Shree Krishna temple in GURUVAAYUR is a famous temple in Kerala.
Despite the government capping the daily number of devotees allowed to enter the Guruvayur Sree Krishna Temple at 1,000, the shrine now witnesses less than 50% of the permitted number of devotees. vertisement: 3:35
K B Mohandas, chairman, Guruvayur Devaswom, told newspapermen “Though 1,000 people are allowed to have darshan at the temple daily after booking their visit through the virtual queue system, hardly 50% of them turn up .
“Of the around 500 devotees who visit the temple daily, half of them are locals in the absence of devotees who have booked their visit.
The number of marriages held at the Guruvayur temple, too has been drastically hit. Compared to the pre-Covid times when around 100 weddings used to take place daily at the divine abode, their number has come down to a handful now.

Another controversy is brewing in Andhra Pradesh
Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will present silk robes to Goddess Kanaka Durga atop Indrakeeladri on Moola Nakshatram day during Navaratri celebrations, according to Sri Durga temple Devasthanam
The temple trust board held a meeting on Wednesday to review arrangements for the nine-day Dasara festivities, which will be held from October 17 to 25.

A few weeks ago Jagan mohan Reddy’s visit to the Balaji Temple at Tirupati created a controversy. He is a Christian and he came to the temple without his wife. Politicians and Hindu organisations criticised him for this.
In the mean time………………….

Hindus in Britain have criticised the A Q A for linking Hindus with terrorism in the school syllabus.
AQA, the Assessment and Qualifications Alliance, is an awarding body in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. It compiles specifications and holds examinations in various subjects at GCSE, AS and A Level and offers vocational qualifications.
AQA is a registered charity and independent of the government
Vinay sharma , a Hindu from London has brought this issues on social media and asked all Hindus concerned to send an e mail to AQA.
Mr Sharma pointed out the line in the syllabus
On Page 4 and page 11 of the GCSC syllabus it says “some Hindus have turned to terrorism to protect Hindu beliefs.”
Hindu organisations have no representative in the AQA. They see it as a deliberate attempt to malign Hinduism. They also point out a mountain is made out of molehill.
According to Mr Sharma their email is eos@aqa.org.uk
Hindus should ask the exam body to change these lines and any such matters in their syllabus
so that the image of Hindus and Hinduism is not wrongly projected amongst the children of this
country.
