடராஜர் ஆலய ஆருத்ரா தேரோட்டம் தொடங்கியது. ஆயிரக்கணக்கான பக்தர்கள் தேரை வடம் பிடித்து இழுத்து வருகின்றனர். நாளை சிறப்புமிக்க ஆருத்ரா தரிசனம் நடைபெறுகிறது.

‘பசுமை தமிழ்நாடு’ திட்டம் கொண்டு வந்துள்ள, தமிழக அரசுக்கு, ஈஷா அறக்கட்டளை நிறுவனர் சத்குரு ஜக்கி வாசுதேவ் பாராட்டு தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

தமிழக அரசு சார்பில், ‘பசுமை தமிழ்நாடு’ திட்டத்தில், அடுத்த, 10 ஆண்டுகளில், 265 கோடி மரங்களை நடுவதற்கு இலக்கு நிர்ணயிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

ஈஷா அறக்கட்டளை நிறுவனர் சத்குரு ஜக்கி வாசுதேவ் கூறியுள்ளதாவது:

காவிரி கூக்குரல் இயக்கம், பசுமை தமிழ்நாடு திட்டத்துக்கு தனது மனமார்ந்த ஆதரவை தெரிவித்து கொள்கிறது. இத்திட்டம், மண் வளத்தை மீட்டெடுப்பதற்கும், செழிப்பையும், நல்வாழ்வையும் அதிகரிப்பதற்கும் மிகவும் அவசியம். தமிழக அரசுக்கு பாராட்டுக்கள். இவ்வாறு, சத்குரு ஜக்கி வாசுதேவ் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

பசுவை பாதுகாக்க மக்கள் ‘வாள்’ வைத்துக் கொள்ளவேண்டும் – விஸ்வ இந்து பரிஷத் நிர்வாகி

செல்போன் வாங்க லட்சக்கணக்கில் செலவு செய்யும்போது பசுக்களை பாதுகாக்க மக்கள் ஆயுதங்களையும் வாங்க வேண்டும் என விஸ்வ இந்து பரிஷத் பெண் நிர்வாகி தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

இது தொடர்பாக சாமியார் சரஸ்வதி கூறுகையில், லட்சக்கணக்கான ரூபாய் மதிப்பிலான செல்போன்களை வாங்க மக்களிடம் பணம் இருக்கும்போது, அவர்கள் பசுக்களை பாதுகாக்க ஆயுதங்களை வாங்கி வீட்டில் வைத்துக்கொள்ள வேண்டும். இது தங்கள் தெய்வீக தாயை பசு வதை செய்வதில் இருந்து மக்கள் தடுப்பதை உறுதி செய்யும். பசுவை பாதுகாக்க மக்கள் வாள் ஆயுதத்தை வைத்துக்கொள்ளவேண்டும்’ என்றார்.

கர்நாடக மாநிலம் உடுப்பி மாவட்டத்தில் விஸ்வ இந்து பரிஷத் அமைப்பு சார்பில் கூட்டம் நடைபெற்றது. இந்த நிகழ்ச்சியில் அந்த அமைப்பின் பெண் நிர்வாகியான சாமியார் சரஸ்வதி டிசம்பர் 14,  பங்கேற்றார். நிகழ்ச்சியில் பேசிய சரஸ்வதி, பசுவை பாதுகாக்க மக்கள் ஆயுதத்தை வைத்துக்கொள்ளவேண்டும்’ என்றார்.

பழநியை புனிதத் திருநகராக அறிவித்து மேம்பாட்டுப் பணிகளை மேற்கொள்ள வேண்டும் என, தமிழக அரசுக்கு, சிரவை ஆதீனம் குமரகுருபர சுவாமிகள் வேண்டுகோள் விடுத்துள்ளார்.

இதுகுறித்து அவர் தெரிவித்து உள்ளதாவது:புகழ்பெற்ற புனிதத் தலம் காசி. அங்குள்ள ஆலயம் சிறியதாக இருந்தது. பிரதமர் மோடி எடுத்த முயற்சியால் அக்கோவில் 5 லட்சம் சதுர அடிக்கும் மேலாக விரிவுப்படுத்தப்பட்டு ஆயிரக்கணக்கானோர் ஒரே சமயத்தில் கூடும் அளவுக்கு ஏராள வசதிகள் செய்யப்பட்டு உள்ளன.

இதேபோல் தமிழகத்தில் முக்கியக் கோவில்களை விரிவுப்படுத்த வேண்டும். முதல்கட்டமாக பழநி கோவிலை விரிவுப்படுத்த வேண்டும். லட்சக் கணக்கான பக்தர்கள் பாதயாத்திரையாக வரும் ஆன்மிக பூமி அது. புனித நகரான காசியில் மது, இறைச்சி விற்பனைக் கடைகள் இல்லை; அதுபோல் பழநியைச் சுற்றிலும் குறிப்பிட்ட தொலைவுக்கு மது, இறைச்சிக் கடைகள் இயங்க தடை விதிக்க வேண்டும்.

புனிதத் தலமாக அறிவித்து, கழிப்பிடம், நீராடல் வசதிகளை அதிகரிக்க வேண்டும். திருப்பதியில் செயல்படுவது போல் ஏராளமான போக்குவரத்து வசதிகள், ஆன்மிக சுற்றாத் திட்டங்களை செயல்படுத்த வேண்டும்.இவ்வாறு அவர் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

ஹிந்துக்களுக்கு தனி மயானம்; பிரிட்டன் அரசு அனுமதி

பிரிட்டனில் ஹிந்துக்களுக்கான தனி மயானம் அமைக்க அந்நாட்டு அரசு அனுமதி அளித்துள்ளது.

பிரிட்டனின் தென்கிழக்கு பகுதியில் உள்ள பக்கிங்ஹாம்ஷையரில் நவீன வசதிகளுடன் ஹிந்துக்களுக்கான ஒரு தனிப்பட்ட மயானம் அமைக்க முடிவானது. அனுாபம் மிஷன் என்ற தொண்டு நிறுவனம் சார்பில் அதன் கட்டுப்பாட்டில் உள்ள கோவில் அருகே மயானம் அமைக்க அனுமதி கோரப்பட்டது.  அதற்கான அனுமதியை பிரிட்டனின் திட்டமிடல் துறை வழங்கி உள்ளது. இதையடுத்து காத்திருப்பு அறை, தகன மண்டபம், சடங்குகள் அறை, குளியல் அறை, விழா மண்டபம் உள்ளிட்டவற்றுடன் ஹிந்துக்களுக்கான தனி மாயனம் அமைக்கப்பட உள்ளது.

இதுகுறித்து அனுாபம் தொண்டு நிறுவன ஆன்மிக தலைவர் பரம் புயா சாஹேப்ஜி கூறியதாவது: ஹிந்து சம்பிரதாயங்களின்படி இறுதி சடங்குகள் செய்வது ஆன்மாவிற்கு விடுதலை அளிப்பதற்கான அடிப்படை விஷயம். இதனால் இறந்தவர் குடும்பத்தினருக்கு மன அமைதி கிடைக்கிறது.

RSS not govt’s remote control, says Mohan Bhagwat

Calling for unity, RSS chief says the undivided land of India lost several battles with foreign invaders over the centuries as the local population was not united

The media portrays the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) as the government’s remote control, but nothing could be further from the truth, its chief Mohan Bhagwat said on Saturday.

He also said though India is not a world power, it certainly has the potential to become a world ‘guru’ in the post pandemic era.

Addressing ex-servicemen  IN Dharamsala ON December 18

, Bhagwat said, “The media refers to us as the remote control of the government, but that is untrue. Though, some of our workers are definitely part of the government. The government does not give assurances of any sort to our swayam sevaks. People ask us what we get from the government. My answer to them is that we may even have to lose what we own.”

Highlighting the ancient Indian practices in medicine, he said, “What saw us through were our traditional Indian remedies such as kadha, kwath (herbal formulations) and hygiene. Now, the world looks up to India and wants to emulate the Indian model. Our country may not become a world power, but it can certainly be the world guru.”          

The RSS chief observed a minute’s silence in memory of Chief of Defence Staff Late Bipin Rawat and 13 others who died in the chopper crash near Coonoor in Tamil Nadu recently.

Calling for unity, he said the undivided land of India lost several battles with foreign invaders over the centuries as the local population was not united. 

Quoting social reformer BR Ambedkar, he said we are never defeated by anyone’s strength but by our own weaknesses.

Bhagwat is on a five-day tour to Himachal Pradesh and is likely to meet Tibetan spiritual leader The Dalai Lama, sources said.

Anti-conversion bill: Right to religion not right to convert

Karnataka Home Minister Araga Jnanendra recently said that the anti-conversion law likely to be introduced by the state government during the upcoming winter session is only meant to ensure that no forced conversions take place. The law would have penal provisions and those wanting to convert would have to file an application two months in advance with the Deputy Commissioner.

In his detailed piece, Vicky Nanjappa brings home the point that the right to religion doesn’t amount to the right to convert. The bill is being opposed from various quarters even before it has been introduced in the assembly. Those opposing the bill are citing Article 25 in their defense stating that the law would violate provisions of the right to religion as enshrined in the Article.

Though the state cannot interfere with religious matters, it can regulate religious matters and activities associated with those practices.

Several states have brought in anti-conversion laws to ensure that vulnerable people aren’t forced to convert. Recently, Karnataka’s BJP MLA Goolihatti Shekar demanded action against Christian missionaries operating in the Hosadurga Assembly constituency for allegedly carrying out rampant religious conversions. He further said Christian missionaries have even got his mother converted to Christianity.

Speaking on the floor of the state Legislative Assembly on Tuesday, he said, “Christian missionaries are indulging in rampant religious conversions in Hosadurga constituency. They have got as many as 18 to 20,000 people converted to Christianity from the Hindu religion. The Christian missionaries have converted my mother and she has been told not to wear ‘kumkum’ (Vermillion) on her forehead.

“The ring tone of my mother’s cell phone has also been changed to Christian prayers. We are finding it difficult to perform ‘puja’ (worship) at home. It has been very difficult for us. If we try to tell her anything she says that she will end her life,” Goolihatti Shekar said. The Christian missionaries are even managing to lodge false atrocity cases and rape cases on those who questioned them through those converted from Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes. The government should take action in this regard, he urged.

Both crypto-Christianity and Christian conversions are rampant in Andhra Pradesh with 25% of the state estimated to be Christian. Even Punjab is increasingly seeing the Christian conversion mafia operating in full swing in the state.

Vishva Hindu Parishad has called for a complete ban on Tablighi Jamaat

The whole world is in serious trouble today due to the transgressions of the Tablighi Jamaat and its Nizamuddin Markaz. Calling it a manufacturing hub of radical Islamic Jihadism, and a host of global terrorism, the Vishva Hindu Parishad has called for a complete ban on it in Bharat as well.

Welcoming the ban imposed by the Saudi Arabian government on this Jamaat, VHP’s Central Working President and Senior Advocate Sri Alok Kumar said that by finding out the financial sources of the Tablighi Jamaat, which is endangering the lives of people, immediate ban should be imposed by Bharat and the entire world community on its bank accounts, offices and activities.

This radical Islamic fundamentalist organization is already banned in many countries of the world including Russia.

VHP demands –

1. Complete ban on Tablighis, Tablighi Jamaat and Ijtima in Bharat be imposed;

2. The building of Nizamuddin Markaz and the bank accounts associated with it should be sealed;

3. Their economic sources and resources should be found out and plugged;

4. The authorities should also crack down on institutions and organizations like Darul Uloom Deoband and PFI that give direct or indirect nourishment to the Tablighis, Tablighi Jamaat and Ijtima.

PRIZES DISTRIBUTED ON GITA JAYANTHI

The winners of the Bhagavat Gita shloka recitation competition were awarded prizes on Tuesday evening on the occasion of Gita Jayanthi.

This event was organized at Annamacharya Kalamandiram in Tirupati. This competition was held under the aegis of the HDPP wing of Tirupati Tirumalai Devasthanam. 17th Chapter of Bhagavad Gita was chosen for the competition for students.

The students were categorised as Junior and Seniors. Likewise, the competitions were also held in all 700 Shlokas to those above and below 18 years of age.

Prizes were given for the winners in all these four categories,

In connection with Gita Jayanthi on Tuesday, Akhanda Bhagavat Gita Shloka Parayanam was held by TTD in Tirumala.

Devotees participated braving inclement weather with utmost spiritual fervour.

All the 700 Shlokas from 18 chapters of Bhagavad Gita were rendered which was telecasted live on SVBC .

To enhance the spiritual fervour, the concept of Viswarupa Darshanam was recreated with the replicas of Sri Krishna Arjuna with Kapi dhwaja chariot in Kurukshetra on the Nada Neerajanam platform for the occasion.

Mother Teresa’s Missionaries of Charity home in Gujarat booked for converting girls

Missionaries of Charity’s shelter home in Vadodara has been booked for hurting religious sentiments and converting girl children. The orphanage made the girls wear the cross around their necks and the library had Bibles. A complaint was filed by a Social Defence Officer after the NCPCR Chairman had inspected the orphanage a few months ago.

NCPCR Chairman Priyank Kanoongo had inspected the shelter home in August and found some anomalies, the Times of India reported. He wrote to the district collector asking him to file a complaint against the home. Following this a committee was formed to look into the matter and it submitted a report to him.

Social Defence Officer Mayank Trivedi and the Child Welfare Committee officials visited the home and found that the inmates were made to wear the cross around their necks and made to read the Bible.

Makarpura police has filed an FIR based on the complaint which mentions that during the social security officer’s visit it was found that “girls at the home were being forced to read Christian religious texts and participate in prayers of Christian faith, with the intention of steering them into Christianity“.

Missionaries of Charity has denied these allegations asking whether keeping Bibles is wrong. Their spokesperson said that the girls were merely following the staff’s habits of reading the Bible and praying.

Missionaries of Charity was embroiled in illegal activities such as converting tribals and selling babies earlier. Founded by Mother Teresa, the organization runs orphanages and shelter homes across the country in almost every district.

Their shelter home in Jharkhand was found to have sold babies born to unwed mothers who took refuge at the institute.

Hindus in Britain to get their first purpose-built crematorium

Hindus in Britain are going to get their first purpose-built Hindu crematorium in Denham after a landmark resolution was made to grant planning permission.

The Planning Inspectorate on December 16 granted Anoopam Mission UK planning permission for the crematorium on its 15-acre website close to Denham.

The proposed crematorium will likely be positioned within the grounds of the Hindu temple on the Shree Swaminarayan Non secular Cultural and Group centre .

In its letter to Buckinghamshire Council, when making the unique software, Satish Chatwani, worldwide president of the Anoopam Mission UK, wrote…………

“Cemeteries are offered throughout the nation for the Muslim and Jewish communities to bury and honour their lifeless as befits their beliefs; that there isn’t any such provision for Hindus to correctly perform this final act of religion is a betrayal of our rights and our contribution to British society,”

Letters and petitions, with over 2,000 signatures of help, have been submitted and Bob Blackman MP and Lord Jitesh Gadhia spoke in favour of Hindus.
