Whatever we have read as magic and mystery in the mythology seventy or hundred years ago, have become day to day ordinary things now; I will explain:

We thought only sages and seers (Rishis and Munis) could see what happens in another or a distant place; now we have CC TV and TV broadcasts which show us that happens in a distant place. With hand held objects, I pads and mobile phones we do now, what sages and seers did 100 years ago.

We thought only Rishis and Munis can hear Gandharva singing in the sky; now we have hand held small radios with which we can hear Bhuloka Gandharavs (earthly musicians) but yet the music is coming from the heavens (air).

We heard that sages and seers received the truths from the heavens; they ‘heard’ it and so we called the Vedas Sruti (Sruti= which is heard); now with the help of internet and google, we can access truthful ( and of course porno and untruthful) information. Now we better understand how the sages and seers could have done it.

Now we know billions of pages can be saved on the internet and anyone could receive it from different parts of the world at any time. They are stored ‘somewhere”

If someone has talked or predicted about mobile, internet, television, Ipads etc. 150 years ago, one would have thought we are talking about something mysterious or strange or science fiction.

In short, now man has become Superman; Manusha has become a Deva!

When we read such magical things, we thought only Devas can do it. Now we know man is also becoming a superman. But yet no one could say what would happen in our grandchildren’s time. Incredible science inventions come every year. Now I can order radio or TV to switch on through my voice. I open the doors with my look (eyes) or finger prints.

But there is a big difference. Our sages did this without any equipment; they could talk about astronomy without telescopes, they could see distant objects without TV or Mobile phones. They knew that mind has more power than scientific equipment. They knew words have more power than science equipment. No one has mastered that art yet.

Now I am coming to the point.

Manu Smrti and our Puranas speak about various time zones for Devas and Brahma. When we hear about Extra Terrestrial Civilizations in distant planetary system we will understand such descriptions better.

We read that Devas cant have sex in the Devaloka, cant stand on their feet,can’t blink, their garlands never wither away , they can travel from one place to another place and appear intact, sages like Narada can do inter galactic travel (Tri Loka Sanchari)etc.

Now I read in Manu Smrti that human year is different from Deva (angelic) year and Deva year is different from Brahma year and Brahma’s life is insignificant compared to the Supreme God. If at all we hear or find another ET civilisation, then we will know all these are true.

For a house fly that lives only 24 hours, human year is 365 times more; human life span is 365X100 days more than the fly’s life span. If we take the life of a bacterium then our life span is million times more. For a turtle ot tortoise that lives 300 years, our life span is shorter.

Now look at what Manu says about Time calculation:-

When he whose power is incomprehensible, had thus produced the universe and men, he disappeared in himself, repeatedly suppressing one period by means of the other.
When that divine one wakes, then this world stirs; when he slumbers tranquilly, then the universe sinks to sleep.
But when he reposes in calm sleep, the corporeal beings whose nature is action, desist from their actions and mind becomes inert.
When they are absorbed all at once in that great soul, then he who is the soul of all beings sweetly slumbers, free from all care and occupation.
When this (soul) has entered darkness, it remains for a long time united with the organs (of sensation), but performs not its functions; it then leaves the corporeal frame.
When, being clothed with minute particles (only), it enters into vegetable or animal seed, it then assumes, united (with the fine body), a (new) corporeal frame.
Thus he, the imperishable one, by (alternately) waking and slumbering, incessantly revivifies and destroys this whole movable and immovable (creation).
But he having composed these Institutes (of the sacred law), himself taught them, according to the rule, to me alone in the beginning; next I (taught them) to Mariki and the other sages.
Bhrigu, here, will fully recite to you these Institutes; for that sage learned the whole in its entirety from me.
Then that great sage Bhrigu, being thus addressed by Manu, spoke, pleased in his heart, to all the sages, ‘Listen!’
Six other high-minded, very powerful Manus, who belong to the race of this Manu, the descendant of the Self-existent (Svayambhu), and who have severally produced created beings,
(Are) Svarokisha, Auttami, Tamasa, Raivata, Kakshusha, possessing great lustre, and the son of Vivasvat.
These seven very glorious Manus, the first among whom is Svayambhuva, produced and protected this whole movable and immovable (creation), each during the period (allotted to him).
Eighteen nimeshas (twinklings of the eye, are one kashtha), thirty kashthas one kala, thirty kalas one muhurta, and as many (muhurtas) one day and night.
The sun divides days and nights, both human and divine, the night (being intended) for the repose of created beings and the day for exertion.
A month is a day and a night of the manes, but the division is according to fortnights. The dark (fortnight) is their day for active exertion, the bright (fortnight) their night for sleep.
A year is a day and a night of the gods; their division is (as follows): the half year during which the sun progresses to the north will be the day, that during which it goes southwards the night.
But hear now the brief (description of) the duration of a night and a day of Brahman and of the several ages (of the world, yuga) according to their order.
They declare that the Krita age (consists of) four thousand years (of the gods); the twilight preceding it consists of as many hundreds, and the twilight following it of the same number.
In the other three ages with their twilights preceding and following, the thousands and hundreds are diminished by one (in each).
These twelve thousand (years) which thus have been just mentioned as the total of four (human) ages, are called one age of the gods.
But know that the sum of one thousand ages of the gods (makes) one day of Brahman, and that his night has the same length.
Those (only, who) know that the holy day of Brahman, indeed, ends after (the completion of) one thousand ages (of the gods) and that his night lasts as long, (are really) men acquainted with (the length of) days and nights.
At the end of that day and night he who was asleep, awakes and, after awaking, creates mind, which is both real and unreal.
Mind, impelled by (Brahman’s) desire to create, performs the work of creation by modifying itself, thence ether is produced; they declare that sound is the quality of the latter.
But from ether, modifying itself, springs the pure, powerful wind, the vehicle of all perfumes; that is held to possess the quality of touch.
Next from wind modifying itself, proceeds the brilliant light, which illuminates and dispels darkness; that is declared to possess the quality of colour;
And from light, modifying itself, (is produced) water, possessing the quality of taste, from water earth which has the quality of smell; such is the creation in the beginning.
The before-mentioned age of the gods, (or) twelve thousand (of their years), being multiplied by seventy-one, (constitutes what) is here named the period of a Manu (Manvantara).
The Manvantaras, the creations and destructions (of the world, are) numberless; sporting, as it were, Brahman repeats this again and again.

பூமியைப்போல பல்லாயிரக் கணக்கில் கிரகங்கள் இருப்பதும், பால்வெளி மண்டலம் (MILKY WAY –மில்கி வே) போல கோடிக் கணக்கில் பிரபஞ்சங்கள் இருப்பதும் இப்பொழுது விஞ்ஞானிகள் வெளியிடும் தகவல்கள். ஆனால் இது இந்துக்களுக்கு எப்பொழுதோ தெரிந்த விஷயம்!

எத்தனையுளதென்பது யார் அறிவார்?

— என்று பாரதி பாடியதில் வியப்பில்லை. அவர் நம் காலத்தவர்

ஆனால் அப்பருக்கும், சம்பந்தருக்கும் முன்னால் வாழ்ந்த மாணிக்கவாசகரே — அதாவது இற்றைக்கு 1400 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன் வாழ்ந்தவரே — இந்த அரிய உணமையைப் பாடியுள்ளார். கலிலியோ, கோபர்நிகசுக்கு முன்னதாக வானத்தை அளந்தவர்கள் நாம்!

இதோ திருவாசகப் பாடல்:–

அண்டப் பகுதியின் உண்டைப் பிறக்கம்

அளப்பருந் தன்மை வளப்பெரும் காட்சி

ஒன்றனுக்கு ஒன்று நின்று எழில் பகரின்

நூற்று ஒரு கோடியின் மேற்பட விரிந்தன

இல் நுழை கதிரின் துன்அணுப் புரையச்

–திரு அண்டப் பகுதி, திருவாசகம்

இதில் அண்டம் என்பது உருண்டை வடிவானது, அது நூற்றுக்கணக்கான கோடி அண்டங்களாக விரிவடைகிறது என்ற வானவியல் கருத்துகள் சொல்லப்படுகிறது.

இந்தப் பிரபஞ்சம் காற்றால் ஊதப்படும் பலூன் போல விரிவடைந்து கொண்டே இருக்கிறது என்பதெல்லாம் தற்காலக் கண்டுபிடிப்புகள். ஆனால் இதை சம்ஸ்கிருத நூல்களும் , தமிழ் நூல்ல்களும் சில ஆயிரம் ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்னரே செப்பிவிட்டன.

நமக்கு 900 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன் வாழ்ந்த கம்பனும் எல்லோருக்கும் தெரிந்த — எல்லா இந்துக்களுக்கும் தெரிந்த — இவ்வுண்மையை போகும் போக்கில் சொல்லிவிடுகிறான்:–

தோன்றல் நீ முனியின் புவனத் தொகை

மூன்று போல்வன முப்பது கோடி வந்து

ஏன்ற போதும் எதிர் அல என்றலின்

சான்று வேதம் தவம் பெரும் ஞானமே

–ஆரண்ய காண்டம், கம்ப ராமாயணம்

இதன் பொருள்:-

தலைவனே நீ சினம் கொண்டால், இம் மூவுலகங்கள் போல முப்பது கோடி உலகங்கள் ஒன்றாகக்கூடி எதிர்த்தாலும், அவை உன் ஆற்றலுக்கு ஏற்றவை அல்ல. இவ்வாறு கூறுவதற்கு வேதங்களும், எமது தவமும், தத்துவ ஞானமும் சான்றுகள் ஆகும்.

முப்பது கோடி உலகங்கள் என்பதை அப்படியே அர்த்தம் (LITERAL MEANING) கொள்ளாமல் பல கோடி உலகங்கள் என்று படிக்க வேண்டும்.

ஆக கம்பன் காலத்திலேயே இப்படி வானியல் அறிவு இருந்தது. கோடிக்கணக்கான நட்சத்திரங்கள் ஒவ்வொன்றும் ஒரு சூரிய மண்டலம் போன்றவை எ து அவர்களுக்குத் தெரியும்.

பிற கிரகங்களில் உயிரினங்கள்

விஞ்ஞானிகள் இதுவரை பிற கிரகங்களில் உயிரினங்களைக் கண்டு பிடிக்கவில்லை. ஆனால் இந்து புராணங்கள் மற்ற கிரகங்களில் உயிரினங்கள் வாழ்வதையும் அவர்களுடைய நிலையையும் தெளிவாகக் கூறியுள்ளன:–

பிற கிரகங்களில் வாழ்வோருக்கு கண்கள் இமைக்காது

1.கால்கள் நிலத்தில் பதியாது

2.அவர்கள் எப்போதும் மகிழ்ச்சியாக இருப்பர்.

3.நினைத்த மத்திரத்தில் கிரகம் விட்டு (INTER GALACTIC TRAVEL) கிரகம் செல்வர்.

4.வேண்டிய உருவங்கள் எடுக்கவல்லவர்.

5.அவர்கள் போட்டுக்கொண்ட மாலைகள் வாடா.

6.அவர்கள் மேல் உலகில் செக்ஸில் (NO SEX REGION) (உடல் உறவில்) ஈடுபடமுடியாது.

7.அவர்களுக்கு ஒளிமிகுந்த (PHOSPHOROUS) உடல் உண்டு.

கம்பனும் புற அண்டம் (EXTRA TERRESTRIAL) பற்றிப் பாடுகிறான்:–

கம்பன் காலத்திலேயே புற அண்டங்களில் உயிரினங்கள் வாழ்பவது தெரியும்!

புகல் புகுந்திலரேல் புறத்து அண்டத்தின்

அகல்வரேனும் எம் அம்பொடு வீழ்வரால்

தகவு இல் துன்பம் தவிருதிர் நீர் எனா

பகலவன் குல மைந்தன் பணிக்கின்றான்

–ஆரண்ய காண்டம், கம்ப ராமாயணம்

இதன் பொருள்:-

முனிவர் உரைத்ததைக் கேட்ட சூரிய குல ராமன், அவரிடம், இவ்வரக்கர்கள் இனிமேல் தீங்கு செய்ய மாட்டோம் என்று கூறி என்னிடம் அடைக்கலம் அடையாவிட்டால், அவர்கள் இந்த அண்டத்தை விட்டு வேறோர் அண்டத்துக்கு ஓடிப்போனாலும் என் அம்பால தாக்கப்பட்டு அழிந்தொழி வார்கள் எனவே நீங்கள் துன்பத்தை ஒழியுங்கள்.

இப்பாட்டில் சொல்லப்படும் அறிவியல் கருத்துகள்:–

1.புற அண்டம் உண்டு

2.அவற்றுக்கு பயணம் செய்வதும் சாத்தியமே.

இந்த அறிவியல் கருத்துகள் இல்லாவிடில் இத்தகைய சொற்கள் பாடலில் இடம்பெறா.

இல்லாத ஒன்றை கற்பிப்பது புலவர்க்கு இயலா.

இருப்பதையே அவர்கள் சொல்லுவர்.

ஆக கம்பராமாயணம் முழுதும் வரும் வானில் கருத்துகளை ஒட்டு மொத்தமாக தொகுத்துப் பார்த்தால் அக்காலத்தில் மக்களுக்கு எவ்வளவு தெரிந்தது என்பதை அளவிட முடியும்

கோள், கோளம், அண்டம்

அண்டம் என்ற சம்ஸ்கிருதச் சொல்லுக்கு முட்டை என்று பொருள்.

இந்த பிரபசம் , விண்வெளியில் உலவும் கிரகங்கள் இவறுக்கு நம் முன்னோர்கள் பயன்படுத்திய இச்சொல்லிலிருந்து அவர்களுக்கு அக்காலத்திலேயே பூமி, பிரபஞ்சம் எல்லாம் வட்டவடிவமானவை என்பது தெரிந்திருந்தது என்பது தெளிவாகிறது.

பூகோளம், மண்டலம், கோள் என்பன எல்லாம் வட்ட வடிவத்தையே குறிக்கும்.

தமிழும் சம்ஸ்கிருதமும் ஒரே மூலத்திலிருந்து பிறந்ததால் கோள், கோளம் என்பன கி கங்களுடன் தொடர்புடைய சொற்களாகப் பயன்படுத்தப்படுகின்றன. கால்டுவெல்களும், மாக்ஸ்முல்லர்களும் பிதற்றிய ஆரிய– திராவிட மொழிக் கொள்கைகளை உதறிவிட்டுப் பார்த்தால் அற்புதமான மூல மொழி– உலகிற்கெல்லாம் தாய்மொழி தெரியும்.

Hindus’ Future Predictions- Part 1

My friends get annoyed whenever I say, “it is already said in our Hindu scriptures”, interrupting their scientific discussions. One of my friends became very bold and challenged me one day in front of everyone. “Look, if we say Darwin gave us Theory of Evolution, you say it is already in our Dasavatar starting from fish and finishing with a super man Kalki avatar, if we say that Copernicus said that the earth was round you say that is already there in the books of Aryabhatta and Varahamihira, if we say that Columbus discovered America, you say that Hindus welcomed him when he landed there, Right, I accept you invented or discovered Chess, Zero, Algebra, many theorems and the Arabic numerals. Now tell me what your Hindus have already discovered, but the world is yet to discover them”. This challenge gave me the shock of my life. I asked him for a week’s time and found out some interesting things. Read the following:

Venus and Rain: Tamil literature and Sanskrit literature associate Venus with the rains. Astronomers and meteorologists will discover that Venus has a link with the rains in future. If Venus goes towards south, the world will have a drought (going south is an astrological jargon to denote appearing towards south). The Vedas and Tamil literature talk about twelve year long droughts. So the scientists will find out that the position of Venus has an impact on world’s weather.

We know that the sun has a big role in the growth of plants. We read plants make food by photosynthesis using sun light. But Sanskrit literature is very clear and loud in saying moon’s rays give energy to the plants. So biologists will find out soon the link between the moon and the plants. But Hindus never denied Sun’s role.

Sanskrit Navagraha Stotras (hymns on nine heavenly bodies) gives the relationship between the planets. Hindus have already found out that Jupiter is the largest and heaviest planet and named it GURU appropriately. Guru means leader, teacher and heavy in Sanskrit. Mars is called Red planet by Tamil and Sanskrit poets. Mars is already confirmed red by scientists. Mars is called Bhumi Puthra/ son of earth. Scientists also believe Mars may have water and life.

Saturn is called a black planet by Sangam Tamil poets and Sanskrit poets (Maim meen in Tamil and Neela in Sanskrit). Saturn will be confirmed black by scientists in future. It is also called chaya puthra (son of shadow as well as son of sun). Hindus said that Saturn has a son called Manthi. It corresponds to the ring (Mantle) around it.

Planet Mercury is called “son of moon”. Science is yet to prove the link between the two heavenly bodies. Probably mercury came into existence because of moon. When moon or/ and another body collided with earth mercury might have born. Science will prove Hindus are right about mercury .

Venus is described as the “son of sun”. Scientists will prove the link between the sun and Venus. We already know that Venus is the brightest object in the sky next to sun and moon. It is always with the sun (it can be seen either at dawn or at sunset).

Aliens in Hindu scriptures: Hindus describe the alien (E.T.) features very clearly 1. Aliens can’t have sex or give birth in their world. If they want to have sex or give birth they have to come to earth. 2. They don’t perspire 3. Their feet won’t touch the earth/ always floating 4. They don’t wink 5. They can travel to earth and go back to their world. 6. They are happy and they don’t need to eat.7. Their garlands never wither away 8. They always shine like dazzling lights. Whenever Hindus describe about Indra’s visit to earth they say the whole area was shining like sun. Even Madurai city was founded when a businessman was crossing the forest of Katampa trees in the middle of night watched Indra doing Puja shining brilliantly at the dead of night. Scientists will find a place like heaven soon or confirm the existence of such a place in the universe.

Futurology: Before the scientists and Nostradamus predicted the future, Mahabharata (vanaparvam) and Bhavishya Purana described what will happen at the end of Kaliyuga. The description was similar to the Nuclear winter. We realised it only when we watched the film “The Day After”.

Concept of Time: Hindu concept of time is completely different from the western concept of time. Hindus believe that they can get out of time and watch it from the top of Time mountain. They can be part of it or get out and travel back and forth. But very rarely they interfere in it. (read my article Time Travel by Two Tamil Saints). I don’t say that Einstein is wrong. But we know a way (Time warps) to get out of time and travel between three worlds (Heavenly singer Narada is called Triloka Sanjari/one who travels between three worlds. Here three worlds may mean present, past, future).

Brahmastra & Nuclear weapon: Hindus can produce weapons by mantras (spells). These weapons are similar to nuclear weapons but sound based. They knew the power of water (Hydrogen and Oxygen). Whether it is a curse or boon they always use water along with the mantra.(please read my article Is Brahmastra a Nuclear Weapon? and Do Word Have Power? The Science of curses and boons.)

When the first nuclear device exploded in 1945 ,Father of the Atomic bomb J.Robert Oppenheimer, an American physicist, burst in to a Bhagavad Gita sloka(Chapter 11,verse 32) where Krishna says ,” Now I am become Death, the Destroyer of worlds”. He said these words after witnessing a huge fire ball that brightened the sky for many miles producing huge mushroom cloud. Now the chapter 11 fits very well with the description of Black Holes. Nothing is destroyed but they come back (in time) is the message given by Krishna. Scientists will slowly come to that conclusion about Black Holes.
