Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday wished people on the first day of the nine-day festival of Navratri, hoping for a safe, healthy and prosperous planet as the country and the world battles the coronavirus disease (Covid-19), which has affected and killed millions across the globe.

“Many congratulations on the auspicious festival of Navratri. May jagat janani Ma Jagadamba bring happiness, peace and prosperity to all of you. Jai Mata Di!” PM Modi tweeted.

The Prime Minister also invoked Goddess Shailaputri, meaning the daughter of the mountains and one of the nine manifestations of Durga, who is worshipped the first day of Navratri.

“Pranams to Maa Shailputri on Day 1 of Navratri. With her blessings, may our planet be safe, healthy and prosperous. May her blessings give us strength to bring a positive change in the lives of the poor and downtrodden,” he added.

There is some good news from Uttar Pradesh,

Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday directed officials to improve facilities in Sanskrit schools. He said students in Sanskrit schools should be provided with free meals and other facilities.

Launching the website of Madhyamik Sanskrit Shiksha Parishad, the chief minister said  to promote Sanskrit, it is pertinent to link the subject with modern relevance. He said, “Alongside the traditional way of teaching the subject, students should be taught about Mathematics, sciences and computers.”

He said his government is determined to promote Sanskrit language in the state if necessary, with help of NGOs.

Here is another important news from Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh……………………………..

Enraged over the killings of priests and seers reported from several states in the recent past, Akhil Bharatiya Sant Samiti, an umbrella body of Hindu seers, has said it will launch a nationwide stir if the government does not provide security to seers.

The demand for security for the seer community was made at a meeting of seers from across the country was held and presided over by the samiti’s general secretary Swami Jeetendrananda Saraswati in Varanasi on Monday.

Speaking on the occasion, Patalpuri Matt’s mahant Baba Balakdas Maharaj alleged that Naxals were behind the attacks on seers.

On April 16 this year, two sadhus and their driver were travelling from Mumbai to attend a funeral in Gujarat’s Surat when their vehicle was stopped and they were  attacked and killed by a mob in a village in Palghar town of Maharashtra in the presence of police.

On October 7, a priest was allegedly set afire in Rajasthan’s Karauli district, and four days later, on October 11, a priest was attacked in Gonda district of Uttar Pradesh.

Three years ago, prominent seer Mahant Mohandas, the pontiff of Shri Panchayati Akhara Bada Udasin went missing while on his way to Mumbai from Haridwar on a personal visit. He was last seen at Meerut railway station and his mysterious disappearance led to major resentment among the saint community.

Now, even after three years, the police have not been able to trace or get a clue about Mohandas’ whereabouts.

In the meantime,

Bathukamma, Telangana’s major cultural festival, has doubled the joy of residents.

With Telengana’s hinterland becoming verdant stretches of bumper Kharif crops, and its lakes and reservoirs teeming with water, the festival of colours is turning out to be very different from the ones that Telangana has known before.

The nine-day Bathukamma  festival is the  quintessence of Telangana culture .

During these nine days, the menfolk of the house in rural areas would go out every morning into the agriculture fields or forests to pluck flowers. The entire family would then sit together and help each other arrange these flowers into a Bathukamma.

Comprising seven concentric layers, the Bathukamma is stacked in the shape of a temple’s ‘Gopura’. Gauramma, a symbolic idol of Goddess Gowri made of turmeric, is placed on top of the flowers.

This little floral mountain is worshipped as Goddess Bathukamma. Flowers of various hues and species are used in the arrangement.

Maathaa Vaishnava Devi Cave temple is one of the holiest places for Hindus in North India.

The nine-day long Navratri festival at Goddess Vaishnava Devi shrine began with Chandi Maha Yagya and chanting of Vedic hymns along with other rituals last week

The ‘Maha Yagya’, being performed at the holy cave shrine nestled in Trikuta hills in Jammu division for peace, prosperity and health of humanity, will conclude with Purna Ahuti on Mahanavami or the ninth day of the Navratri festival.

The Chandi Maha Yagya is telecast from 12.30 p.m. to 1.30 pm daily during Navratri festival.

And last but not the least is some good news from London

Every ten years a big International Stamp Exhibition is held in London. This year it has to be held virtually because of the COVID virus scare. N. He has been collecting stamps on Hindu Gods and Hindu festivals from different countries. He displayed his stamps in Four Large Frames in the London Stamp Exhibition.

More and more evidence are coming through the list of ‘TAMIL WORDS IN ENGLISH’ to support my pet theory that ‘Indian language’ is the mother of all languages in the world. Indian language consists words from TAMIL AND SANSKRIT languages.  Both came from same source. It shows that a language can branch out in two ways. Even linguists agree the branching out of SATAM (100) AND CENTUM(100) languages. Tamil and Sanskrit are closer than any two languages in the world. The language map of the world is NOT drawn to scale. When the Periodic Tablewas drawn by the Russian chemist Dmitri Mendeleev and Theory of Evolution Tree was drawn by Charles Darwin they did it scientifically. But Family of Languages map is NOT drawn to scales. All encyclopaedias mislead the world. Yesterday’s languages without literature and grammar and script is given top positions and Sanskrit, the oldest language with the oldest book and the oldest grammar book is at the bottom. They should have at least written, ‘it is not done to scale’ (Chronologically).

Old linguists took one word from unknown scriptless, grammarless, literatureless, rootless languages and compared it with the oldest language Sanskrit. For Sanskrit, we have archaeological evidence from at least 1500 BCE  in the form of Mitannian names, Bogazkhoi clay tablet inscription of Turkey and  Dasaratha letters of Egypt. Thank God all these are available in encyclopaedias, but English writers hid all these evidences from Indian History books.

So please ignore all the Family of Languages Maps or diagrams and redraw it chronologically. But you can have good laugh by reading the books of Caldwell gangs and Max Muller gangs. Best jokes are available in

Bow – wow theory

Kluck- kluck theory

Pooh- pooh theory

Ding- dong theory

Onomatopoeic theory of very famous half baked oldies.

And it doesn’t stop there. Even the classification and chronological order  of ‘Isolating languages, Agglutinative languages and Inflexional languages are wrong. When you look at 750 +++++ New Guinean languages and 200 ++++Australian aborigine’s languages you can laugh and laugh at those oldies. In my recent article on ‘barking of the dogs’ I have shown dogs bark with different sounds in different parts of the world!! Crows and cocks make different sounds as well!!

Last but not the least, William Jones misled the entire world by citing Matha=Mother, Pita=Father, Bratha=Brother, Hora= Hour etc and made us to believe that Aryans came from outside. All the quotes are later than Sanskrit Vedas. Lakhs of words in Sanskrit are missing in the western languages. All words regarding Yaga Yajna, and education are not found in European languages. Very important words like Guru, Manava/student, Vyakarana/grammar are not seen in their languages, because they were uncivilised, uneducated, illiterate , nomadic, barbarians at the time. Only upto number ten of Sanskrit will be found in their languages. Their bird brains couldn’t digest more than that.  If anyone compares the languages in chronological order they will agree with me.

In short, when you compare two languages see whether they have scripts, literature, and grammar books, otherwise reject all the theories. Arrange them chronologically and compare them. Nothing can come nearer to Rig Veda and its Pratisakhyas, oldest grammar in the world. Several hundreds year later came Homer’s Illiad and Odyssey. Just hundred years before that came FEW chapters of the Old Testament of Bible. Here and there we find some Persian and Chinese stuff. Latin and Tamil came very late (literature wise).

Now let me continue with my Third Part :–

‘C’ is the most misleading letter. It has the sound value of ‘ch’ and ‘kh’ as in Charles and Character. And it has also the value of ‘Q’. Because of this Chaturth, ¼ ,is written as Quarter. ‘Q spelt words’ are very misleading.

Please remember that Tamil Grammarian banned all ‘Cha,Sa’ beginning words. No sibilant is available in Tamil.

Also note that French used ‘C’ for ‘K’. Tamil town Kadalur (koodalur) has the spelling of Cuddalore even today because of the French rule.

C List:–

C.1. Conch – Sangu ; சங்கு it  is a Sanskrit word Sankha, commonly used in Tamil.

C.2. Cord – Saradu, Kodi , கொடி, சரடு,

C.7. Congress , Committee – Sangam, Samiti; க/சமிட்டி , கா/ஸங்க்ரஸ் = சங்கம் both are Sanskrit words; but Tamils boast that they had Three Sangams to foster their language for 10,000 years. So the word SANGAM, banned by Tolkappiyan, is vital for Tamils!!

C.8.Ceres, Goddess – this branched out into Seer/Serivu/ sirappu (Wealth and Prosperity) செரீஸ் – சீர் , செறிவு, சிறப்பு, ஸ்ரீ , ஸர் பட்டம் (பிரிட்டனில்) in Tamil and Sri in Sanskrit ; that gave birth to ‘Sir title’ in English and ‘Thiru/Mr’. in Tamil (T=S; you can see it in all English words with TION=SION) திரு; டியன்=ஷன்
