மஹாபாரதத்தில் பலருடைய விசித்திரமான பிறப்புகளின் பின்னுள்ள உண்மைகளை — அறிவியல் உண்மைகளை — நிறைய எழுதிவிட்டேன். இன்று பாண்டு, திருத ராஷ்டிரன் பிறப்புகளில் உள்ள விஞ்ஞான உண்மைகளைத் தொட்டுக் காட்டுகிறேன்.

மஹாபாரத மாவீரர்களில் அதிகம் போற்றப்படாதவர்களில் ஒருவர் பாண்டு மஹாராஜன். ஆனால் மஹாபாரதத்தில் இவரைப் பற்றிப் பல பாராட்டுரைகள் உள்ளன. மனிதர்களுள் ஆண்புலி என்று வருணிக்கப்படுகிறார்.

கணவனும் மனைவியும் படுக்கையில் இன்பம் அனுபவிக்கும்போது வேண்டா வெறுப்பாக ஒருவர் இருந்தாலும், அது பிறக்கப் போகும் குழந்தையைப் பாதிக்கும் என்பது பாண்டு-திருதராஷ்டிரர் வாழ்க்கையில் பிரதிபலிக்கிறது..

மேலை நாடுகளிலும் கூட, பெற்றோர்கள் குடி, கூத்து, போதை மருந்து,  மற்றும் பல தீய பழக்கங்களைக் கொண்டிருந்தால் அந்தக் குடும்பத்தில் பிறக்கும் குழந்தைகள் அதிகமாக சமூக விரோதச் செயல்களில் ஈடுபடுவது, ஆராய்ச்சியில் தெரியவந்துள்ளது.

எல்லோருக்கும் தெரிந்த கதை என்பதால் மிகச் சுருக்கமாக சொல்கிறேன். விசித்திரவீர்யனின் இரண்டு மனைவிகளுக்கும் மகப்பேறு இல்லாததால் நாட்டை ஆள்வதற்கு சந்ததி இல்லாமல் போய்விடுமே என்று வியாசர் மூலமாக குழந்தை பெற்றுக்கொள்ள வியாசரின் தாயாரே எற்பாடுசெய்கிறார். அக்காலத்தில் ராஜ வம்சம் நசித்துப் போகாமல் இருக்க இப்படி ஒரு ஏற்பாடு இருந்தது. விசித்ர வீர்யனின் இரண்டு மனைவியர் அம்பிகா, அம்பாலிகா. இருவரிடமும் வியாசர் வரப்போகிறார் என்று சொன்னவுடனே முகம் சுழித்தனர். ஏனெனில் வியாசர் கருப்பர். அவர் பெயரே கருப்பு (க்ருஷ்ண த்வைபாயன)! அழகும் கிடையாது. ஆனால் உலக சாதனையில் அவரை மிஞ்ச இன்று வரை யாரும் பிறக்கவில்லை. பிரம்மாண்டமான வேதங்களை நான்காகப் பிரித்தார். உலகிலேயே நீண்ட இதிஹாசமான மஹாபரதத்தை எழுதினார். இதில் இல்லாத விஷயங்களே உலகில் இல்லை.

அவர் படுக்கை அறையில் நுழைந்தவுடன் அம்பிகா வெறுப்புற்று கண்களை முடிக் கொண்டார். வியாசரோ முற்றும் துறந்த முனிவர். அது பற்றிக் கவலைப் படாமல் தாயார் இட்ட கட்டளையை தலைமேற்கொண்டு பாலியல் இன்பத்திற்காகவன்றி, வம்ச விருத்திக்காக மட்டுமே என்று,  சொன்ன செயலைச் செய்துவிட்டு வெளியேறினார். கண்னை மூடி வெறுப்புக் காட்டிய அம்பிகாவுக்கு கண்கள் தெரியாத திருதராஷ்டிரன் பிறந்தான். அவனும் வெறுப்புடன் பிறந்ததால் இறுதிவரை பாண்டவர் மீது வெறுப்பைப் பொழிந்தான்; அழிந்தான்.

அம்பாலிகாவுக்கும் இதே வெறுப்புதான். அவளும் வேண்டா வெறுப்பால முகம் வெளுத்து பயந்து போய் படுக்கையில் படுத்தாள் . அவளுக்குப் பிறந்த பாண்டு மஹாராஜன் வெளுத்த தோலுடனும், செக்ஸில் ஈடுபட முடியாத பயத்துடனும் பிறந்தான்..

இது  மஹாபாரதம் கற்பிக்கும் பாடம்; செய்யும் செயலை — செக்ஸே ஆனாலும் — மனமுவந்து செய்ய வேண்டும் அப்படி செய்யாவிடில் குழந்தைகள், குறையுடன் பிறக்கலாம்.

பாண்டுவின் மற்ற கதை எல்லோரும் அறிந்ததே. குந்தி என்ற முதல் மனைவியும் மாத்ரி என்ற இரண்டாவது மனைவியும் உண்டு. ஒரு முறை வேட்டையாடும் போது மான் தோல் போற்றிய கிண்டம ரிஷியை உண்மையான மான் என்று நினத்து அம்பெய்திக் கொன்றுவிட்டார். அப்போது அந்த ரிஷி தன் மனைவியுடன் படுத்திருந்தார். உடனே அவர் ஒரு சாபம் இட்டார். நீ உன் மனைவியுடன் படுத்தாயானால் இறந்து போவாய் என்று.

பாண்டுவும் பயந்துபோய் காட்டிற்குத் தவம் செய்யப்போனார். அவருடன் இரண்டு மனைவியரும் சென்றனர். ஒரு நாள் மாத்ரியும், பாண்டுவும் உணர்ச்சிவயப்பட்டு படுத்தபோது பாண்டு இறந்தார். சாபத்தை அறிந்தும் கணவனை எச்சரிக்காமல் போனோமே என்று வ ருந்தி மாத்ரியும் பூதப் பாண்டியன் மனைவி கோப்பெருந்தேவி போல கணவருடன் தீப்பாய்ந்தாள்.

குந்திக்கும் மாத்ரிக்கும் மந்திரம் மூலம் பிறந்த பஞ்ச பாண்டவர்களையும் வளர்க்கும் பொறுப்பை குந்தி ஏற்றாள்.

யோ ந ஸ்வான் இவ தாயாதான் தர்மதஹ பரிரக்ஷதி( 1-199-17)

ஆண்களில் புலி போன்ற வீரம் படைத்த அவர் (பாண்டு)  மீண்டும் வந்து விட்டார்; குணங்களை நன்கு அறிந்தவர். தர்ம விதிப்படி நம்மை தனது சொந்தக்கார ர்கள் போலப் பாதுகாக்கிறார்.

ர்ஷயஸ் த்வ அபரே சை நாம்

புத்ரவத் பர்யபாலன் 1-113-3

பாண்டு காட்டில்ச தவம் செய்த போது சிலரை சகோதர்களாகவும் சிலரை தோழர்களாகவும் நடத்தினார். ஆனால் ரிஷிகளோவெனில் பாண்டுவை தனந்து சொந்த மகன் போல நடத்தினர்.

பாண்டு ராஜ வம்சத்தில் பிறந்திருந்தாலும் காட்டில் தவம் செய்தபோது ஒரு பிரம்ம ரிஷி போல ஒளியுடன் விளங்கினார்:

ப்ரம்மரிஷி சத்ருச பாண்டுர்

இவ்வாறு பல இடங்களில் பாண்டு போற்றப்படுகிறார்.

இது 26 வயதில் இறந்த மஹா மேதை ராஜம் ஐயர்-பகுதி 4 (இறுதிப் பகுதி)

இறுதிப் பகுதியில் முக்கிய அம்சங்கள்:

இவருக்கு திருமணம் நடந்து மனைவி வீட்டுக்கு வந்தாள். மனைவியுடன் சுமுக உறவு. ஆனால் தந்தையிடம் சுமுக உறவு இல்லை.

இரண்டாவதுமுறை, குடற் சிக்கல் நோய் வந்து அபூர்வமாகப் பிழைத்தார். அதுவரை ஆன்மீகம் என்று வாளாவிருந்த ஐயர்,

பணத்துக்காக பிரபோத சந்திரிகை என்னும் பத்திரிக்கையை துவங்க எண்ணி, இவரை ஆதரித்து வந்தோரின் எதிர்ப்பையும் பொருட்படுத்தாமல் அறிவிப்பு வெளியிட்டார்.

மூன்றாம் முறை மிகவும்கடுமையான நோய் வந்தது. அப்பொழுது குருநாதர் சாந்தாநந்தா அங்கே வந்தது இவருக்கு உற்சாகம் தந்தது.

கடும் நோயிலும் குருநாதருக்கு பாத பூஜை செய்ய ஆசைப்பட்டார். குருநாதரே அதைத் தடுத்துவிட்டார். அங்குள்ள சூழ்நிலை அவருக்கு புரிந்தது.

நோய்முற்றி 26-ம் வயதில் அமரரானார். இவர் வேதாந்தம் பற்றி எழுதிய விஷயங்கள் தனி ஒரு புஸ்தகமாக வெளியானது. இந்த வாழ்க்கைச் சரித நூல் 1909ல் வெளியிடப்பட்டது.

 இனி விண்வெளியில் மனிதன் வாழ முடியும்!

விண்வெளியின் பல தனித்தன்மைகளைக் கருதி அங்கு மனிதன் வாழ முடியுமா என்ற விவாதம்  பல வருடங்களாக நடந்து வருகிறது. இந்த சூழ்நிலையில் மார்ச் 2015 முதல் மார்ச் 2016 முடிய அமெரிக்க விண்வெளி வீரரான ஸ்காட் கெல்லி மொத்தம் 357 மணி நேரங்கள் விண்வெளியில் பன்னாட்டு விண்வெளி நிலையத்தில் (Internatinal Space Station)பல்வேறு சோதனைகளுக்கு உட்பட்டு சாதனை படைத்திருக்கிறார். தனது கடைசிப் பயணத்தையும் சேர்த்துப் பார்த்தால் அவர் விண்வெளியில் இருந்த நாட்கள் மொத்தம் 520. (இந்த சாதனையை ஜெஃப் வில்லியம்ஸ் மற்றும் பெக்கி விட்ஸன் ஆகியோர் முறையே 534 நாட்கள் மற்றும் 665 நாட்கள் இருந்து முறியடித்திருக்கிறார்கள்).

கெல்லியின் அச்சு அசலான இரட்டை பிறவியான மார்க் கெல்லியும் ஒரு முன்னாள் விண்வெளி வீரர் தான்!

கெல்லி 2016இல் விண்வெளி நிலையத்தில் இருந்த போது செய்யப்பட்ட ஆராய்ச்சி முடிவுகள் கொஞ்சம் கொஞ்சமாக இப்போது வெளி உலகிற்கு வரத் தொடங்கியுள்ளன. தொடர்ந்து இவர் விண்வெளியில் இருந்ததால் மனிதன் விண்வெளியில் இருப்பது சாத்தியம் தானா என்பதை ஆராய்ந்து கொண்டிருந்த நாஸா விஞ்ஞானிகளுக்கு அப்பாடா என்ற நிம்மதி மூச்சு வந்தது; பல ஆய்வுகளை நடத்தி விண்வெளியில் மனிதன் இருப்பது சாத்தியம் தான் என்ற முடிவுக்கு அவர்கள் வரத் தொடங்கியுள்ளனர்.

ரஷியா தனது விண்வெளிவீரர்கள் ஆறு பேரை விண்வெளி நிலையமான மிர் ஸ்டேஷனுக்கு அனுப்பி ஆய்வுகளை மெற்கொண்டது. ஆனால் அதைப் பற்றி ஒரு விவரமும் வெளி உலகிற்கு இன்றளவு தெரியாது.

கெல்லி ரஷிய விண்வெளிவீரரான மிஹெயில் கோர்னியன்கோவுடன் 11 மாதங்கள் இருந்த போது நாஸா மிக முக்கியமான 17 ஆய்வுகளை மேற்கொண்டது.

விண்வெளியில், மைக்ரோ கிராவிடி நிலையில்,  மனித உடலில் இருக்கும் திரவங்கள் எப்படி இயங்குகிறது என்பதை அறிவது ஆய்வின் முக்கிய நோக்கம். உடலில் உள்ள மைக்ரோப்கள் விண்வெளி வாழ்வை எப்படி தாக்குப் பிடிக்கின்றன என்பதையும் ஆய்வு மேற்கொண்டது. விண்வெளியில் நீண்ட காலம் தங்கி இருந்த பின் அவர்களது உடல் என்ன மாறுதலை அடைந்திருக்கிறது, இப்படிப்பட்ட ஒரு நீண்ட கால வாழ்க்கையை அவர்களது உடல் தாக்குப் பிடித்திருக்கிறதா என்பதும் ஆய்வு செய்யப்பட்டது.

இந்த ஆய்வின் இன்னொரு முக்கிய நோக்கம் ஒரு மனிதனால் விண்கலத்தில் ஏறி செவ்வாய் கிரகத்திற்குச் சென்று திரும்ப முடியுமா என்பதைப் பார்க்கவும் தான்!

ஆகவே இப்போது விஞ்ஞானிகள் இந்த ஆய்வின் அடிப்படையில் சந்தோஷத்தில் மிதக்கிறார்கள். இன்னும் சில நீண்ட கால ஆய்வுகள் தேவை என்பதும் அவர்கள் கருத்து. இந்த ஆய்வின் முடிவுகளை வைத்து ஆறு மாதம் விண்வெளியில் தங்கும் வீரர்கள் 10 பேர், ஒரு வருடம் தங்குவோர் 10 பேர், இரண்டு  மாதம் தங்குவோர் 10 பேர் என முப்பது வீரர்களை அனுப்பி அவர்களின் மீது புதிய ஆய்வுகளை நாஸா மேற்கொள்ள இருக்கிறது.

இந்தச் செய்திகளை எல்லாம் 2019, ஜனவரி முதல் தேதியன்று வெளியான ஜர்னல் ஏரோஸ்பேஸ் மெடிசின் அண்ட் ஹ்யூமன் பெர்ஃபார்மன்ஸ் வெளியிட்டுள்ளது.

ஆக இனி விண்வெளி வாழ்க்கையும் மனிதர்களுக்கு உண்டு.

பூமி வாழ் மக்கள், விண்வெளி வாழ் மக்கள் என மனித குலம் அகண்ட இரு பெரும் பிரிவுகளாக ஆகப் போகும் காலம் விரைவில் மலரும்!

ஒரு சின்ன ரிவியூ!

கடந்த எட்டு ஆண்டு காலமாக அறிவியல் துளிகள் தொடரில் நாம் படித்ததை ஒரு மதிப்பீடு செய்து பார்க்கலாமா?

வெவ்வேறு இயலைச் சேர்ந்த விஞ்ஞானிகளின் வாழ்க்கை வரலாறுகள், நோபல் பரிசு பெற்ற விஞ்ஞானிகள், அவர்களது சாதனைகள், நோபலுக்குப் போட்டியான வேடிக்கையான இக்நோபல் பரிசு பெற்றோர், விண்வெளி வீரர்கள், அவர்களது பயணங்கள், காலப் பயணம் சாத்தியமா, காட் பார்டிகிள், ஆவிகள் பற்றிய ஆய்வு, புனர்ஜென்ம ஆய்வு, சைபர்னெடிக்ஸ், க்வாண்டம் பிஸிக்ஸ், பட்டர்ஃபிளை தியரி உள்ளிட்ட பல புது கொள்கைகள், இசை தரும் மேன்மைகள், அறிவியல் மூலம் ஆரோக்கியம், சினிமாவில் நடைமுறைக்கு வந்துள்ள புது உத்திகள், ஆன்மீகத்தை நிரூபிக்கும் அற்புதமான அறிவியல் சோதனைகள்,விஞ்ஞான உலகில் உள்ள பெண் விஞ்ஞானிகளின் சாதனைகள் என்பன உள்ளிட்ட 400க்கும் மேற்பட்ட வித்தியாசமான பொருள்களில் கட்டுரைகளைக் கண்டோம். அறிவியல் அறிஞர்கள் வாழ்வில் என்ற பகுதியில் சுமார் 350க்கும் மேற்பட்ட விஞ்ஞானிகள் வாழ்க்கையில் நடந்த சுவையான செய்திகளைப் பார்த்தோம். ஐன்ஸ்டீன் போன்றவர்களின் வாழ்க்கையில் ஒன்றுக்கும் மேற்பட்ட சம்பவங்கள் இதுவரை வந்துள்ள 416 அத்தியாயங்களில் உள்ளன. இந்தத் தொடரை தொகுத்து பைண்ட் செய்து வைத்திருப்போருக்கு இது ஒரு சிறந்த அறிவியல் கையேடாகத் திகழும். பல்வேறு பொருள்கள், விஞ்ஞானிகள் பற்றிய இண்டெக்ஸைத் தயாரித்து வைத்துக்  கொண்டால் எந்த அறிவியல் பொருள் பற்றி எங்கு வேண்டுமானாலும் ஆதார பூர்வமாக பேச முடியும்.

இந்தத் தொடரை உருவாக்கக் காரணமாக இணைய தளத்தில் உள்ள பலநூறு தளங்கள் உதவி செய்தன. அவை தரும் செய்திகளின் உண்மைத்தன்மையையும் ஆராய்ந்து பார்க்க வேண்டி இருந்தது.

முக்கியமாக நன்றி தெரிவிக்க வேண்டியது சான்ஃபிரான்ஸிஸ்கோவில் சன்னிவேலில் உள்ள நூலகத்திற்குத் தான்! பேரறிஞர்கள் எழுதியுள்ள நூல்கள் தாம் எத்தனை! எவ்வளவு புத்தகங்கள் வேண்டுமானாலும் எடுக்கலாம்; 21 நாட்களில் திருப்பித் தர வேண்டும், அவ்வளவு தான். சுமார் 2000 ரூபாயிலிருந்து 10000 ரூபாய்க்கும் மேற்பட்ட விலை உள்ள நூல்களைப் படிக்க வாய்ப்பு தந்திருக்கும் நூலகத்தைப் பற்றிச் சொல்லிக் கொண்டே போகலாம்; அப்படி ஒரு அற்புத அமைப்பு!

இந்தியா மேன்மையுற்று வல்லரசாக ஆக அறிவியல் அடிப்படையான தேவை. அதிலும் ரொபாட் இயல், விண்வெளி இயல், ஆர்டிஃபிஷியல் இண்டெலிஜென்ஸ் எனப்படும் செயற்கை அறிவு இயல், மூளை இயல்  ஆகியவையே எதிர்கால உலகை ஆளப்போகிறது. இந்திய மக்கள், குறிப்பாக தமிழர்கள் இவற்றில் தேர்ச்சி பெற்று முன்னணியில் நின்றால் நாளைய உலகம் நமதே!
