A paper cutting from Indian Express dated 1-10-1983

Sri I.Mahadevan has presented a paper on ‘The Cult Object on Unicorn Seals— a sacred filter?’ at the 31st International Congress of Human Sciences In Asia and North Africa, Japan. He explained this with the help of recordings and slides at the Kuppuswamy Research Institute , Mylapore (Chennai) on September 25, 1983.

He pointed out,1.The most characteristic object of the Indus Valley civilisation is the square stamp seal made of stone, featuring a one horned bull ( the so called Unicorn) with a cult object placed in front of the
