Points to be noted: This entire chapter echoes the thoughts in the very first verse of Isavayopanishad, which is Gandhiji’s most favourite Upanishad verse.
Isavaasyamidam sarvam yathkinchajagathyaam jagath
Thena thyakthena bhunjeethaah, maa gridhah kasyaswid-dhanam
ईशा वास्यमिदं सर्वं यत्किञ्च जगत्यां जगत् ।
तेन त्यक्तेन भुञ्जीथा मा गृधः कस्यस्विद्धनम् ॥
“All things of this world, the transitory, the evanescent, are enveloped by the Lord who is the real Reality of each. Therefore, they have to be used with reverent renunciation, without covetousness or greed for they belong to the Lord and not to any one person”.
Point Two: Once again Valluvar proved himself a Pukka Hindu by quoting Goddess of Wealth again in Kural 179.
My research:
Kuti in first couple is a Sanskrit word.
Even THIRU for Lakshmi is derived from SRI.
SRI became SIR title in England.
SRI became THIRU in Tamil.
All the S is pronounced T in English words vice verse .
Few Examples: Fruition (T=S), condition , addition, assumption ; hundreds of English words have this T=S.
So Thiru= Sir= Sri;
This is one of the proofs for my theory that all the ancient languages of the world can be traced back to Tamil or Sanskrit; culture spread to Egypt, Babylonia, Sumeria etc from Hindu India.
