4 ஆடு எட்டுதான் ஆனாலும் கோட்டைச்சுவர் குட்டி தான்
நான் இதுவரை கேட்டதில்லை. யாரவது எழுத்தில் இதைப் பயன்படுத்தி இருந்தால் அர்த்தத்தைக் கண்டு பிடிக்கலாம்.
பொதுவாக நானாக யூகம் செய்வது இதுதான்:-
சில பழமொழிகளை , காலப்போ க்கில் அவரவர் இஷ்டப்பட்டி , ஒவ்வொருவரும் மாற்றிக்கொள்கின்றனர் .
கழுதை கெட்டால் குட்டிச் சுவர் என்று கேட்டிருக்கிறோம்.
1. நாலு ஆடு உயரத்துக்கு எட்டினாலும், கோட்டைச் சுவர் குட்டிதான் (யாரும் எளிதில் செய்யாலாம்)
2.எட்டு ஆடுகள் இருக்கின்றன . சுவர் சின்னதுதான் . போய் எடுப்பது/ திருடுவது எளிதே.
3. எட்டே ஆடுகள் இருந்தாலும் ஆவை எளிதில் தப்பிக்கலாம். ஏனெனில் கோட்டைச் சுவர் மிகவும் சிறிதே .
எல்லாம் ஊகமே !

தேவரீர்,
நான் தங்களுடைய மகத்தான ஞான விளக்கங்களை ஈமெயிலில் வாசித்து வருகிறேன். தங்களுடைய சேவை மிக போற்றுதலுக்குரியது. தங்களிடம் ஒரு வேண்டுகோள். ஒரு வலைத்தளத்தில் புத்த மதத்தைப் பின்பற்றும் ஒருவர் “மறு ஜென்மம் குறித்த வலியுறுத்தல் புத்த மதத்திலேயே தொடங்கியது. இந்து மத வேதங்களில் அவை கிடையாது. உபநிஷதங்களில் இருந்து தான் இக்கருத்து உட்கொள்ளப்பட்டது. அதுவும் பவுத்த சமயத்திற்கு சம காலத்திலேயோ அதற்குப் பிற்பாடோ தான்” என்று கூறுகிறார்.
ரிக் வேதத்தில் மறு பிறப்பு குறித்த வரிகள் உள்ளனவா? தெளிவு படுத்த வேண்டுகிறேன்.

Also… this reference talks about 40 names. Is that a precise count… or an estimated number?

MY REPLY:
Strictly speaking his names are 17 in the Bhagavad-Gita. Some are repeated more than once. Apart from these names Arjuna addresses him with various epithets such as Ananta= O Infinite One (11-37), ‘Oh you supreme of power’ = apratima prabhavah 11-43, sakah = Hi Comrade! 11-41; friend etc.
17 names of Krishna
ACHYUTA;1-21; one who does not deviate from his divine form.( this name is used more than once)
ARISUDANA 2-4 ;Slayer of enemies
BHAGVAN;10-14; O Lord; one who has six attributes
GOVINDA;1-32; cow keeping; or one who is aware of the activities of the organs.
