In the previous 12th chapter seven out of ten couplet have Sanskrit words.

Sama and Vanika (vaanika= business, commerce) are well known Sanskrit wors. English word SAME is derived from sama.

And the Kural 114 has its echo in Manu10-57; Kural 118 is reflected in Bhagavad Gita 5-18; 12-19; and Dhammapada sloka 269.

Here in this 13th chapter, we have Sanskrit words in couplets 121, 126 and 130.

Kural 121 talks about going to heaven which is typical Hindu concept. Word Amarar used by Valluvar here means Devas in the heaven, who live eternally.

Indulgence leads to deepest night, and leaves him there.
