சாக்ளா செகுலரிஸ ஆதரவிற்குப் பெயர் பெற்றவர். சரித்திர பாட புத்தகங்களில் இருந்த தவறுகளைத் திருத்தத் தவறி விட்டார். சிகந்தர் புட்ஷிகான் காஷ்மீரில் மார்த்தாண்ட சூரிய கோவிலை அழித்ததால் ஹிந்துக்கள் துயரமடைந்ததை அவர் வரலாற்றில் சேர்க்க ஒரு முயற்சியும் எடுக்கவில்லை. அதற்கு பதிலாக பாடத்தில் டெல்லி சுல்தான்களின் கங்கா யமுனா தெஹ்ஜீபை உயர்த்திக் காட்டினார். ஜஸியா வரி போன்ற ஹிந்து விரோதப் போக்குகளை அவர் காட்டாமல் ஒதுக்கினார்.
கங்கா, யமுனா ஆகிய நதிகள் ஹிந்துக்களுக்குப் புனிதமானவை. ஆனால் கங்கா யமுனா தெஹ்ஜீப் சமரசமான ஒரு பண்பாட்டை எடுத்துக்காட்டுவதற்காகச் சித்தரிக்கப்பட்டது. இந்தப் போக்கை அப்படியே கோதுமை பயிரிடுதலோடு ஒப்பிடுவோம்.
கோதுமை விளைநிலத்தில் மோசமான விதையான குல்லி தண்டா (PHALARIS MINOR) பயிர்கள் நன்றாக விளைவதை அச்சுறுத்தும். கங்கையும் யமுனையும் ஹிந்து நாகரிகத்திற்கு உரியவை போல நிலமானது விவசாயிக்குச் சொந்தமானது. இந்த நதிகள் ஹிந்து பண்பாட்டை வளப்படுத்துவது போல நிலமும் விவசாயிக்கு நிறைய பயிரைத் தர வேண்டியது தான்! என்றாலும் கூட விவசாயி விழிப்புடன் இல்லை என்றால் குல்லி தண்டா நிலத்தை மொத்தமாக அழித்து விடும். கோதுமை விளையும் நிலத்தை மோசமான பூச்சி அரித்த நிலமாக மாற்றி விடும்.
விவசாயிகள் நல்ல கோதுமை விளைச்சலுக்காக இடைவிடாது குல்லி தண்டாவை நீக்கப் பாடுபடுவர். அரசாங்கத்தின் கொள்கைகள் விதைகளை நன்கு வளரச் செய்து பூச்சி அரிப்பு இல்லாது செய்ய வேண்டுமா அல்லது மொத்தமாக பூச்சியால் அரித்துப் பாழ்படச் செய்ய வேண்டுமா?
குல்லி தண்டாவால் விளைந்த கோதுமையை யாராவது விலை கொடுத்து வாங்குவார்களா? குல்லி தண்டா கோதுமை என்று ஒன்று இல்லாதது போல கங்கா யமுனா தெஹ்ஜீப் என்று ஒரு பண்பாடே இல்லை.

Dvādaśānta (द्वादशान्त) refers to the Brahmarandhra or “apex of the End of the Twelve above the head”, according to variant manuscript editions of the Manthānabhairavatantra, a vast sprawling work that belongs to a corpus of Tantric texts concerned with the worship of the goddess Kubjikā.—The Santānabhuvana is within the three peaks of Trikūṭa—Triple Peak mountain that is “on top of Himavat.” Himavat is the mind (manas) and the apex of the End of the Twelve (dvādaśānta) above the head. This is where the three peaks are located. The Kumārikākhaṇḍa confirms that Triple Peak mountain is in the End of the Twelve.
According to Ṭīkā [on the Manthānabhairavatantra?]:—“Everything arises out of the End of the Twelve [i.e., dvādaśānta] and merges (into it). […] It is has many different names such as Supreme Void (parākāśa), the Cavity of Brahmā (brahmarandhra), the Abode of the Lord of the Fettered (paśunāthāśraya), the Plane of the Transmental (manonmanapada), Emission (visarga), the Foundation of Suṣumṇā (suṣuṃnādhāra), the End of the Twelve (dvādaśānta), the sacred seat of Yoga (yogapīṭha), and Samvartāmaṇḍala. There Bhairava is Kubjeśa and the form of the power (which is his consort) is Kubjikā who is surrounded by sixteen energies. What are these sixteen? They are (the vowels, beginning with the letter A and ending with visarga”.
Dvādaśānta (द्वादशान्त) refers to the “limit of twelve” and represents one of the sixteen types of “locus” or “support” (ādhāra) according to the Netratantra. These ādhāras are called so because they “support” or “localise” the self and are commonly identified as places where breath may be retained. They are taught in two different setups: according to the tantraprakriyā and according to the kulaprakriyā. Dvādaśānta belongs to the latter system.
There are two dvādaśāntas (“limits of twelve digits”) featuring prominently in esoteric Śaiva yoga, one being the nāsikya-dvādaśānta and the other being the śiva-dvādaśānta located twelve digits above the cranial aperture. This nāsikya-dvādaśānta (despite appearing to be derived from nāsā meaning “nose”) is explained by the Kashmirian exegetes—deriving nāsā from the root nasate in the sense of “crooked motion”—as being the same as the śakti-dvādaśānta in the cranial aperture (brahmarandhra). This may be because most the practices involve subtle breath control (sūkṣma-prāṇāyāma) and internal, upward exhalations (ūrdhvarecaka).
The “external” dvādaśānta (limit of twelve) (found also in Bhoja’s Rājamārtāṇḍa commentary to the Yogasūtra), sometimes called bāhya, where the coarse breath comes to rest (twelve digits below the nāsāgra), is called bhoga-dvādaśānta by Kṣemarāja, and it seems to feature only in preliminary purificatory practices.

Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, the ambitious pan-India project is based on the legend of Kannappa, a devoted follower of Lord Shiva. Before the movie hits theatres, here’s a look at everything we know about the mythological thriller.
Kannappa Movie Advance Booking Report
Advance bookings of Kannappa are now open in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and the U.S. The pan-India film, featuring both South and Bollywood superstars, is expected to be a blockbuster. In the Telugu region, the film has had a promising start, with BookMyShow reports showing more than 27,000 tickets sold in the last 24 hours. On the other hand, the U.S. witnessed a slower advance booking, since the bookings only opened yesterday, which is a bit late because most of the advance sales start at least a week before. Overall, there’s curiosity around the devotional theme of the film. Vishnu Manchu has been quite active with with film promotions, traveling from North to South India and even to Dallas. Kannappa registered advance sales of $10,3K for 263 locations in the USA, with only 486 tickets sold. It would be difficult for the film to cross Kuberaa’s pre-sales in the country.
In addition, the Government of Andhra Pradesh has approved a Rs 50 hike in the standard ticket prices for the film. A copy of the order has emerged on the internet. The official statement read, “In the circumstances reported in the reference 3rd cited, the Government after careful examination of the request of Sri M Mohan Babu, Producer of M/s Twenty Four Frames Factory Pvt. Ltd., hereby accord permission to the management of all the Theatres in the State of Andhra Pradesh to enhance the ticket rates upto Rs 50/- + GST for ‘Multiplexes’ and ‘Single Screens’, (limited to higher class tickets), over and above the admission rates mentioned in G.O.Ms.No.13, Home (General-A) Department, dated: 07.03.2022, for a period of Ten (10) days from the date of first release of the film i.e. on 27-06-2025 ‘KANNAPPA’.” (from Indian Express)
