Hindus are the only people in the world who wear ornaments from head to foot. Greeks have no ornaments on their statues in the ancient time. Egyptians had some jewellery  ut only kings and queens wore it around their necks. Where as all Hindus have been wearing it whether it is a king or a servant; our ancient statues and literature prove it. Until this day wedding pictures of brides also show this. We have copious references to these ornaments in the Rig Veda, the oldest book in the world. After Rig Veda, we see it in the necks of Mother Goddess in Harappan Civilization. Statues of Yakshis, Yakshas and devotees dated around second century BCE reveal all types of jewelleries.

Apart from Hindus, Mayans and Aztecs in South America wore almost similar ornaments like the Hindus. We know that Mayans migrated to South America after a big conflict with Lord Krishna and Arujana. Both wanted to cultivate in new areas and construct new houses. So, they declared that they are going to burn Khandava Vana (Gond Wana Land). Naga tribes in the forest objected to it. But Krishna went ahead igniting a long fight between Nagas and Rulers for a few centuries. They killed all Nagas when Parikshit was assassinated. Then Astika Rishi and Jaratkaru initiated a peace agreement. Brahmins recite this historical peace agreement in a mantra three times a day. They face towards north and recite Narmadaayai Namah mantra with full details. ( In my research article written a decade ago, I have given over sixty similarities between Mayan Civilization and Hindu Civilization).
