There is an interesting advertisement in London Metro Newspaper about the value of Indian one rupee coin. It was published yesterday. It is a silver coin issued with Edward VII picture in India. It is a pure silver coin with one rupee value. Year 1904.

Now the advertisement says they have recovered Indian coins from the bottom of the sea. SS City of Cairo was the name of the ship that was torpedoed by a German war ship. This passenger ship sank in South Atlantic Ocean. No survivors reported. Recently two thirds of the treasures in the ship were recovered. And One Rupee Silver Coin was part of the treasure, says the Advt. Each coin is sold for £300. As of today’s exchange rate, it will be over Rs30,000.

If you have this coin, you can also make good money.
